Last night was a BONUS episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and in case you missed it, you missed Sheree and Phaedra get served by Sheree’s ex-husband, Bob, in court. Unfortunately, Sheree and her ex-husband are still battling each other over child support, and when Bob beats Sheree to the punch by filing a petition to reduce his child support, Sheree hires her friend and lawyer, Phaedra to help her out with the case. Phaedra reminds Sheree that she still has the option to throw Bob in jail for failing to pay child support for the past four years, but who wants to see their child’s father sitting in a jail cell? Sheree decides to go ahead and take Bob back to court in attempts to get a substantial amount of child support for their children. Kim’s Baby Shower Turns Into A Complete Disaster! “RHOA” [RECAP] According to the housewives, the court system in Atlanta usually favors men especially high profile men like athletes which put Sheree in a tight situation. Although Sheree was nervous about the upcoming court date, Phaedra reassured her that everything would be okay, and to let her do all the talking. The day finally came for Sheree to face her ex in court, and although she was teary eyed, she put her big girl panties on, a pair of low pumps and slacks that hid her “big ol donky booty” and held her head high. Should Sheree Hound Her Ex Husband For Child Support? “RHOA” [RECAP] Less than five minutes into the case, Sheree’s ex hands the judge a Petition Contempt against Sheree, claiming that she took furniture from him during their divorce. Sheree wasn’t sweating, yet, as she stated, “Oh no, no, no, my attorney Phaedra Parks got something better for you boo!” But, Phaedra Parks had nothing. She was just as stunned as we were by Bob’s cleverness and ability to represent himself in court. I guess Sheree should have warned Phaedra ahead of time that Bob was a smart man, and had a degree from Stanford. They agreed to meet in court at a later date, so Phaedra could have time to review Bob’s petition. Later that afternoon, Sheree, Phaedra and Kandi meet for a quick lunch. Their conversation turns emotional with Sheree and Kandi begin talking about Sheree’s experience in court and Kandi’s experience with trying to get child support from her ex husband for her daughter Riley. It’s an emotional moment for the housewives, and it’s hard to watch these strong women broken down by their ex-men who aren’t active in their children’s lives. On a lighter note, Kim and Kroy finally bring baby KJ home and he’s as cute as a button! At least one housewife seemed to have a happy episode! What did you think about last night’s episode? Eva Longoria filed for divorce from Tony Parker in January, and it was pretty clear why: The point guard cheated on the beautiful actress with Erin Berry , the estranged wife of a San Antonio Spurs teammate. Talk about a Desperate Housewives -esque scandal! But in the latest issue of Spanish Vanity Fair, Longoria says she’s at peace with her ex, even though “it stands to reason that I should be angry and resentful.” So why isn’t she? Why can Eva talk openly and calmly about the alleged infidelity? It helps when you have a hot man on your arm, as the gorgeous star has grown serious with Eduardo Cruz , brother of Oscar nominee Penelope Cruz. “I was very lucky to find Edu,” Longoria tells the magazine of her new boyfriend. As for her professional future? Is Eva worried about life after this final season of Desperate Housewives ? Nope, that’s all good, too. “I’ve never doubted my talent,” she says. “I know how to make a living. I am a gypsy!”
Last night was another crazy episode on “Real Housewives of Atlanta”. Everyone was preparing for Kim’s baby shower which seems to be like the “super-bowl” of reality television considering this is the event where EVERYTHING goes down. Prior to the baby shower, we find out that Cynthia’s husband, Peter, has done an interview in a magazine where he basically talks badly about all of the ladies, saying that Sheree is not pretty and that he can’t stand Phadera. When Kandi and Phadera go shopping for Kim’s baby shower gift, the ladies discuss Peter’s magazine interview and Phadera’s disappointment with the way he talked about her in the article. “It’s not my fault Papa Smurf slept with everybody he ever met,” Phadera joked with Kandi about Peter, which was actually quite hilarious if I do say so myself. I suppose that this little shopping adventure foreshadows the events to come at Kim’s baby shower. When it’s finally time for Kim’s baby shower, everything looks beautiful! Nene was not invited, of course, but the show must go on without her and her antics. Phadera, who had an over the top baby shower on last year’s season, approves of Kim’s extravagant baby shower even though Kim criticized her last season for “doing the most” whens he should have just “sat in a rocking chair, opened her gifts and been done”. Everything seemed to be running smoothly at the shower until of course, Cynthia and Peter decided to show up five hours late with 20 minutes left in the party. Everyone was shocked to see Cynthia and Peter arrive especially since Nene was not invited, but according to Sheree, I guess Nene decided to let her puppy (Cynthia) off her leash for the day! As soon as Peter and Cynthia sat down at the table to join the rest of the ladies, things immediately got heated. Phadera brought up Peter’s magazine interview and Apollo jumps to his wife’s defense, turning to Peter and asking him if he has a problem with him his family. Things eventually escalate to the point where Cynthia has to escort Peter out of the venue and the police were on hand just incase anything extra popped off.
