Cameraman Justin Lyons, the sole witness to the tragic death of Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin revealed the star’s final moments in a new interview this week. “I’m dying,” was all the 44-year-old popular television host said after a surprise attack eight years ago by a massive stingray, Lyons told Studio Ten Sunday . Steve Irwin Death The two were in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef in September 2006 to shoot a nature documentary when they found a “massive, 8-foot-wide stingray,” Lyons said. Lyons, who worked with Irwin for 15 years, said they were “looking for something to do” when they went exploring around the water in an inflatable boat. He told his friend to swim up behind the stingray and he would try to get a shot of the “normally very calm” animal. But the stingray did not remain calm. “All of a sudden, it propped on its front and started stabbing wildly with its tail,” Lyons said, adding that it made “Hundreds of strikes in a few seconds.” “I didn’t realize how serious it was. I didn’t know it punctured his heart. I thought maybe it just punctured his lung and we had a good chance of saving him.” He pulled Irwin into a boat and tried to get him help. He did CPR on him for an hour but Irwin, who was bleeding profusely from his chest, could not be revived. Lyons told Irwin to think of his children in that moment. “He just sort of calmly looked up at me and said, ‘I’m dying.’ And that was the last thing he said,” Lyons said. When the medics finally came they pronounced him dead within 10 seconds of their arrival, Lyons said. Courtland Rogers, Jenelle Evans’ husband and a hardcore drug fiend, has shared a video of himself getting high on the drug that killed Philip Seymour Hoffman . In the wake of Hoffman’s tragic demise, as well as the loss of beloved Glee star Cory Monteith just months ago, Radar and Rogers have jointly published this. In the sickening footage, ostensibly shared to show the impact of the narcotic, Rogers gazes into the camera, mixes the heroin in a small cap and fills a syringe. Rogers, who is still technically married to Jenelle Evans of Teen Mom 2, then flicks the syringe, slumps forward and injects it into his tattooed right arm. “I did relapse, see all my track marks,” he boasts to camera, then within seconds of shooting the heroin, Rogers slurs: “Now I am officially high as hell.” After kicking his habit in jail, Courtland Rogers says he is now clean and determined to help others avoid the dangerous drug by revealing his experiences. “Heroin gave me the most euphoric high,” he told Radar in an exclusive interview this week. “It was a feeling of finally being loved by something.” But that love quickly turned sour. He said, “It got to the point where I had to have it, where I’d do anything in the world to feel that high and not get sick.” “In the past six months, I have lost four friends to heroin,” Rogers revealed. “That is four families without their loved ones, one being my own cousin.” “It overpowers you and takes you away from everything! It kills.” “After a while, you do it just to not get sick. You don’t even get high, it’s just not to get sick. It is insane! You disappear from reality and forget about everything except [heroin].” But now, he says he has a new perspective on the world. “My life without it in it makes complete sense. George Zimmerman plans to join the ranks of celebrity boxing and is already on the hunt to find a famous opponent, according to reports. Seriously. Promoter Damon Feldman is behind the celebrity boxing match, set to take place on March 1, though it’s unclear who he will be duking it out with. “Boxing isn’t new to me,” George told Radar Online in an article posted on the celebrity news site last week; he also linked to their story about his debut. Zimmerman began boxing long before the February 2012 incident in which he killed Trayvon Martin and became a nationally notorious figure. The case polarized the country around issues of racial justice, self defense and gun control; Zimmerman eventually walked after a jury acquitted him. His plans to get in the ring are just the latest example of cashing in on his notoriety. A George Zimmerman painting recently sold for over $100,000 (seriously). Some of the proceeds from the event would go to an animal rescue charity, Zimmerman said, while suggesting he might do this more than once. “Obviously if I get my butt kicked around, then no!” he quipped.
