We’re sure he’ll get a nice severance package if things don’t work out J.Lo Says She’s Not Certain Whether Or Not She Will Marry Casper Smart Via People After a year away from American Idol, Jennifer Lopez is returning to the judges’ panel a changed woman. “That was such a transformative year for me in so many ways,” Lopez told reporters Monday ahead of Wednesday’s premiere of Idol’s 13th season. “I had just divorced, I went on tour with the kids, and I left Idol. All my security blankets were gone, and I was out there doing something I had never done before.” But as she travelled the globe on her first world tour, she relied on support from her mother and boyfriend Casper Smart, whom Lopez called “fantastic” with her twins Emme and Max, 5. “I was surrounded by love and family,” said Lopez, 44. “I really grew. My goal was not to come out the other side and just survive it but grow as a human being as well as an artist, and I felt I did. I learned a lot.” One thing Lopez has learned is to accept that she is someone who prefers to be in a relationship. “I’m one of those people who does not like to be alone,” she said. “I have no shame saying that at this point in my life. I think we have to own who we are.” As for the broom-jumping… “I don’t know. We’ll see. I don’t know,” she said when asked if she would like to get married for the fourth time. “You know, I’ve always believed in that institution. I believe in it, but it is difficult. I’ve had my challenges, but at the same time I believe in love, and I think that is the main thing.” Sounds like she’s not ready for her fourth divorce quite yet…we’ll give her some time. According to NY Daily News reports : A Colombian mother has been busted pimping out her 12 young daughters after selling their virginities for just $200 each, police said. Margarita de Jesus Zapata Moreno, 45, was detained in Bogota earlier this week after one of her girls, now 16 and pregnant, contacted police. The teen was reportedly angry after her mother ordered her to abort her child. Tito Cornelio Daza, 51, allegedly the baby’s father, was also arrested. Univision reports that Moreno, who has a total of 14 children, would sell their virginities once they turned 12 years old. She would then allegedly force them to prostitute themselves to pay the bills. “It hurts that a mother would do this,” police Chief Carlos Melendez, investigating the case, told reporters. “The mother contacted highly solvent but depraved men so they could have sex with the minors when they turned 12,” he added. Moreno, who has denied the allegations, faces 10 years in prison if convicted. She currently remains at El Buen Pastro prison, while Daza is being held at Modelo Prison. Both are accused of carnal abuse of a minor under 14, and the enforcement of prostitution. Moreno’s two children not subjected to the sex work, a boy of 11 and a girl of 9, are reportedly in the care of social services. The daughter who reported her mother is now receiving psychological help from the Colombian Family Welfare Institute. SMH. Too bad it took abortion threats to get this girl to turn her mom in. Maybe if one of the older girls had said something sooner it could have prevented the younger sisters from being exploited. Our thoughts and prayers are with those kids.
