Mendeecees Copped To Major Drug Slinging Last Spring; Faces Up To 40 Years Love & Hip Hop New York’s Mendeecees Harris has been given a little bit more time to enjoy life on the outside. The admitted drug kingpin and father of two has had his sentencing hearing for drug trafficking delayed until the Fall, BOSSIP can reveal. Harris, who earlier this year pled guilty to felony conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute, was supposed to be sentenced Aug. 31 in New York State Federal Court, but the sentencing hearing was pushed back until Oct. 2. “It was the judge’s schedule,” Harris’ lawyer, Donald Thompson, told BOSSIP. “We didn’t have any control over it.” The government contended that Harris helped operate a large drug dealing operation that funneled huge quantities of cocaine and heroin from New York City to upstate New York. Under his plea deal, Harris could get anywhere from five to 40 years in prison, as well as a $5 million fine. Thompson said it wasn’t yet clear how much time Harris was going to do. “As we get closer, we’ll have a better idea,” he said. “We don’t have anything firmed up. In the meantime, Harris is keeping busy with work and family, Thompson said. “He seems to be doing well,” he said. “They’re filming the new season, he’s doing a lot of public appearances.”

The primary takeaways from the magazine’s feature on the R&B star? Trying to figure out what goes on in his head is useless; In many ways he is a walking, talking contradiction; He may not know the meaning of certain words. There are some nice ones, like “I bought my mom a $1 million dollar house when I was 15 years old” and “I love dancing with my daughter Royalty .” Chris also owns 14 Burger Kings, although he doesn’t eat beef, directs all his own music videos, got his first tattoo at 13, and so on and so forth. Brown was kind enough to reveal 25 facts about himself that most people don’t know, and by “kind,” we mean “inconsiderate and hurtful.” But then it just got weird. “I’m the only singer who has been incarcerated and had a No. 1 record at the same time,” he reveals, as though this were a feather in his cap. Bobbi Kristina Brown’s estate has amended its lawsuit against Nick Gordon, accusing her boyfriend and two friends of being responsible for her demise. New accusations claim that Bobbi Kristina’s death was no accident and also involved two of Krissie’s friends, Max Lomas and Danyela Bradley. She was found face down in a bathtub of cold water at her home in January; Bobbi Kristina died in July, having never recovered from her coma. It was later revealed that the drowning caused irreversible brain damage, and Nick’s actions leading up to the tragedy have been suspicious. For many, his story doesn’t add up. The daughter of Whitney Houston was missing teeth and had injuries and bruising inconsistent with damage typically done performing CPR. Nick swears he didn’t hurt her , pointing to a car crash she was in the same week as the near-drowning as the explanation of the injuries on her. Gordon is very bad news, though, and even the rosiest spin on his actions that day likely involve him drinking and doing drugs with Bobbi Kristina. According to her estate’s executor, Gordon reeked of alcohol as local police and paramedics arrived to try and save Bobbi on that fateful day. Moreover, it is alleged that he not only gave her a “toxic cocktail,” but was cheating on Bobbi with her friend while she drowned in the tub. The guest was laying on the bed as Bobbi Kristina and Nick fought after Gordon came back from an all-night cocaine and alcohol-fueled bender. After the altercation, Gordon came out of the bathroom, placed his head on the ankle of a “female guest” who is believed to be Danyela and said: “Now I want a pretty little white girl like you.” Pretty creepy, and worse yet, after the drowning, he was seen pushing Danyela out of the same facility where Bobbi Kristina was receiving treatment. Nick was not allowed to see Bobbi, having been banned by the Houston and Brown families. He showed up at least once with Danyela, though. Another mutual friend of Nick and Bobbi’s, Mason Whitaker, posted a Facebook rant claiming Bobbi was given a “bad batch” of heroin. Then, Bobbi shot up and the drowning ensued. Mason further claims that a panicked Nick, Danyela, and Max didn’t call the police for nearly 20 minutes after discovering her body that morning. Perhaps the most astonishing part of that allegation is that Bobbi’s aunt, Pat Houston , is paying Lomas and Bradley to pin the death on Nick . Last week, Instagram celebrity Josh Ostrovsky (better known as The Fat Jew) came under fire for allegedly stealing jokes and posting them on his hugely popular Instagram page. Now, in an exclusive interview with Vulture, Ostrovsky is speaking out for the first time on the accusation that he built a career by brazenly stealing the work of others. “At the end of the day, I get it: I should have been providing attribution for all posts,” Ostrovsky says. “It’s always been important to me. The internet is a vast ocean of stuff, and sometimes it’s hard to find the original source of something. “Instagram started for me as something to connect me with people who were already my fans. But as the stage got larger, the practices being exploited at that time weren’t the right practices for a larger stage.” Ostrovsky’s apology is better than most celebrity mea culpas in that while he does offer some lame excuses for his actions, he also offers a detailed strategy for how he intends to right his wrongs and prevent this sort of thing from ever happening again. Is it wrong to steal someone else’s joke and pass it off as your own? Absolutely. In all cases. But the Internet remains something of a lawless terrain in terms of intellectual property, and the rules of conduct don’t always keep pace with the advances in technology. So if The Fat Jew is willing to spread the message that it’s just not kosher (pun fully intended) to pilfer other people’s work without identifying the origin, and he can make good on his promise to refrain from doing this sort of thing in the future, we say why not give him another chance? After all, the guy knows his way around a witty caption, and unlike other IG celebs (We’re looking at you, Dan Bilzerian .) he at least offers something other than vapid lifestyle porn.
