Arsenio Hall has absolutely gone off on Brian Williams. Not long after Williams broke his silence – appearing opposite Matt Lauer and blaming his ego for the many lies he told as host of NBC Nightly News – Hall went on Twitter and let the reporter have it. “Brian Williams is a LIAR, who betrayed his loyal viewers & attempted to hijack the valor of our brave men & women in the military,” wrote Hall. The comedian also included hashtag “#f*ckhim.” Back in February, NBC suspended Williams for six months after it became clear the anchor misled viewers about the role he played in various Iraq War incidents. On Thursday, it was announced Lester Holt will permanently replace Williams as the head of the NBC Nightly News. Williams has been bumped to covering breaking news for MSNBC. During his TODAY interview, the veteran newsman acknowledged he told “wrong stories” and said he “owns up” to his false statements. Mike Huckabee is standing up for what he believes in, no matter the backlash that has accompanied those beliefs. Earlier this year, the Presidential hopeful took to the stage at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention and made his transgender views very well known. Referring to anyone who believes him or herself to be a member of the opposite gender as a national “threat,” Huckabee then mocked the seriousness of these individuals. On Friday, speaking to radio host Steve Deace, the politician was asked about the comments he made four months ago and whether the media’s focus on Caitlyn Jenner is an example of “misplaced priorities.” Yes, absolutely, Huckabee said, adding: “I take nothing back from that speech. I’m kind of glad it’s posted because people, if they watch the whole clip, what they’re going to see is that I’m giving a commonsense answer to the insanity that’s going on out there.” You can watch the video above for yourself to determine if this is true. “Everybody wants to be politically correct, everybody wants to be loved by the media and loved by the left and loved by the elitists,” the ordained South Baptist minister continued. “I know I’m not going to be, so let’s just get it over with. It’s tragic but true: Amy Schumer will not be the next Bachelorette. But the comedian will happily interrupt your Central Park engagement shoot! The hilarious star was out for a jog in Central Park recently when she literally ran into Joseph Turnage and Brandon Moore, who were posing for a set of engagement pictures. As captured below by photographer Alisha Siegel, Schumer happily jumped in to the frame for one of the shots. Siegel told People that she didn’t recognize Schumer at first: “She took off her sunglasses, we snapped a quick pic, and right after, she says, ‘You guys know I’m like reeeeeeal famous.’ “I take another look it hit me that it was Amy Schumer!” We love it. Yesterday, was Kanye West’s 38th birthday, and dozens gathered to lavish him with expensive crap and tell him how awesome he is. In other words, it was a pretty typical Monday for Yeezy. Kim Kardashian rented out the Staples Center for the occasion; Justin Bieber infuriated the world by proving that he can actually ball; and Kris Jenner came out to show her love and support for her son-in-law. There would be absolutely nothing wrong with that last part, were it not for the fact that Kris skipped her own freakin’ son’s birthday party back in March. Yes, when Rob Kardashian turned 28 , his mom was off partying in Mexico. That’s not a huge deal on its own but Rob is suffering from depression and cripplingly low self-esteem. Kanye is suffering from the exact opposite of depression and low self-esteem and probably didn’t give a diamond-encrusted Yeezy crap that Kris was at his party. Now, Radar Online is reporting that Rob is pissed that his mom gave him the cold shoulder but went all out for the Kanye bash. “The fact that Kris was at Kanye’s birthday party says it all,” says one insider. “She was also super involved in planning the party with Kim. “But for her own son Rob’s birthday, she ditched him to go on vacation with her friends! Rob thinks it is just disgusting and tactless and he was crushed by that.” Many feel the snub was Kris’ way of saying she’s done trying to snap Rob out of his funk. Now, Dennis says he thinks Jenner is breaking down some huge barriers for the LGBTQ community — telling us, “A lot of athletes will come out now and say they’re gay. Watch.” And with Caitlyn saying she’s still trying to figure out her sexual preference, Rodman has a message for the 65-year-old — “ If you wanna go on a date with me brotha, let me know. “ That Kardashian mojo rubbed off well. Last week, Kim Richards ditched rehab to attend her daughters wedding in Mexico, and the trip went about as poorly as could be expected. First, Kim got drunk and acted so belligerently that her daughter won’t talk to her and her sober coach quit on the spot. After that, Richards disappeared , leaving her loved ones wondering if she’d managed to make it back to the US. Now, Radar Online Kim has made it home to LA , but has decided to forgo treatment for her well-documented alcoholism. “Kim came back from Cabo last week but is refusing to go back to rehab,” said one insider. “She suffered a huge relapse at the wedding, and was mixing booze and pills. However, Kim is refusing to go back to rehab.” The source says Kim’s sisters have done everything in their power to convince her to return to treatment, but the 50-year-old Housewife remains firmly in denial. “Both siblings are obviously very concerned about her,” says the source “There is only so much the family can do for Kim, and refusing to get help is a big obstacle.” Obviously, the Richards family’s main concern is for Kim’s health, but there are other reasons for her to return to rehab, as well. Sources familiar with her court case say that Kim lucked out after her April 15 arrest and struck a deal that would allow her to avoid jail time in exchange for completing an addiction treatment program. In the wake of the Josh Duggar sexual abuse scandal , more and more uncomfortable truths about Josh and his family are coming to light. Somehow, they keep getting progressively more disturbing, too. We heard first-hand accounts of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar child abuse in the form of using a “rod” to punish their kids for minor offenses. Shortly thereafter, we learned about the harsh nature of Michelle Duggar’s “blanket training” and other controversial parenting methods. Everyone from former 19 Kids and Counting crew members to fellow residents of Tontitown, Ark., are coming forward with troubling Duggar tales. The latest? Gawker posted several shocking Duggar stories today, several of which involved Jim Bob and his stance on pre-marital sexual activity. His supposedly hard-line, yet often hypocritical stance.
