Tristan Thompson: Here’s Prince on a Yacht, Am I a Good Dad Yet?

Convinced that Khloe Kardashian is out to trash his reputation , Tristan Thompson is desperate for everyone to think he’s a good guy. That’s probably why he keeps posting cute pics of his kids , though most Kardashian fans aren’t buying it. Tristan was at it again this weekend, with a fresh shot of his two-year-old son Prince living it up on a yacht. Prince is a seriousy precious kid, and the cute factor is on full display in Tristan’s new Instagram post. The shot shows Prince grinning excitedly as he lounges on the deck of the yacht, with his hands behind his head. He’s sporting a plaid bathing suit, and his very own personalized bling, a gold necklace with a pendant shaped like the letter P, for Prince. All in all it looks like Prince is having a beautiful sunny day out on the water and frankly it’s hard not to be a little envious. “My little Prince is living life,” said Tristan in the photo’s caption, adding a heart-eyed smiley emoji. And living it well, it seems! We love that Tristan is so obviously overcome by his own kid’s cuteness. And judging from the huge flood of comments that quickly followed the post, fans were feeling the love too. “Awww he’s so cute!!” wrote one commentor. “Omg he’s soooo beautiful,” agreed another, adding a kissy face emoji. “Living the best life!” another comment said.  “This so playa haha,” wrote fellow NBA player Jordan Clarkson. He’s not wrong! Despite only being two, Prince does have an indefinable swagger about him in this shot. Maybe it’s just the chain? Although many users popped in to praise the photo and compliement Prince, there was not a lot of love for Tristan in the comments. Indeed, many of the comments made it plain that fans have not forgiven Tristan for his cheating playboy antics. “We’re still salty about Khloe,” one comment said. “Exactly!” another poster agreed, adding ‘Imagine when his kids grow up and find out how he treated their mums.” Other comments focused on his reputation as a deadbeat dad. “The one time he gets his kid, he posts,” said one comment. You can almost hear the eye roll coming from this user. Another commentor chimed in, “I’m glad to see this photo people commenting you don’t spend time with your son.” Fans also noticed the absence of Tristan’s daughter and Prince’s half-sister True, with several comments wondering why she wasn’t in the pic. It turns out True was exactly where she belongs, spending the weekend at home with her mom, Khloe Kardashian. Khloe’s Instagram story showed an equally adorable video of True splashing around in her blow-up pool over the weekend. It may not be a yacht, but hey maybe next time. We’re pretty sure Khloe could make that happen. Even if Tristan wanted to hang out with Prince and True at the same time, we aren’t sure about the logistics of making it happen. Given their past entanglements, we can’t imagine Khloe collaborating with Jordan Craig to organize that particular play date very often. But we know Prince and True have met before, and we hope that Prince gets plenty more chances to hang out with his sister at some point. Earlier this morning we reported that the Philly rapper inked a joint venture with Jay-Z and Roc Nation for his very own DreamChasers record label. Now, the AP is reporting that the drug and gun conviction that has plagued Meek for over a decade has FINALLY been thrown out! Three judges unanimously agreed that the new evidence in Meek’s case warranted his conviction be tossed a new trial be granted. This is HUGE life-changing news for Meek because it means that if he is found not guilty, he will no longer be under the cynical eye of the probation system and will no longer have to fear going back to prison for something as silly as popping a wheelie on a motor bike. To that end, the court tossed out the “parole violations” handed down by janky judge Genece Brinkley, and in a rare move, removed her from his case entirely. God is good.

Adding insult to injury, Kelly’s crisis manager, Darrell Johnson, pretty much spotted the jig to come and got out of dodge promptly after an interview with CBS News’ Gayle King . CBS News reports : “I step down as crisis manager for personal reasons. Mr. Kelly is in good hands with Mr. Greenberg,” Johnson said, referring to Steve Greenberg, the criminal defense attorney who heads Kelly’s legal team in Chicago. The news come hours after Johnson appeared on “CBS This Morning” and told co-host Gayle King that he would never leave his own daughter alone with an accused pedophile. Pressed on whether he wouldn’t leave his daughter alone with Kelly specifically, Johnson repeated: “I would not leave my daughter with anyone that’s accused of being a pedophile. I would not.” When King pointed out the seeming contradiction of defending Kelly, an accused pedophile, and simultaneously saying he wouldn’t trust his own daughter alone with anyone accused of that crime, Johnson repeated, “I wouldn’t leave my daughter with anyone — I’m going to say it again — that’s accused of being a pedophile.” The fact remains that Johnson was on the payroll defending Kelly so either the money ran out or he spotted an upcoming jig. — Photo: Getty

Source: Derrick Salters/WENN.com / WENN Elizabeth Warren Is Putting Her Plan For Student Loan Debt Into Action As the race heats up between more than a dozen Democratic Presidential candidates, there are certain issues that continue to be brought up time and time again both on the campaign trail and during debates. One of those issues is student loan debt, with the idea of some sort of debt forgiveness being at the top of a lot of a lot of voters’ list. Senator Elizabeth Warren has been vocal about her plan for student loan forgiveness over the past couple of months, but now, she’s really putting that plan into action. The Massachusetts politician introduced a bill on Tuesday that would forgive student loans for tens of millions of Americans, which would mean three-quarters of borrowers would have their balances reset to zero. The Senator first released her plan to do this very thing back in April, but the legislation–which has been dubbed the Student Loan Debt Relief Act–offers new details on how she would go about dismantling the country’s outstanding student debt, which is soon expected to exceed $2 trillion. Under Warren’s newly introduced proposal, borrowers with household incomes under $100,000 would get $50,000 of their student debt completely forgiven. People who earn between $100,000 and $250,000 would be eligible for forgiveness on a sliding scale. And those who earn more than $250,000 would not get any debt relief. For those wondering about the logistics of this whole thing: the degree of debt forgiveness a person receives would be determined by their income in the most recent tax year and the loan cancellations would take about a year from the time the bill is enacted to complete. Though most people crippled by their student loan debt are probably huge fans of this idea, not everyone is on board with completely cancelling out such a tab. Consumer advocacy groups like the National Consumer Law Center came out in support of the plan, saying, “we support bills like the Student Loan Debt Relief Act because it recognizes the enormity of the crisis facing today’s borrowers.” Others oppose the plan, like President and CEO of the Consumer Bankers Association Richard Hunt , who says, “this proposal does nothing to decrease the cost of college and does not help future students.” But all in all, the proposal is popular among voters. In a Politico/Morning Consult  poll , 56% of registered voters said they support the Massachusetts senator’s proposal to cancel outstanding education loans by raising taxes on the wealthiest Americans. Only 27% of voters said they opposed the plan. Catelynn Lowell: I Considered an Abortion When I Was Pregnant With Vaeda

Their trial separation did nothing but prove that Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierre really do love each other . But the time that they spent apart was difficult, especially because Catelynn was pregnant at the time. In fact, she has now come forward to reveal that, while she was pregnant with Vaeda, she contemplated an abortion. On Monday night’s Teen Mom OG , Catelynn spoke very frankly about the difficult decisions that she faced. “There was points I was like, I’m going to f–king move everything and leave and he’s going to come home to nothing,” she tells a producer. That is an understandable an not an uncommon impulse, especially during a trial separation.  “There’s still sometimes where I’m like, man I feel really guilty,” Catelynn confesses. She explains: “I feel guilty for even contemplating aborting Vaeda.” Catelynn then expresses a truly endaring concern — that Vaeda will mystically inherit the knowledge of her mother’s huge decision. “Like,” Catelynn wonders. “Is she going to remember that?” “They say when you’re pregnant, things that you go through in life, things that you say and stuff, they feel and they hear,” she worries. Fortunately, in real life, no — a fetus may experience a wash of adrenaline or certain hormones. It’s not just that complicated thoughts aren’t magically transmitted to one’s womb — a fetus would have no way of understanding the mother’s thoughts. “We were going through so much in our relationship and stuff,” Catelynn says of why she wondered if it was the right time for another child. “I was just like, is it smart to bring a child into this world if me and him aren’t going to be together?” she explains. “I remember talking to him about it, crying,” Catelynn recalls. “Like maybe I should just abort this baby” “And,” she describes. “He was like, ‘No.'” Catelynn is ultimately “glad” she didn’t go through with it, but notes: “at the time, it was a thought in my mind.” Between a heavy conversation during one of their “date nights” and the pregnancy, Tyler says that hew as truly motivated to fix their marriage. “I knew I cannot bring another kid into the world together and not working on these things,” he explains. That is very responsible. He admits that Catelynn considering an abortion had “really freaked me out.” Tyler says that he knew “in my heart, in my spirit” that the two of them would unite and “parent this baby.” Tyler also addressed Catelynn’s concern that Vaeda would somehow “feel” Catelynn’s indecision. “Whatever happened in the womb,” he assures his wife. Tyler continues: “Your love and life and giving it to her is going to outweigh anything that happened the nine months she was growing inside you.” “You’re really strong,” he affirms to the mother of his children. That is really precious and it sounds like exactly the right thing to say. Catelynn really, truly doesn’t need to worry that Vaeda will magically intuit much of anything from her pregnancy. Stress, malnutrition, and drug use can absolutely impact a developing fetus. It doesn’t make the baby born with special adult knowledge. But that’s a fine conversation for Catelynn to have with Vaeda one day. “I wanted to make absolutely sure that your father and I could give you your best chance,” she could tell Vaeda. “We realized that we could,” Catelynn can continue. “So we decided to bring you into the world.” It’s as simple as that. It looks as though Sofia Richie has officially replaced Jordyn Woods as a member of Kylie Jenner’s squad. Obviously, being friends with the world’s youngest “self-made” billionaire comes with some perks — in fact, it pretty much comes with all of the perks. Kylie’s crew is treated to private jet flights to the world’s most exotic locations, where they then boost their social media popularity by lounging in the sun and posing for selfies with the Queen of Instagram herself. Basically, they spend a week chillin’ on the beaches of Cabo San Lucas, and come home to find out they’re more popular than ever, and their sponsored content posts are suddenly worth more than the cars most Americans drive to their crappy office jobs. It’s a sweet gig, is what we’re saying. And Kylie’s most social media-savvy friends know exactly how to take advantage of all this exposure: As you may recall, Sofia Richie posted nude photos during her latest vacay with Kylie. The pics attracted a good deal of attention, and not solely because they depict a famous model lying on a beach without any clothes on. No, the photos were of major interest to Kar-Jenner obsessives because they raised two major questions: 1. By “liking” this pic, is Kylie sending the message that Sofia is the new Jordyn on her squad roster? and … 2. How does Scott Disick feel about his girlfriend displaying her goods on the open market? Well, it seems that while he would have preferred to be present for his girlfriend’s nude tropical romp, Scott takes a refreshingly progressive view on the topic of Sofia’s right to with her body what she pleases: “Scott did have some FOMO when he saw Sofia’s sexy bikini pictures but he did not react the way he would have a few years ago,” a source close to the situation tells Hollywood Life . “The old Scott would have pulled some drama, like running off to Miami with his boys for a big party binge but now, no reaction,” the insider adds. “He just stayed home and hung out with his kids and worked.’ Yes, there was a time when Disick would have gone on a bender just to prove how upset he is about the situation. But apparently, those days are done. At 36, Scott has finally reached the same maturity level as his 20-year-old girlfriend. “It shows how far he’s come and how healthy their relationship is,” the source says. “It’s not codependent at all, more than anything he was just very happy that Sofia was having fun with Kylie and the girls.” And while it must be a little strange to see your much younger girlfriend form a close friendship with the much younger sister of your baby mama, Scott seems to appreciate that forming a bond with Kylie could be huge for Sofia in a number of different ways. “Sofia was thrilled to be invited to Kylie’s girls trip in celebration of her skincare line,” says the insider. “She feels really grateful she’s been able to have the time to relax and unwind with Kylie and it is a great way for the two to reconnect.” Sounds like Jordyn’s loss is definitely Sofia’s gain. NeNe Leakes Locks Horns With Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams

The Real Housewive of Atlanta fans will recall that season 11 did not exactly end peacefully . There’s been a schism between the girls ever since the Bye Wig party erupted into a huge fight. And after a tense reunion on Wednesday, drama addicts can rejoice in the knowledge that the bad blood will carry over to season 12 as well. The occasion was housewife Marlo Hampton’s “I am Her” hair event.  As is often the case on the  Housewives shows, one of the girls holds a promotional event of some kind, and the other cast members show up to give their support. Or at least that’s how it looks on paper. Usually, the event only exists in service of the drama — an upscale backdrop for the girls to trash talk each other while wearing cocktail dresses. That certainly seems to be the case here, as star NeNe Leakes finally reunited with on-screen nemeses Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams. NeNe has been avoiding some of her castmates ever since her epic freakout at the Bye Wig party. As fans will remember, that altercation became fightentingly heated and culminated with NeNe attacking a camera man, who lost part of a tooth. NeNe still has a grudge against Porsha, who instigated that whole fracas by trying to sneak into NeNe’s very off-limits walk-in closet with Kandi Burruss. Nene was also reportedly enraged to learn that Kenya was brought back for another season, after producers fired her for keeping her marriage a secret. Ironically, Kenya might have been kept off the show if NeNe didn’t hate her so much.  Apparently, the beef the two women was too much for Bravo to pass up. Since rejoining the group, Kenya has been going out of her way to find a story line for herself. To that end, she made sure to stir up some trouble at the “I am Her” event on Wednesday too. An inside source tells  RadarOnline that Kenya attempted to crash the party, bringing her own rival line of hair care products. “Kenya was trying to wage a war with Marlo to cause drama,” the source claims. A tacky move to be sure, but it’s sure to make great TV if the cameras were rolling for this event, and we expect that they were. But despite this perfect receipe for another NeNe vs everyone blowout, sources say NeNe was on her best behavior. “There were no confrontations,” the source told  Radar.  “And [NeNe] even said hello to Kenya.” That’s some true progress for NeNe, who recently refused to be filmed in any scenes featuring Kenya or Porsha. With that said, it’s best to keep in mind that we all say hello to people we dislike on a regular basis. Sometimes you have to play nice or not play at all. At some point NeNe will have to swallow her pride and interract with her enemies, or she’ll miss out on a ton of screen time. But sources say she’s not quite there yet with Porsha. “Porsha is the only RHOA who said she is not interested in rekindling a friendship with NeNe at all,” the insider claims. This was plainly evident at the “I am Her” event, where NeNe froze Porsha out and the two girls didn’t acknowledge each other at all. So at the end of the night, an olive branch was offered, but plenty of bad blood lives on. We can’t wait to see how it all goes down on the next season of  Real Housewives of Atlanta .
