We've known for months now that Alaskan Bush People was renewed for Season 10 . Now, we finally have a premiere date — and it's sooner than most fans expected. What's more is that the first-ever teaser trailer for Season 10 is already promising a lot. Take a look: The teaser trailer of course opens with Bear Brown, howling in the wildnerness. Then, among a series of glimpses at the family on their sprawling property, the narration becomes a bit more verbal. “For all of us,” Bam Bam says. “It's really important at this point in life to have our own piece of land.” “What we're doing here is symbolizing the future of the Browns,” he expresses. And there are a lot of things to accomplish. “We're back guys,” family patriarch Billy Brown announces triumphantly. He then lays out what needs to get done — and the timeline in which they have to accomplish their construction. “It's really important each one of the guys,” Billy explains. “They have their houses finished before the snow locks us up.” Building multiple houses in that time frame with a small team? That's no easy feat under the best of circumstances. But as Alaskan Bush People viewers have seen, the family has a lot of experience with construction. At another point, viewers see Gabe Brown give a hard, honest look at his surroundings. “This is going to be a long, hard winter,” he predicts. Gabe is the first to admit: I don't know what to expect.” Fortunately, fans can guess that they'll get more of the Brown Family content that they've been enjoying for years. Other flashes show Ami cradling her grandbaby, so fans who've grown more attached to the family than to their lifestyle will have plenty of good content. Some of the sensational elements that first lured viewers to the show no longer really apply. It's hard to think of people as “roughing it” when they're a family of millionaires on their own 435-acre property. Especially when they also have a mansion in Beverly Hills. And Alaskan Bush People is no longer even filmed in Alaska. But part of the magic of reality television is that people start identifying with these families. Watching them grow and love becomes more important than watching them built a shelter. A number of fans immediately replied to this teaser with questions about Matt. Multiple rumors have alleged that he is feuding with his family — not all of them, necessarily. Possibly only with his father. After handling some sobriety issues late last year, he took some time away from the new homestead. It sounds like he and Billy had some sort of falling out after that. Fans would be delighted to see him — and it may be that the teaser deliberately did not show him. Plenty will tune in just to see how things are with Matt. Season 10 premieres on Sunday, August 4. For obvious family reasons, the Browns have had fewer episodes in recent years. Each season, however short, is a blessing for fans. It's also a blessing for the network — Alaskan Bush People remains hugely popular.

My question, though, is this: What lesson could this possibly teach that Amber could not have learned from her previous criminal history, which included actual time served in jail? Amber had her chance to learn. She apparently didn’t glean much from it. Why throw away another chance on her? Especially because this isn’t about whether or not she deserves the happiness of motherhood or whatever. This is about what is best for baby James, who deserves his best shot in life. Someone who allegedly beats and batters their loved one while that loved one is holding a child is not a fit parent — or a good parent. Sometimes, the best way to escape from vicious cycles that get passed down in families is just to escape from toxic members of the family itself. James deserves a real life in a safe and loving environment. That’s what matters. NO by Hilton Hater I base my answer around this literal question: Should Portwood lose custody of James? As in: Should she permanently lose custody of her very young son? This is not some casual topic about which one should speculate or ruminate based on a few celebrity gossip website headlines. This may seem obvious to state, but it’s a really huge deal to take a child away from his or her biological mother. Such a legal decision can only be made under the most dire or extreme circumstances. My colleagues above all argue that allegedly using a giant sword as part of an attack against one’s significant other, with one’s infant kid very much caught up in the middle, would qualify as dire or extreme . View Poll » Both of these points are relevant when talking about the extreme step of stripping her custody away entirely. Yes, she needs to go to therapy. Yes, she probably needs to go to jail. Yes, she must share custody with Glennon. And, yes, she absolutely needs to be fired from Teen Mom so she no longer faces the pressure of answering to fans or cameramen. I’m by no means advocating to simply shrug off this arrest or the incident that preceded it. I’m simply sharing the compromises available in this situation, the alternative ways in which James can be kept safe… Amber can receive the help she clearly needs… and yet she can do so while remaining an integral part of her son’s life. Because, let’s face it, it’s easy to read a few articles, leap up on to a soapbox and proclaim that Portwood should stay as far away from her kid as possible. But it’s a lot harder to put this opinion into practice — as it should be. There’s a reason why judges are the ones who must make these very difficult decision, not content creators who sit at home all day and think they know best. No offense, fellas. I still love you.
Vivica A. Fox is opening up for the first time about a memorable encounter with Farrah Abraham. It seems the actress and the reality star very nearly came to blows after Farrah's appearance on Fox's short-lived talk show Face the Truth. As you may recall, Farrah submitted to a drug test during her appearance on the show, and … we think it's safe to say she diidn't receive the results she had hoped for. Farrah tested positive for barbiturates, and it's anyone's guess as to how that's possible. We were pretty sure they stopped giving those things out around the time Elvis croaked in that gas station bathroom. Anyway, Farrah claimed the test was fake, and apparently she absolutely lost her sh-t backstage and accused Fox of setting her up. “Farrah, Farrah, Farrah,” Fox said in response to a caller's question. “She was in huge denial to be very honest with you, she was pissed at us. And she thought that we had tainted her drug test,” the actress continued. “I was like, 'Yeah so someone else went and peed in your cup and we just brought it out here.' And so, it was sad.” Meddling with drug tests isn't the sort of activity talk show hosts usually engage in, so Vivica was understandably peeved at the accusation. But as usual, no one was more pissed off than Farrah, who apparently got so pissed she attempted to get physical with Farrah. “And then she said she wanted to fight me so I was like, 'You know I trained for 'Kill Bill' right?'” Fox continued. “[Abraham] tried to knock out a water bottle and her thumb was out with the punch. So bad.” We're 100 percent Team Vivica on this one, but is she aware that Kill Bill came out 16 years ago, and she gets her ass handed to her in her only fight scene? Again, Farrah is wholly ridiculous, but so is that thing where actors think they're badass simply because they once played a badass. Just sayin'. To her credit, Fox ended things on a positive note, saying: “But you know I pray for Farrah and I hope she gets better especially because she's got a young daughter.” We all hope that — but there's really no point in wishing Farrah well. We’re just gonna go right ahead and say this up front: We love and admire you, Tori Roloff. You’ve managed to build a huge Instagram following while remaining upbeat, kind, helpful and, simply put, normal . That’s not easy to do in this day and age. Why did we feel a need to open this post by stating our take on the Little People, Big World star? Because Roloff shared an emotional message on her social media account over the weekend that candidly focused on her second pregnancy… how it compares to her first pregnancy… and what she is struggling with these days, both physically and mentally. “This pregnancy has been a lot harder on me than the last. Don’t get me wrong-I’ve been so lucky… im not sick (anymore) and I haven’t had any complications (thank the lord),” wrote Amy to open her caption to the photo above. Amy and Zach Roloff announced they were expecting again in mid-May. They are already parents to a two-year old named Jackson. And Tori has talked previously about why this pregnancy has been a a challenge . Just a few days ago, Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, shared some unbelievably tragic news: When they went in for the 20 week scan for Joy-Anna’s pregnancy, the doctor couldn’t detect a heartbeat. Miscarriages typically happen during the first trimester, but for some reason, Joy had one halfway through the gestation – and it was clear that she and Austin were absolutely devastated by the news. Thankfully, as they explained in their social media posts about the news, they’ve been able to find some solace in their faith. “Although we don’t understand why,” they wrote, “God has given us unexplainable peace and comfort during this very difficult time.” “Yes, it still hurts and we have cried countless tears, but we know that we can trust the Lord.” They also revealed that during the scan, they learned that they were going to have a daughter , and that they named her Annabell Elise. As for the meaning behind the name choice, they said “Annabell means ‘God has favored me,’ and Elise means ‘God satisfies.'” “What a precious thing to know that when our daughter opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the face of Jesus.” Along with their written post, they also shared a photo of Joy in a hospital bed with Austin comforting her. The next day, they shared even more photos, including some with their late daughter . Those are the ones we’re going to be discussing today. In the caption of the photos, Joy wrote “We only had her for 20 weeks, Life is fragile and precious.” “So thankful the Lord gave her to us for that short time! She will be in our hearts forever!” She also thanked her followers for their love and support, and her best friend, Carlin Bates, “for coming to town to be here for me and for doing my hair and makeup for pictures with our little girl!” They didn’t share a photo of Annabell — the most you can see of her is a hat covering her head as Joy holds her. But because she was in the photos at all, and because of Joy’s comments about having her hair and makeup done, a lot of people are feeling a lot of feelings about all of this. As one of their followers said, “This is a very private moment for y’all to be sharing it … sad. Y’all are different.” “OK, that needed to be a private moment,” another Instagram user agreed. “Not something that you get your hair and makeup done and dress up a miscarriage. We are all praying for you but REALLY. Get real!” One person went a step further, commenting “Honestly it seems a little sadistic to me to have a full on photo shoot with a deceased baby, just for likes on the internet. I could never.” Another particularly insensitive comment read “Hair and makeup to take pics with your dead baby?! Jesus sweetheart your families priorities are disgusting.” These are just a small sampling of the comments on Joy and Austin’s Instagram post, but similar things were said in several places across the internet where the Duggars are discussed. And it’s honestly not OK. The loss that Joy has experienced is huge, and one that not everyone will go through. You can judge the Duggars for all sorts of things, but you can’t judge them for she’s grieving now. It’s not uncommon for people to do photo shoots like these to remember the only time they’ll be able to see and hold their child, and if Joy wanted to look nice for such an unimaginably tragic occasion, what harm does it really do? Besides, so many women have already thanked her for, as they see it, being brave enough to share such personal photos because they too have had similar losses, and it’s nice to know they’re not alone. Some may have a hard time looking at these photos, and that’s understandable. A Lot of People Seem To Think So It seems like the cast of Spider-Man: Far From Home has been on a press tour for months now, so it’s probably just as exciting for them as it is for all of us to be able to say that the film is finally out. The movie’s release kicked off with some midnight showings early Tuesday morning and following that, people rushed to their phones and computers to let off their reviews for one of the most highly-anticipated movies this year. Let’s be honest: this film has some huge shoes to fill in more ways than one. For starters, it’s the follow-up to Avengers: End Game , the second highest grossing film in North America, ever. And if that wasn’t enough pressure, it’s also the movie that has the difficult job of closing out the third phase of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. Not only that, but people REALLY enjoyed both Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse , so whatever way you look at Far From Home , it’s got a whole lot to live up to. Tom Holland reprises his role as Spider-Man as he tries to spend some time with Zendaya’s character MJ while they’re abroad on a school trip. Jake Gyllenhaal also joins the cast to make for a truly star-studded film that will both delight and surprise you throughout the entire two hour runtime. As reviews from critics and those who have some industry connections got to see the film early came in, hype for this movie even more insane in the days leading up to its wide release–But what do the common folk think of the movie?
