Pittsburgh Man Puts Confederate Flag With Black Doll Hung From Noose A Pittsburgh community up in arms because a local put a Confederate flag with a Black baby doll hanging in a noose with a knife in its back. According to WTAE reports: After the photo was shared with Pittsburgh’s Action News 4, we called East Huntingdon Township’s supervisor Paul Hodgkiss. “(I’m) definitely against anything like that in our township,” Hodgkiss said. He said he found out about the display Tuesday afternoon when a man who lives nearby called. Officials in Scottdale Borough said they’ve been hearing about it for months, however it’s outside their jurisdiction. “I just hope he has to take it down,” Szolek said. “That’s all I want, you know. I don’t care, I don’t want him punished. I just want him to take it down so we don’t have to look at it.” Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 reporter Beau Berman knocked on the Porter Avenue home’s door, but no one answered. Thirty minutes later he drove by again but the doll and flag were gone. “It probably is allowed to be there at his property, but if we can do anything to stop it we will,” Hodgkiss said. Township officials said they will meet Wednesday to discuss the situation, however now that the flag is down it remains unclear what action if any they will take. Seriously??!

Sad news out of Detroit today, as the family of hip hop icon Eminem (real name: Marshall Mathers) is mourning one of their own. Dawn Scott – the sister of Mathers’ ex-wife, Kim Scott (later Kim Mathers) – has passed away at the age of 40. In addition to being Mathers’ former sister in law, Dawn was the mother of his adopted daughter, Alaina. A statement from police in Warren, Michigan reveals that Scott appears to have died of a heroin overdose. A toxicology report will likely be released within the next week. Sadly, Scott’s longtime struggle with addiction has been well documented over the years. In August of 2015, Scott gave an interview to Radar Online in which she blamed her sister and famous brother-in-law for refusing to help her get off the streets: “I have a millionaire brother-in-law and a sister with money up the ass, but they’re refusing to give me any help,” Scott said. “It’s a betrayal. He’s been part of our family since he was 15!” Scott said at the time that she’d been homeless since 2014 and had repeatedly asked for help from her more fortunate relatives: “One night I called my sister and told her I had nowhere to go,” Scott claimed. “She said, ‘That’s not my problem. Don’t bother me,’ and hung up.” Scott’s longtime on-again, off-again boyfriend, Les Martin, says the mother of one became increasingly reliant on a number of substances in recent years: “Heroin, cocaine, Adderall. Yandy Smith’s husband took to Instagram today, January 19, to post a final message to fans outside of the federal prison where he’ll spend 8 years behind bars. According to Mendeecees he’s “heartbroken but good” and the drug trafficking he previously did was due to he previously being “young, hungry and close minded.” He also sent a message to dads; “ It truly is FAMILY OVER EVERYTHING!
