Mick Jagger is slamming rumors that he and longtime love L’Wren Scott broke up shortly before the fashion designer tragically took her own life this week. The rocker’s rep was quick to refute this, calling “the story in the New York Post re a split between Mick Jagger and L’Wren Scott is 100 percent untrue.” In the wake of the death of L’Wren Scott , “There is absolutely no basis to this … horrible and inaccurate piece of gossip during this very tragic time for Mick.” Rumors aside, Jagger is taking time to mourn Scott, 47. The Rolling Stones frontman, 70, canceled a Wednesday Rolling Stones concert in Perth, Australia. An insider told celebrity news magazine Us that the rock ‘n roll legend is “terribly devastated,” and “inconsolable” following the death of his love of nearly 13 years. He is making plans to fly back to NYC , where Scott hung herself in her apartment, as soon as possible, and it appears his loved ones are on the same page. Unresponsive following his apparently massive overdose of heroin, he could not be revived. Police called Philip Seymour Hoffman dead at the scene. He was expected to pick up his kids that day but didn’t show up. He and his estranged, longtime partner Mimi O’Donnell had three young children together. Police found nearly 50 envelopes branded “Ace of Spades” filled with what they believe was heroin in the NYC apartment, two law enforcement sources said. Used syringes, prescription drugs and empty bags that authorities suspect were used to hold heroin also were found in the apartment where Hoffman, 46, died. Robert Vineberg, a 57-year-old musician, was among four people arrested in Manhattan in connection with the case in the days after Hoffman’s death. Prosecutors said Vineberg, who was arrested on a felony charge, had 50 small bags of heroin as well as packaging paraphernalia in his apartment during a raid. Vineberg was found to have the actor’s phone number stored in his cell phone and is believed to be connected to the deadly heroin strain that killed Hoffman. Welp… Jury Finds Michael Dunn Guilty Of The Murder Of Jordan Davis Via BayNews9 The Florida jury in the case of Michael Dunn found him guilty on four charges, including three for attempted second-degree murder, but they couldn’t reach a verdict on the most significant charge — first-degree murder in the death of Jordan Davis. After the decisions were read out around 7 p.m. Saturday in court, Judge Russell Healey — who moments before had said that the jury had reached a verdict on all counts — declared a mistrial on the murder count. That possibility had floated around since 4:45 p.m. Saturday, when the 12 jurors sent a note saying they’d decided on four of the five counts that Dunn faces. But they hadn’t unanimously reached a verdict “on count 1 or any of the lesser included offenses related to it.” Count 1 is first-degree murder in the shooting death of 17-year-old Davis. Jurors could have decided not to convict Dunn on that charge but instead find him guilty on lesser charges such as manslaughter. Or they could have acquitted him altogether on this count. With the hung jury, prosecutors could press for a new trial on the murder charge. Regardless — and pending defense appeals — Dunn appears set to face a lengthy prison term. We can’t lie, its great that this azzhole is gonna go to prison for a long time, but the fact that the prosecution couldn’t make the first degree murder charge stick is very, VERY, disappointing.
