Kristen Stewart Amused By ‘Snow White’ Co-Star Charlize Theron

‘I love the effect she has on people,’ KStew tells MTV News. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Charlize Theron in “Snow White and the Huntsman” Photo: Universal Despite their obvious differences both onscreen and off, Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron have formed a bond during the filming of “Snow White and the Huntsman” and even more so during the current press tour in support of the film. When MTV News caught up with Stewart recently, we asked her to compare the familiar scenario of doing interviews with her longtime “Twilight” co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner versus her new castmate, the lovely Ms. Theron. “When Rob, Taylor and I do interviews together, they usually don’t actually ask us anything. We just get to hang out and people like to watch that,” Stewart said with a laugh. “It’s fine, because I like hanging out with those guys, but it is weird. With Charlize, it’s been great, because we’re so proud of the movie and we actually only worked together for three days, so we got to know each other probably more or at least on a certain level during press, and it’s been nice. It’s been fun.” Stewart said she especially admires Theron’s ability to light up a room with her energy and humor. “Some people intimidate you. Some people’s energy is so big you feel like you don’t fit in the room, but with her, I really appreciate how different we are. I love the effect she has on people,” Stewart said. “I find it hilarious. I love watching it happen. I do not have that. Maybe I have something else, but it’s definitely not as visceral. Also, she’s really hilarious,” she added, noting that the Oscar winner uses the more colorful swear words with particular aplomb. “[She] puts me to shame, to be honest,” Stewart said. Kristen Stewart’s Last Day On ‘Breaking Dawn’ Set Was ‘Ridiculous’

‘It was literally perfect,’ the actress deadpans about stepping on a rusty nail on her final day. By Fallon Prinzivalli, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Kristen Stewart in “Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” Photo: Summit This fall’s final installment of “The Twilight Saga” will leave fans feeling bitter-sweet. While excitement bubbles with the anticipation of seeing ” Breaking Dawn – Part 2 ” finally grace the big screen, it wavers a bit with the realization that the cast has put away their golden contacts for good. When MTV News caught up with Kristen Stewart , she told us what her last moments on set were like after filming “Breaking Dawn” reshoots. Keeping true to KStew’s honest nature, it wasn’t filled with teary-eyed goodbyes or a final empowering line from the script. Instead, she injured herself. “The very last thing I did was step on a rusty nail,” she said, “before a big promotional tour, running barefoot through fake woods.” That’s pretty typical Stewart behavior if you ask us. “I know! It was literally perfect,” she continued. “I was like, ‘I need to do this on a ‘Twilight’ set before I had to go wear heels in front of the entire world and have people go, ‘She’s just ridiculous with the heel situation.’ It’s like, ‘No, I promise you I actually hurt myself again!’ ” The filming for both parts of “Breaking Dawn” wrapped back in April 2011, but director Bill Condon revealed reshoots were in store for April 2012. On the film’s official Facebook page he wrote, “Rob [Pattinson] and Kristen will be there too, to pop in those gold contacts one last time.” But with the rest of the cast absent and the glitzy wrap parties over, Stewart said the final filming felt a bit anticlimactic. “I also wasn’t there on the very last day that Bill finished. I think he had a few pick up shots. When they wrapped me and Rob — you know, people clap for the actors when they wrap because they wrap before everyone else — it felt so ridiculous. We were like, ‘Why are you guys clapping right now? Yeah, good on you, too.’ ” she said as she began clapping and mimicking the confused look on her and Rob’s faces. “I came back to set to do the same for Bill,” she continued, “and he was like, ‘I have to come back tomorrow to shoot, like, Volturi feet running through snow.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, damn, bye.’ ” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com . Kristen Stewart Calls ‘Snow White’ Speech ‘So Bravehearty’

‘It’s crazy, but it’s good,’ actress tells MTV News at film’s London premiere. By Fallon Prinzivalli, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Kristen Stewart Photo: MTV News Kristen Stewart is throwing away her damsel-in-distress image and taking up arms against the evil queen, Ravenna (Charlize Theron), in “Snow White and the Huntsman.” In her sword-wielding debut, Stewart leads the fight to reclaim the kingdom from Ravenna, and with that comes an inspiring call to arms. When the actress spoke to MTV News at the London premiere of the upcoming film, she revealed her concerns about pulling off the speech credibly. “We saved it until the very last day, actually,” she said. “We re-wrote it every single day of the shoot. Me and [director] Rupert [Sanders] had it in our back pocket the entire time. Ultimately, I don’t think that it makes a whole lot of sense, but it feels right. Do you know what I mean? It’s very up-in-the-air; it’s very subjective until the very end. Until some — I don’t want to give anything away, but until the very obvious line. It’s so Bravehearty. It’s crazy, but it’s good. It’s good.” Judging by the screaming that greeted Stewart when she hit the red carpet, it doesn’t seem like her fame is about to die down anytime soon, even with “The Twilight Saga” nearing its end. In fact, the actress said that the fans at the “Snow White” premiere reminded her of past “Twilight” crowds. “It feels very similar actually,” she said. “I was expecting it to be — not smaller — just, I didn’t think it would be like this.” And even though Stewart has yet to see boyfriend Robert Pattinson in “Cosmopolis,” she revealed he’s already seen her in action as the revamped Disney princess. “He likes it. He really likes it. It’s cool. It’s good. I’m really proud of it,” she said. As she should be, since the actress’ transformation into a rousing action star makes this film one of the most highly anticipated movies of the summer. So how exactly will she wind down after a successful premiere? In true Kristen Stewart fashion, the actress replied, “I love what I’m wearing, but I’m going to take this thing off, first off. [I’ll] probably get into some jeans.” Audiences can see Stewart don armor and chainmail when “Snow White and the Huntsman” hits theaters June 1. Will ‘Avengers’ Be The Year’s Biggest Blockbuster?

Box-office expert looks at possible competition from ‘Dark Knight Rises,’ ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ and more. By Kara Warner Chris Evans, and Scarlett Johansson in “Avengers” Photo: Marvel Studios Now that so many of us have seen “Marvel’s The Avengers” and helped make it this summer’s box-office blockbuster to beat , it’s time to look ahead at the rest of the season’s cinematic offerings to see which tentpole has the power to compete with Earth’s mightiest heroes. The likeliest contender competing for some of the “Avengers”-size box-office haul is “The Dark Knight Rises,” Christopher Nolan’s dark, brooding, third and supposedly final Batman movie. Other buzz-worthy potential moneymakers to keep an eye on are Ridley Scott’s “Alien”-esque prequel “Prometheus,” Marc Webb’s “The Amazing Spider-Man,” Rupert Sanders’ “Snow White and the Huntsman” and Barry Sonnenfeld’s “Men in Black 3.” To be fair, the “Avengers” haul is going to be very difficult to duplicate, particularly the record-breaking opening-weekend take of $207.1 million, which beat the $169.2 million set by previous champ “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2,” MTV News consulted Boxoffice.com editor Phil Contrino for his wisdom on the subject and to see if any other summer fare has a chance at besting the records set by “Avengers.” “I don’t think anything other than ‘Dark Knight Rises’ can pull it off,” Contrino said. “With ‘Spider-Man,’ every time a franchise is rebooted, it takes a while for the fans to dip their toes in the water and get a feel for it. ‘Spider-Man’ will be the same thing, maybe worse, because it’s so close to the [release] of the original. ‘X-Men: First Class’ and even ‘Batman Begins’ didn’t open to huge numbers, and a lot of people forget that. ‘Prometheus’ is [rated] R. For an R-rated movie to do $200 million would be something really monumental, almost impossible, I think.” Contrino went on to say that “Dark Knight Rises” has a couple of factors that will prevent it from catching “Avengers,” but that it does have a chance of besting the #2 best opening-weekend gross set by “Deathly Hallows, Part 2.” “It’s not in 3-D, so it doesn’t have the bonus financial boost, and it’s not nearly as family-friendly; it’s dark and broody. Disney did a good job of turning ‘Avengers’ into a family-friendly movie. I think that’s ultimately what pushed it as far as it’s gone,” Contrino said. “I don’t see anything else this summer beating it.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Marvel’s The Avengers.” For breaking news and previews of the latest comic book movies — updated around the clock — visit SplashPage.MTV.com . T.I. To Stir Up Trouble On Wednesday’s ‘RapFix Live’!

Rap rookie Tito Lopez will also join Sway at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com. By Rob Markman T.I. Photo: Rahav Segev/ Getty Images It’s time to roll out the royal carpet, because the King is set to make his debut on “RapFix Live.” On Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com, T.I. will sit down with Sway Calloway and chop it up about his upcoming album, Trouble Man. Tip has a grind like no other. Since being released from prison last fall, the Atlanta rapper landed a VH1 reality series with his wife, Tiny, added some new muscle to his Grand Hustle record label, and immediately began recording for his eighth solo album. The street-bred MC, who popularized the term Trap Music, has long promised a return to the T.I. of old. “We got a lot of hot, old-school, vintage T.I. records on there,” he told MTV News during a January interview. “I’m talking like gutter, gangsta, intellectual ignorance, hard-core stadium sh–, but at the same time, we got those over-the-top crossover records as well, big features and whatnot we plan on putting into play.” The fiery lyricist isn’t only concerned with his own music: Earlier this month, prot
