Rap rookie Tito Lopez will also join Sway at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com. By Rob Markman T.I. Photo: Rahav Segev/ Getty Images It’s time to roll out the royal carpet, because the King is set to make his debut on “RapFix Live.” On Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com, T.I. will sit down with Sway Calloway and chop it up about his upcoming album, Trouble Man. Tip has a grind like no other. Since being released from prison last fall, the Atlanta rapper landed a VH1 reality series with his wife, Tiny, added some new muscle to his Grand Hustle record label, and immediately began recording for his eighth solo album. The street-bred MC, who popularized the term Trap Music, has long promised a return to the T.I. of old. “We got a lot of hot, old-school, vintage T.I. records on there,” he told MTV News during a January interview. “I’m talking like gutter, gangsta, intellectual ignorance, hard-core stadium sh–, but at the same time, we got those over-the-top crossover records as well, big features and whatnot we plan on putting into play.” The fiery lyricist isn’t only concerned with his own music: Earlier this month, prot

Kristen Stewart Admits She’s ‘Overtly Aware’ Of Her Insecurities

During ‘MTV First: Snow White and the Huntsman,’ actress confesses, ‘My palms are sweating right now.’ By Fallon Prinzivalli, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Josh Horowitz, Kristen Stewart and Sam Claflin on “MTV First: Snow White and the Huntsman” Photo: MTV News On Tuesday night’s “MTV First: Snow White and the Huntsman,” MTV News’ Josh Horowitz caught up with Kristen Stewart , Chris Hemsworth , Charlize Theron and Sam Claflin to get the juicy details behind their highly anticipated summer flick. The cast was in good spirits as Horowitz took them through a series of rapid-fire questions known as the “Yes/No Show” and Theron joked about how battling her costumes was more difficult than fighting Stewart. But the actors also discussed the more serious topic of insecurities and their perception of beauty. As the underlying message of the film deals with the notion of beauty and outward appearance, Horowitz asked, “[As actors,] are you naturally vain people? Can you look in the mirror and not feel insecure like the rest of us?” He threw the question to Hemsworth, who replied, “I think we all have our insecurities and whatever. Do I like who I see in the mirror? Yeah, I like myself because I feel like I’m a good person, and I think in the film, the Queen is there and obsessed with beauty on the surface. I think the message is it’s what’s underneath that counts and that’s what’s going to survive and conquer at the end of the day.” Hemsworth’s co-star Stewart was thrust into the spotlight upon her unexpected “Twilight Saga” fame. With her privacy invaded and gossip blogs picking apart every outfit and hairstyle choice, you’d think the actress would get wrapped up in her insecurities. But the actress said she’s feels secure in herself and Theron echoed that sentiment: “You are,” the “Young Adult” actress said of Stewart. “I can say that. Seriously, it’s incredible. I never had that at her age.” And while Stewart still gets nervous like the rest of us, she gives credit to her parents for raising her well and teaching her that self-worth doesn’t come from appearances. “I’m still fully and completely overtly aware of my insecurities. My palms are sweating right now,” she said. “I was raised well. My parents are really great. They’ve always told me the right things about how you should feel — I mean, there’s no should. That was the whole thing: ‘Be yourself, baby doll.’ ” Theron chimed in: “And, in a way, the film almost has that because Snow White’s mother basically tells her, ‘What you have here is special and good, and don’t ever lose that.’ And it’s the encouragement of ‘Be a good a person.’ And Ravenna, the evil queen, has a mother that basically tells her the only way you will survive in this world is through beauty and youth. “I think those are the things that guide you in a way, so if you’re being told that, and you go through life having that be the importance of your existence or your success, than that’s what it’s going to be.” In the movie, Ravenna says that men use women and then discard them. Theron said that while those words might not mirror her view on men, it was some of her favorite writing in the script, and she feels the sentiment rings true for a lot of women. “I thought it was incredibly brave, because you’re kind of putting yourself out there to create and say pretty early on in the film that this character is driven by this belief that she has,” she explained. “But I thought it was really truthful for her , and I do think that is the truth for a lot of people. “I think that there will be women who have experienced that sometimes in their life. I don’t think everyone has the same experiences, but I felt like that was very truthful for Ravenna. You know, this idea that at 8, she’s being given to a king, and by 16, she’s already being replaced by somebody else. How can you come from that world and not think that men only use you for a certain period of time and then they’re done with you?” Check out everything we’ve got on “Snow White and the Huntsman.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com . ‘Dancing With The Stars’: Roshon Fegan And Melissa Gilbert Get The Boot

Chris Brown performed on show’s double-elimination night leading into semi-finals. By Kelley L. Carter Roshon Fegan on “Dancing With the Stars” Photo: ABC The “Dancing With the Stars” contestants were warned on Monday night that two couples would be sent packing on Tuesday, but that didn’t make the sting any less bitter. Chris Brown was the night’s performer, and after he ran through a new song from his forthcoming album Turn Up the Music, the remaining celebrities got the bad news. In the end, the first couple to get the boot was Disney star Roshon Fegan and his partner Chelsie Hightower. Fegan smiled through the announcement and said, “I am happy to add ballroom dancing to my super-duper dance moves.” Fegan actually scored pretty well on Monday night, earning 29 out of 30 for his individual performance. The judges told him that watching him perform was like watching a young Mickey Rooney. Fegan’s pleasant reaction to getting sent home was the exact opposite of that by the second celebrity to get the boot: actress Melissa Gilbert, whose dance partner was Maks Chmerkovskiy. She had to wipe tears away after her name was called. It was Gilbert’s 48th birthday, and the moment was emotional. Gilbert landed at the bottom of the leaderboard on Monday’s telecast, with judges telling her that her footwork was spotty. “I can’t even describe what a learning and growing experience this has been. It’s been a real blessing and a joy,” she said upon her departure. “Maks has been amazing. An incredible teacher. An incredible friend.” “DWTS” semi-finals begin next week, with the remaining four celebrities — Donald Driver, Katherine Jenkins, Maria Menounos and William Levy — in the running for the mirrorball trophy.

Charlize Theron Enjoyed ‘Screaming at People’ In ‘Snow White’

‘I screamed so much at people, I tore a stomach muscle,’ she says during ‘MTV First: Snow White and the Huntsman.’ By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh HorowitzKara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Charlize Theron Photo: MTV News If there is one thing you should have learned while watching “MTV First: Snow White and the Huntsman” on Tuesday night, it’s that Oscar-winning thespian Charlize Theron is not only extremely talented and beautiful, but she just seems like a lot of fun, no matter what she’s doing or talking about. Case in point: When Theron was posed a question via Twitter about how much fun she had “diva-ing out” and playing “a bitch for a change,” via her role as Evil Queen Ravenna in “Snow White and the Huntsman.” “What do you mean, ‘for a change’?” she joked. “God, yeah. That’s the tricky thing of the movie: Finding that line that you can walk where you’re not going into camp-ville and you’re also not going into ‘please take me serious Marlon Brando acting-ville.’ I did enjoy just screaming at people,” Theron admitted. “I screamed so much at people, I tore a stomach muscle, which I had never heard of that before. “And then off-set, you can joke about it, because you’re in these costumes. I felt like I was being so high-maintenance: ‘It hurts, oh gosh, I can’t walk to craft service,’ ” she fake-whined. “You become a big pain in the ass. I mean, I’m saying it was the costume. but it really wasn’t. That’s how I behaved.” In addition to channeling her inner diva, Theron said she enjoyed exploring the fantastical elements involved in making a fairy tale. “Of course you have this luxury to then throw back to the fairy tale,” she said. “It’s really huge in scale. This film is epic and big and the characters, what we tried to do was ground it and give it weight and reality, but there is a small part of this film that has to celebrate the fantastical of it.” Stick with MTV News as we roll out more from our exclusive interview with the cast of “Snow White and the Huntsman”! Justin Bieber, Drake ‘Going On The Same Journey’

‘I’m able to tell him how to treat a lady,’ Bieber jokes to MTV News about the MC. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Sway Calloway Justin Bieber and Drake Photo: George Pimentel/Getty Images Justin Bieber and Drake started bubbling to the top of the music-industry surface around the same time. While Drake had already had a career on the small screen on “Degrassi: The Next Generation,” it was his rap game that would solidify him as an international star. Just as Drizzy was trying to carve out his path in the world of hip-hop several years ago, Bieber began posting videos on YouTube under the moniker KidRauhl. Somewhere along the way, the two got famous and became besties. And now, as Bieber nears the June 19 release of his new album, Believe, he explained what it’s like to traverse the sometimes murky waters of celebrity with his friend by his side. “I mean, it’s crazy because we both are kind of going on the same journey on different sides of the world,” the pop star told MTV News. “I think it’s so cool because we kind of both get what each other go through and he’s able to give me different pieces of advice and I’m able to tell him how to treat a lady. I’m just kidding.” While both have gained tons of fame and fortune, back in 2009 the hype around these two Canadians was at a fevered pitch. Bieber was readying the release of his buzzy debut, My World, and Drake was dropping his star-making EP, So Far Gone. While some have come and gone in the years since, the excitement hasn’t quieted down around Bieber and Drake. In fact, as both performers gain more and more momentum in their careers, it seems their friendship has only grown stronger. For Bieber’s next album, the pals decided to take their friendship to the next level with a collaboration . “We talk about everything,” Bieber said of their recording session. “He’s a great guy and super-talented, and his melodies are crazy. When we go into the studio, he’ll go in the booth and he’ll do some melodies and we’ll write. If I’m in the studio there’s not really any time to mess around. It’s always different, but always [there to] get the work done.” Bieber confirmed that the Drake collaboration definitely made the cut and that he’s still working on getting already-recorded collaborations with romantic rival Kanye West , Usher and Taylor Swift on the album as well.
