Kita Makes An Appearance With Her Battery-Operated Boyfriend On “The T.O Show” [VIDEO]

Visit link:

So if last week’s episode of “The T.O Show” wasn’t a big enough introduction of Kita’s “battery operated boyfriend” in which she respectfully named, “Ted”, on this week’s episode we were introduced to Ted’s larger, bigger and more powerful brother/homie/best friend who shall remain nameless.. John Salley made an appearance on this week’s episode and unveiled to the world Kita’s new “toy” (which should have been hidden deep in the darkest corner of her room) and brought it out for everyone to see. After smelling it (GROSS!) he showed it to T.O who’s facial expression was PRICELESS and the jokes wouldn’t end. LOL poor Kita! John Salley’s actual purpose on this week’s episode wasn’t to reveal Kita’s vibrator (believe it or not). He was actually there to talk with T.O about how to expand his career and to host a bikini contest in which T.O was judging and Kita secretly participated in, and won! (And her body is banging by the way!) Kita’s moment of glory didn’t last very long as she was visited by her ex-boyfriend who broke her heart many years ago. Their awkward meeting was only for him to reveal to Kita that he was still in love with her and try to rekindle some old flames. Kita gave him the boot once again because she couldn’t forgive him for his past mistakes and let T.O know that he should keep his nose out of other people’s business. T.O responded with, “You outta be grateful somebody’s trying to love your little ass..” and Kita went home to Ted (just kidding lol) What did you think about this week’s episode of “The T.O Show”? Daft Punk’s ‘Derezzed’ Video Revives The ‘Tron’ Legacy

French electro duo tease their unmasking in just-premiered clip. By James Montgomery Daft Punk’s “Derezzed” music video premieres Photo: Walt Disney Records As if the gigantic electronic pyramid and constantly worn robot helmets weren’t proof enough, I’m beginning to suspect that Daft Punk derive some sort of bizarre pleasure from messing with us. The latest example of this occurred Tuesday (December 7) with the premiere of “Derezzed,” the first single from their much-anticipated “Tron Legacy” soundtrack. As any “Tron”/ Daft Punk obsessive (and they’re basically the same people) will tell you, it not only comes after years of bated-breath waiting, but after October’s premiere of a teaser trailer that pretty much everyone assumed was the actual video for the song anyway. So, right off the bat, Daft Punk have you on the ropes. You probably just finished wrapping your head around the teaser version of “Derezzed,” and now, well, there’s a whole new version to digest. And while I’ll get to the video in a second, it bears mentioning here that the music in the clip is also a bit of a mind-frick, because after telling anyone who would listen that their score to the “Tron” sequel would be a departure from their four-on-the-floor, French house-ified past — mentioning “90-piece orchestras” in interviews about the project — they come right back and hit you with a slab of downright classic Daft Punk: spindly synths and robo voices and piston-pumping backbone and the full nine. The video itself? Well, it’s sure to be a treat for everyone who’s been holding their breath since Daft Punk began working on the score nearly two years ago. It’s a loving nod to the “Tron” past — all retro grids and tracing light cycles, not to mention the sly working of ENCOM into the proceedings — but it also keeps DP obsessives watching until the last possible frame — because it keeps teasing the very real possibility that the French duo may actually be unmasked. Turns out, all we get to see is actress Olivia Wilde. It’s a cruel — if not cunning — trick, and after watching the video time and time again, I get the very real feeling that somewhere, in their robotic headquarters high atop the Parisian sprawl, Daft Punk are laughing. They win again. What did you think of the “Derezzed” video? Share your reviews in the comments! Jay-Z’s ‘On To The Next One’ Is MTV News’ #8 Song Of 2010

Hov’s diabolical Swizz Beatz record (and its snarling video) blaze onto our Top 25 songs of the year. By James Montgomery Jay-Z Photo: Mark Metcalf/ Getty Images Last week, MTV News kicked off our countdown of the Top 25 Songs of 2010 , a list that’s already featured the likes of Rick Ross and Robyn, Lady Gaga and Kanye West , to name just a few. On Monday, we began rolling out our Top 10 — starting with Gaga’s “Telephone” and rolling on to Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie.” Now, we’re set to unveil our pick for #8 … Jay-Z’s “On to the Next One,” a diabolical track that floored pretty much everybody, thanks in no small part to its snarl, its swagger and, yes, its sorta-Satanic video too. First things first: Yes, this song is from an album that came out in 2009. And, yes, it was technically released to radio in December of that same year. No, it didn’t match the chart-topping success of its predecessor, the world-uniting “Empire State of Mind.” In fact, it didn’t even come close. And, frankly, with its leering, inky backbeat and macabre music video, it confounded many of Jay-Z’s most ardent supporters. So why are we still talking about it at the end of 2010? Well, why not ? Because despite everything we just mentioned, and no matter what the detractors had to say, no one can deny the fact that “On to the Next One” is a jaw-dropping piece of work. From Swizz Beatz’s serpentine track — all fits and starts, rewinds and fast forwards (and Justice samples) — to Jay’s deft, defiant wordplay (“N—as want my old sh–/ Buy my old album”) to Sam Brown’s video, which had the world convinced that Jigga was either A) a Satanist, B) a member of the Illuminati, or C) both, there wasn’t a more purposefully diabolical song released by a major-label artist this year. Not even Kanye could match its power, no matter how many King Crimson samples he threw into the mix. Because, like the title implies, “On to the Next One” is Jay-Z distancing himself from the pack, kissing the past (and his critics) goodbye and moving boldly — probably blindly — into the future. He’s over throwbacks and Auto-Tune and Cristal, and you should be, too, mostly because hip-hop needs you to be. He’s not just a rapper, he’s a cultural ambassador … and this song is proof. There’s nothing about it that’s easy to digest, but more often than not, the important songs — the necessary ones — aren’t meant to be swallowed in one sitting. They’re designed to be gnawed on, to agitate and anger and, ultimately, inspire. This is how revolutions begin and pearls are made, after all. Of course, leading a movement can be a messy affair, and Jay caught it from all sides thanks to the video for “On to the Next One,” an arty, black-and-white thing that combined cocksure swagger with images of crucifixes and bullets, Damien Hirst homages and even, perhaps, a baphomet or two. It is not, shall we say, your traditional hip-hop clip, and because of that (months after its release), Jigga was branded all sorts of nasty things, to the point that he felt compelled to address his supposed secret-society leanings on “Free Mason,” a devilish track he cut with Rick Ross . But even then, as he was (in theory) acknowledging the naysayers, he was telling them to f— off too. Take note: He said he was amazing, not a Mason. So hate if you want to. Whisper as loud as you’d like. Jay doesn’t care. With “On to the Next One,” he’s moved beyond your earthly concerns. You can drag your feet if you’d like, but eventually, you’ll be where he’s at. Only, by that time, he’ll be somewhere else entirely. That’s what the greats do, after all: They destroy, they rebuild and then they move on to something completely new. So, in a way, it makes sense that it took nearly a year for everyone to catch on to a song like this. In fact, we’re willing to bet that’s exactly how Jay-Z planned it. Kind of makes you want to invest in some white Louis boat shoes, doesn’t it? Where would you place Jay’s “On to the Next One” among the top songs of 2010? Let us know in the comments! MTV News’ Top 25 Songs of 2010 countdown continues. Make sure to keep checking back to see what song we’ve named #1, and don’t forget to share your picks with us in the comments below! Lady Gaga: From Pop Deity To Human Being, One Reality Show At A Time

Bigger Than the Sound wonders: Is Gaga the most everyman pop star around? By James Montgomery Lady Gaga Photo: Gabriel Bouys/ Getty Images By now, you are probably aware that Lady Gaga is an unstoppable moneymaking machine , an insatiable studio junkie , a high-ranking Polaroid executive , an honorary Hair Wars champion , a burgeoning fashion icon , the next Madonna , more popular than Barack Obama and quite possibly a member of the Illuminati . But, chances are, you didn’t know that she’s also a big fan of A&E’s “Intervention.” Or maybe you did. After all, she tweeted about it Tuesday, calling the show “informational, heartbreaking and inspiring.” And while the idea of Gaga sitting in a hotel room, hair done up in Diet Coke can curlers, cigarette sunglasses still smoldering on the bedside table, watching Allison huff duster (and subsequently walk on sunshine ) is rather amazing, it’s also important too. Because it’s just another step in the latest chapter of her career: her continued transformation from otherworldly pop deity into an actual human being. And perhaps I am reading entirely too much into one simple tweet about a phenomenally addictive reality show (about addiction), but now — more than at any point in her time in the spotlight — Gaga seems determined to be one of us. She chugs beer at baseball games (albeit while wearing a leather jacket and a bikini), crushes BBQ at Boston dive bars and spends her off-days in New York cooking for her dad, drinking and watching episodes of “Cops” (something she made a point of mentioning onstage at her tour kickoff in Montreal ). She spoke openly and frankly about her ex-boyfriend in an interview with Rolling Stone, and her newest song — a piano ballad called “You and I” — seems to be very much about reconciling with him, in perhaps the most un-Gaga setting imaginable: a dark and dirty bar. (It’s also worth noting that the songs sounds a whole lot like a Billy Joel B-side, and who’s more everyman than the Piano Man?) At this point, I don’t know what she could possibly do for an encore — maybe start Tivo-ing “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” or take on a disastrous adjustable-rate mortgage? — but the fact remains that right now, despite all her trappings, Gaga is probably the most openly human pop superstar on the planet (or at least the most open). Can you imagine any of her contemporaries — the Beyonc

Rick Ross On Keeping Number Of Songs On Teflon Don To A Minimum

‘Let’s trim the fat off a little bit and give them some rich street music,’ Ross says of the album, which was released today. By Shaheem Reid Rick Ross Photo: MTV News Rick Ross had a very clear and concise idea of what he wanted to do with his LP Teflon Don . He was inspired in part by some of the all-time classic albums he’s loved throughout his life — Nas’ Illmatic, Bobby Brown’s Don’t Be Cruel, Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Each of those albums kept its track listing at fewer than a dozen songs, but every one of those songs was timeless. When he was done recording Teflon several weeks ago, Ross brought the idea of only having 11 songs on his LP to Island/Def Jam Chairman L.A. Reid. “He was like, ‘It’s gotta be the right 11 records if it’s gonna be 11 records,’ ” Ross recalled. “I said, ‘That’s exactly why I’m doing it. It’s only a few artists that for one, would take that chance when it’s common to do 15, 16. We all know that you don’t like the 15, 16, 17. You really like the dope eight or the dope five. Or dope seven.’ I said, ‘Let’s trim the fat off a little bit and give them some rich street music.’ ” Teflon Don was released Tuesday (July 20), but Ross has been getting a plethora of acclaim since it leaked about a week ago. Songs from the LP that surfaced earlier than that, such as “Tears of Joy,” “Aston Martin Music” and “Maybach Music III,” have also been widely embraced. None has been talked about more than his collaboration with Jay-Z, “Free Mason.” Young Hov tackles the rumors of his allegiance to the Illuminati and Satan, authoring a strong candidate for verse of the year. “I know if I’m on a record with Jay-Z, not only are my rhymes gonna be on point, not only is the flow gonna be intact, but the way I say the words … The title of the record, the meaning of the record, is the title big enough for the expectations of this collaboration? A lot of people were like, ‘Wow, that’s what you gonna title the record?’ I’m like, ‘Why not?’ That’s what hip-hop’s about. Let’s get to the point. It’s so much speculation, so many whispers coming out of the sewers. Why not do a record and call it ‘Free Mason’ and we do what we do on it and they’ll know when they hear it. The title may throw them off, but it’s a good thing. They gotta hear it, and when they listen to it, everything that’s running through their minds, it’ll be answered. That was the whole idea when I brought it to [Jay].” Ross traveled with Jay on some dates on the Blueprint 3 tour several months ago and presented Hov with almost the complete package in hopes of securing a collaboration. “I knew the way to get that was to bring him the idea, my verse, everything, the whole picture in front of him,” the Bawse said. “He was listening to my verse. I said one particular word and when he heard the words ‘free mason’ — at that point we hadn’t titled it — but when he heard it … I saw his facial expression, like, ‘Yeah. I been meaning to [address this].’ When I backed the beat up, he came in and he was so direct. ” ‘N—as couldn’t do nothing with me, so they put the devil on me. …’ I felt it because it’s like when you are that great, and you’re so successful, some people just can’t imagine that. It’s reality. It’s real, people! He was straight to the point, like, ‘Damn. That’s what you gotta say to bring me down now? I’m so successful that you almost gotta credit the devil for this success.’ When you think about it, it’s really sad for the people that think that way. So it was like, ‘Wow.’ I was just happy I had the cojones to come with that idea and say ‘This what it is homie.’ Soon as he heard it, he was like, boom, let’s go in. He got straight to the point and did it in the greatest of ways.” Related Artists Rick Ross (Hip-Hop) Jay-Z

Maryland Citizens Face Felony Charges for Recording Cops

Several Marylanders face felony charges for recording their arrests on camera, and others have been intimidated to shut their cameras off. That's touched off a legal controversy. Mike Hellgren explains the fierce debate and what you should do to protect yourself. A man whose arrest was caught on video faces felony charges from Maryland State Police for recording it on camera. “We are enforcing the law, and we don't make any apologies for that,” said Greg Shipley, MSP. Video of another arrest at the Preakness quickly made its way online, despite an officer issuing this warning to the person who shot it, “Do me a favor and turn that off. It's illegal to videotape anybody's voice or anything else, against the law in the state of Maryland.” But is he right? Can police stop you from recording their actions, like a beating at the University of Maryland College Park? The American Civil Liberties Union says no. “For the government to be saying it has the power to prevent citizens from doing that is profoundly shocking, troubling, and particularly in the case of Maryland, simply flat-out wrong,” said David Roach, ACLU. Under Maryland law, conversations in private cannot be recorded without the consent of both people involved. added by: Omnomynous
