Girl, Bye! April Ryan Rightfully Explains Why She’s No Longer Friends With Political Puppet Omarosa [Video]

April Ryan Talks Ending Omarosa Friendship Once upon a time April Ryan and Omarosa were friends but someone messed that up—guess who? The White House reporter was a guest on “The Real” today Monday, September 24, and she dished ALL about her ex-friendship with Omarosa. According to April, she and Uncle Tomasina  ‘Rosa used to be buddies considering that O was 100% a democrat. That all changed, however, when she suddenly became a part of Trump’s corrupt crew AND told a blatant lie about April that could’ve ruined her. “She said I was taking money from Hillary Clinton which was an all-out lie—that is a career killer!” said April. SMH, you mean to tell us that Omarosa’s a backstabber???? Color us shocked! April’s currently promoting her book “Under Fire” that Loni Love did a dramatic reading of. I Wore Shorts For The First Time In 10 Years And No One Died

Go here to read the rest:

….It might have been longer than ten years, to be honest. It’s been that long that I can’t even remember the last time. I became imprisoned in my body by the false standards of beauty highlighted by Western culture. My thighs have always been thick. Pencil skirts ride up on my hips and my jean shorts and pants always wear in the thigh area. Shorts never have “space” when I wear them. You know what I mean: when you see them in magazines and advertisements and the thighs don’t take up all the space. Jean shorts always look like biker shorts on me. Always. I went to New Orleans and y’all it was hot. It’s been my summer of body liberation, where I’ve decided I’m not hiding parts of my body that I don’t like and rather embracing them. It was too hot for jeans and even too hot for a skirt. My wardrobe was limited because I had only what I packed. I had some Black biker shorts. I took them out of my suitcase and put them on. I had to fight the voice in my head that said, “You’re thighs are too big to wear these shorts.” I put them on and went about my day. …and you know what? Nobody died. Nobody stared. It was about more than wearing shorts. It was about seeing myself as beautiful and challenging the world to meet me where I am at, vs the reverse. It was about all the women who enslave themselves to a mirror based on the ideals of men and society. There is a dangerous privilege within the plus size and body positive community where we praise and uplift specific bodies within our community. You can be fat, but only with a flat stomach. Thicc is only defined as hourglass. Yes to being a size 18, but you better not display any cellulite. If your arms are heavy, you are imprisoned to 3/4th’s tops. To me, this is equally dangering to the female psyche as feminism can be to Black women due to the divide. Body liberation is a process and one that I have spent the summer diligently working toward. I’m working towards being a woman made woman vs a man-made woman. And it started with shorts. Travis Scott: Stormi Is Learning How to Walk!!

21-year-old Kylie Jenner just tried cereal with milk for the first time , but she’s not the only one in the family hitting new milestones. Baby Stormi is days away from being 8 months old, and she will soon be learning to walk . But you don’t have to take our word for it — just look at what her father shared on social media. Travis Scott was gushing with fatherly pride as he shared an image of baby Stormi Webster standing up — with assistance. “We about to be walking soon,” Travis scrawled across the image. He’s right — she’s at the right age, and she’s clearly practicing with her leg muscles. “OG 3s,” Travis added. “I see u mama.” Stormi is, of course, sporting some fancy looking baby shoes. She is too cute for words. Travis isn’t the only one of Stormi’s parents whose love for her overflows onto social media. Kylie recently shared a glimpse of Stormi standing — again, with assistance, but it’s very healthy exercise for her baby legs. In the video, Stormi’s legs flex as she instinctively dances to music. Kylie captioned the video: “love you so much it hurts.” You don’t need to feel that powerful rush of oxytocin yourself in order to know that Kylie means it. Last month, Kylie Jenner gushed about Travis’ parenting skills in a Vogue Australia interview that she gave to her sister, Kendall. “I love learning together,” Kylie said. “And just watching him with her.” Becoming a new parent can be a major challenge, but it helps if you have a good grasp of right and wrong, a lot of patience, and solid parenting instincts. And Kylie cannot stop talking about how wonderful Travis is with their daughter. “He’s so good with her and she’s really obsessed with him,” she reveals. So cute! Kylie has also spoken about how Stormi has transformed her. “I feel like having a daughter, and thinking about beauty in the future, has definitely changed me,” Kylie admits. That’s a big deal on a personal level — but a bigger deal for the world’s foremost influencer who is also a makeup mogul. Kylie continues: “And I feel like it has made me love myself more and accept everything about me.” That sounds really beautiful and healthy, even if some cannot help but wonder if part of that has been Kylie growing up and becoming more mature. She’s 21 now, after all. It is really no surprise that Kylie is a doting, affectionate mother. Kylie has always — unlike some of her siblings — been a nurturing individual towards her pets. That can be a great sign that someone has a lot of love to give as a parent. We just hope that Kylie is bracing herself for the “terrible twos.” It is also no surprise that Travis Scott is a great dad. Contrary to some baseless claims that he was going to be a total deadbeat, we learned last February 4 that he went to countless appointments and checkups with Kylie throughout her pregnancy. Whatever the future of Kylie and Travis’ relationship, it is clear that Stormi is at the center of their lives and foremost in their thoughts — right where she belongs. Following the heartfelt ceremony, Shawty Lo’s hearse took a stop at a location the fallen rapper’s most frequented hangout – the strip club. Yes, you read that right. Shawty Lo’s casket made a quick stop at Blue Flame Lounge, which was said to be one of Shawty’s favorite strip clubs in Atlanta. The Shade Room caught some footage of the visit: Shawty Lo was killed in a fiery crash on Atlanta’s I-285 highway. The cause of death was revealed to be “blunt force injury to the head,” the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed on Thursday. According to Atlanta Journal-Constitution, it was not immediately clear if alcohol was a factor in the crash. Ain’t Over: Teyana Taylor Further Explains Why She Booted Jeremih From Her Tour

Dave Bedrosian/Future Image/WENN.com/Judy Eddy/WENN.com Teyana Taylor Explains Kicking Jeremih Off Her Tour Teyana Taylor still isn’t done calling out “lazy, sneaky, conniving” Jeremih. As previously reported Teyana went toe to toe with Jeremih after they butted heads on the “Later That Night” tour before Teyana unceremoniously booted him off it. Now Teyana’s speaking out on “The Real” and telling the hosts that she has no regrets about what she did, considering that Jeremih “tried to play her.” “We were both on tour together and I was doing everything, the promotion,” said Taylor. “And he did little to none like any promo, so it was just like, when we got there and the concerts were sold out and different things like that. It was like when we got there, everything was Jeremih. His name was on everything, like, my name wasn’t even on the ticket.” Not only that Jeremih refereed to her as his “opener” on the tour, even though it was a co-headlining effort. “I’m working my behind off and you call me your opener during one of the shows but then go on radio and say, ‘But I got love for her, you know, it’s all love,’ and try to make it seem like you’re taking the high road,” she explained. “It’s like no because if you had love for me, you would have never tried to play me live.” Bye Jeremih! Teyana’s continuing to tour solo on her “Keep That Same Energy” tour.

Lil Wayne Now Owns Young Money Entirely, Talks ‘Tha Carter V’ & More

Source: Jessica Alexander/Future Image/WENN.com / WENN Lil Wayne has a recording artist since he was a boy and now approaching the age 36, he has done just about everything there is to do within the recording industry. Now back in full control of his Young Money music imprint, the Lousiana artist revealed the long path to releasing his long-awaited Tha Carter V album and much more. In a sit down with Billboard , the artist born Dwayne Michael Carter shared some insight about his creative process and isn’t putting too much pressure on himself as it relates to Tha Carter V . As it stands, Weezy F. Baby has finally settled into his status in the game but also approaches his craft with a measured sense of carefulness. A lot is riding on his upcoming album, which is anticipated to drop this year. In the chat, Wayne dropped several thoughts, such as being inspired by his four children as he and his former business partner and father figure Bryan “Birdman” Williams engaged in a years-long legal battle while trying to patch up their longstanding connection damaged by their fallout. While he said that he and Birdman do speak, mostly about sports, he’s keeping his distance as he focuses on tightening up his album. From Billboard : Wayne and Birdman are back to talking every day, usually about the Red Sox. But Wayne is less trusting and focused on his album. “Not even just with him, but my relationships with a lot of people have become different, just because of how different I work now,” he says. “I’m submerged in everything about myself, trying to be better at who I am. It’s something where you have to cut some things off.” Four months ago, Wayne moved into this new space, with the skate park and ESPN playing on mute around the clock in the recording studio. Soon after, he injured his heel, which kept him off his board for a month and forced him into the studio full time. It was, he says, “God telling me, ‘You have to go to work, bro.’” After experiencing a series of widely reported seizures between 2013 and 2017, Wayne has cut his marathon recording sessions from what he says were 26-hour runs down to “12 or 14” hours. “That’s the main thing that friends and family and the doc and all them recommend,” he says. “Just get you some rest.” Read more from Billboard here . — Photo: WENN

Michael B. Jordan Could Be The First Black Superman

Say What? Michael B. Jordan Could Play Superman, But Some Black People Aren’t For It

Read the original here:

Source: Imeh Akpanudosen / Getty On Wednesday, superhero fans were left lost and confused when The Hollywood Reporter revealed Henry Cavill might not reprise his role as Superman. Sources told the publication that Warner Bros. is shifting its focus to a Supergirl movie and if the studio were to make another solo Superman movie, it wouldn’t be until another couple years. This leaves the door wide open for another star to sport the red cape. Deadline reports that Michael B. Jordan is in consideration, so obviously the Internet went nuts. Of course, you had your usual racists… Why is Michael B Jordan gonna be fucking superman. What. The. Fuck. “Why you gotta white wash everything” well why you fucking black staining everything. I'd love to see someone make a movie about MLK with a white guy. Let's see how much they fucking enjoy that. — (@Shrimp_Senpai) September 12, 2018 Then of course, there were a large group of people who loved the idea… I hope Michael B. Jordan takes over the role of Superman because (1) He's a great actor and (2) I'm really looking forward to white dudes melting down because a black guy plays a fictional alien who is white in the comics. — Jon (@JonFTOS) September 12, 2018 Michael B. Jordan as Superman with Zendaya aa Lois Lane. Black fucking excellence lol. — #BravesFam (@IceT_J) September 12, 2018 But there’s also a growing group on Twitter that’s not excited about Michael B. playing the Man of Steel — and they’re not your typical White racists either. It’s a group of Black people. im all for black actors getting huge roles….. but michael b jordan as superman is a no from me. — EaZy (@Jmpoint0) September 12, 2018 Michael B Jordan For The New Superman !?? MBJ Is The Man !! No Movie That He Is In That I Would No Watch..But I Don’t Feel This Lol — Da Boah Ace (@ace_gametime215) September 12, 2018 Michael B Jordan would be horrible as Superman. I’m with the racists on this one… — shawty merlot (@whutdapeck) September 12, 2018 I have some theories as to why some Black people don’t want Michael B. Jordan — and it’s not necessarily because they don’t want a Black man in the role. There’s a whole list of roles Michael B. could take from White actors that you can check out here . Race is not the issue. The argument comes down to acting ability, public persona, and reinventing a character that most people have known since childhood. Let’s start with acting ability. A fair share of Black people go through life not liking Michael B. Jordan’s acting. While I definitely think he shined in shows like The Wire and movies like Fruitvale Station,  his recent work has drawn criticism from a few. Michael B. Jordan’s Killmonger was laughable, now they wanna make him Superman? — dio brando (@BleakSuperior) September 12, 2018 michael b jordan as superman would be fucking great but tbh im not a 100% convinced hes that good of an actor to be pulling off an iconic role like that — boo boo the whore (@mycatisgod) September 12, 2018 His role as Killmonger in Black Panther and as Adonis Creed in Creed definitely brought the macho bravado that was necessary for the roles. But Superman has a history of being a little more subtle with his emotions. Can Michael B. go from the raw rage of Killmonger to the quiet storm of Kal-El? Then there’s the issue of public persona. Superman flicks are famous for turning relatively unknown actors into stars. Christopher Reeve  only had one movie under his belt before he took on The Man of Steel in 1978. Now his interpretation of the character is iconic. Henry Cavill was also relatively unknown before he starred in 2013’s Man of Steel,  and now many people are crying because he won’t return to the character in the future. Meanwhile, Michael B. Jordan’s star status has been solidified for a while. He’s a bonafide  sex symbol , movie star, and he even does work behind the scenes.  The mystique of Superman could be lost if a major figure like him takes on the role. I’m ok with DC considering a black role change but Michael B. Jordan as Superman would be awful. He’s not the only young black actor out there. — J. Walk (@Jwalk35_) September 12, 2018 Finally, let’s talk about reinvention. Michael B. could very well be perfect for Superman, or he can train himself to fit the role just right. But will he bring anything new to the character? Of course, being a Black man alone would bring something new, but how so? Do we want a mini-dreads, angry Black man Superman, similar to Michael B.’s character in Black Panther?  Do we want a calm, diplomatic, “everyday man” kind of superhero? Or do we want a Black straight Superman at all? Why not a Black Superwoman or a Black queer Super-person? Some of the most interesting Superman stories were the ones that flip the character’s world on its head. I’m thinking of series like All Star Superman or Superman: Red Son . With the next Superman movie, we can cast another Black person completely to play The Man of Steel — someone we might not expect, like Jovan Adepo or Trevante Rhodes .  Or we can stick with Michael B. and he’ll give us a Man of Steel, and a Michael B. we’ve never witnessed before. The idea could be scary and radical, but one thing’s for certain. All of the world will be on the edge of their seats waiting.

Say What? Michael B. Jordan Could Play Superman, But Some Black People Aren’t For It
