Madonna Is Ready For Some Football In ‘Luvin’ Teaser

Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. open 60-second ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ ‘ video preview, which premiered on ‘American Idol.’ By Adam Graham Madonna Photo: Theo Wargo/Getty Images Madonna definitely has football on her mind — not only for her upcoming performance at Sunday’s Super Bowl , but also in the video for her new single “Give Me All Your Luvin’.” A 60-second preview of the video, which premiered on Thursday’s (February 2) “American Idol,” opens with the track’s guest stars, M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj, dressed in cheerleader uniforms and spelling out “L-U-V Madonna! Y-O-U, you wanna?” Madonna then appears, kicking down the door of a suburban home, clad in a long rain coat, sunglasses and fingerless gloves, pushing a baby stroller. She turns onto the street where Nicki — who appears to have Adidas logos covering her breasts — and M.I.A. are waiting for her along with a team of cheerleaders. As Madonna prances down the street, a football player appears and barrels through a street-hazard marker in her way. A phalanx of football players then appear with umbrellas, shielding her from what looks like a storm of acid rain, and lay down their coats for her on the sidewalk as she struts in the slinky black outfit she had on underneath her coat. They’ll do anything to make sure her path is clear, even tearing apart a taxicab that’s in her way. She leans back and lets them lift her above their heads, and they prop her up against a wall that she appears to walk along sideways. The suburban football scenes are cut against flashes of Madonna, an oversize cross around her neck, performing and shaking her booty in front of a brick wall, lit by a spotlight. The video, for the first single from Madonna’s upcoming M.D.N.A., was directed by Megaforce , who has helmed videos for Kid Cudi, Two Door Cinema Club and more. Uh-ohhhh, Kola Boof might lose her husband-fawking mind if THIS goes down! The world may yet see photographs — and even video — of a dead Osama Bin Laden. The conservative group Judicial Watch has sued for release of the materials under Freedom of Information Law, and they apparently have a case, The Atlantic Wire reports. Former Justice Department privacy official Dan Metcalfe told the Website that a government brief in the case effectively concedes “portions of the records that are legally required to be disclosed.” That could mean redacting portions of the images that show U.S. military personnel or technology, but not the slain terror leader, according to the report. The CIA has argued that such a disclosure would “trigger violence” around the globe, Wired.com reported. After offing the terror leader in Pakistan last May with a “double tap” of gunshots to the torso and head, Navy SEALs snapped pictures of his corpse to show they got their man. The Obama Administration nixed conspiracy theories by showing them to a select group of lawmakers, who agreed that the “gruesome” photographs proved Bin Laden’s death beyond a shadow of a doubt. Britney Spears Has ‘Crazy’ Cameo On will.i.am’s Album?

Black Eyed Peas mastermind teases a collabo with the pop princess on #willpower, set for 2012 release. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears Photo: Max Morse/Getty Images In a sea of A-list contributions for will.i.am’s forthcoming solo album, the Black Eyed Peas mastermind recently dropped one name that will really get pop fans excited. Speaking with Capital FM , will teased that his Femme Fatale collaborator Britney Spears will make an appearance on the album, dubbed #willpower. “I have a song with Alicia Keys — me, Alicia and Swedish House Mafia. I have a song with the Beats, which is pretty grand. Me and Shakira have been trying to finish the stuff we started, and me and Britney is really crazy,” he said. “So we got a song with me, LMFAO and Eva Simons, a song with me and Busta Rhymes and Swizz Beatz — I got a whole other bunch of collaborations.” Spears and will.i.am last worked together on “Big Fat Bass,” a spacey, grinding party tune complete with clapping noises and some rapping from will himself. Their recording session was featured on the MTV special “I Am the Femme Fatale.” There’s been no word yet from will’s camp about the song and whether this is a new track or if he will be including “Big Fat Bass” on the album. The rapper/producer’s love for Brit is hardly anything new: He gushed to MTV News about the pop princess months after they recorded together. “[I discovered] her love for music. I never seen anyone, like, come alive, full of excitement and giggling and laughing behind the mic,” will recalled to MTV News. “She was like a little kid when she was recording the song, and it just brought the whole atmosphere, it changed the whole atmosphere when someone really loves music. So it was great working with her.” His latest single, “T.H.E (The Hardest Ever),” featuring Jennifer Lopez and Mick Jagger, dropped late last year. #willpower, which also features “X Factor” judge Nicole Scherzinger, will be released later this year. Demi Moore ‘Breakdown Isn’t Surprising,’ Expert Says

One celebrity watcher weighs in on the actress’ latest personal woes. By Jocelyn Vena Demi Moore in September Photo: Jason Kempin/Getty Images As more details about Demi Moore’s recent hospitalization emerge, celebrity watchers are getting an inside look at the actress’ personal life since her split with Ashton Kutcher in November. While some revelations may seem too personal, one expert told MTV News this sort of nothing’s-off-limits coverage comes with the territory. “When you’re a celebrity, it’s open season for the press to scrutinize every aspect of your life, specifically your personal life. Most celebrities are used to being under the microscope like this, but when the scrutiny involves their personal relationships, especially a split, everything is magnified,” celebrity magazine editor David Caplan told MTV News on Friday, just as the 911 call from the night of her health scare hit the Web. “The scrutiny, the press coverage … can be very stressful for a celebrity, because the majority of the information being disseminated about the relationship and the split in the press is often highly critical of the celebrity,” he added. When one bit of bad news — like a divorce or substance abuse — comes to light, the media has a field day trying to uncover even more dirt. “As the press seeks to explain why the split occurred, skeletons in a stars’ closet are revealed, and demons are revealed. In the case of Demi and Ashton , she was basically humiliated since it came to light that Ashton was blatantly cheating on Demi, with younger women, making Demi look like she was manipulated in the relationship — let alone reports claiming they had an open marriage,” Caplan said. “Once this was revealed, the floodgates were open and stories emerged of Demi’s alleged low self-esteem, how her partying put strain on the marriage and other aspects about her life. For someone who already seems to be on an emotional roller coaster, this doesn’t bode well for Demi’s mental health and well-being.” As the Demi story continues to hold the public’s interest, expect the focus to also fall on her famous ex. “It’s also exacerbated by the fact that Ashton seems to be going on with his life and enjoying himself,” Caplan noted. “Combining all this together takes such a mental toll, a breakdown isn’t surprising.” Related Photos Demi Moore Through The Years

Justin Bieber Fans Prepping Charity Single In His Honor

Benett/Getty Images Justin Bieber ‘s fans are working to give back the same way the pop star readily does. Several of Bieber’s biggest fan groups, as well as the nonprofit Together We Rise and Brush Buddies (the makers behind the singing Bieber toothbrush), have all teamed up to work on a charity single. “They’re all working on pieces of the video and the lyrics. Right now, they’re putting together videos and thank-you’s.’ We’re working on the back end,” Danny Mendoza, President/CEO of Together We Rise, which focuses on helping foster children in the U.S, told MTV News about the project. “It started with a young lady named Vivian, she runs the Justin Crew fan club and she approached it on Twitter. She approached it and she had a lot of fan support,” he continued. “She took it upon herself to take a leadership role, and then she contacted me because she needed some guidance. We just decided we’ll help you do it. Justin Bieber had tweeted about us in the past and helped us get some recognition, so it was a thank-you to him as well. Proceeds from the song will go toward Bieber’s Believe charity drive . It will drop in March, just in time for his 18th birthday on March 1. “I’m almost 100 percent positive that they know,” Mendoza said of Bieber’s camp’s knowledge of the project. “Justin Bieber inspired a lot of young people to give back. It’s a thank-you for helping us and we want to give back in your honor.” Bieber is certainly not a newbie to the world of charity. Mendoza said that having a pop star like Bieber being so socially conscious has been incredible for the charities he helps bring attention to. “He definitely has the right people around him … They made it a priority that giving back is more. I think his relationship with [his manager Scooter Braun’s brother] Adam Braun and his charity [ Pencils of Promise ], he was able to see hands on a lot of it.” After Bieber tweeted this week about the Trillium Gift of Life Network, the Ontario-based organ donation network has seen registrations skyrocket to more than 1,200 people, four times the amount the network usually receives. Madonna Made ‘Magic’ With William Orbit On M.D.N.A.

Singer told MTV News she and her Ray of Light producer ‘finish each other’s sentences.’ By Jocelyn Vena Madonna Photo: Theo Wargo/Getty Images Madonna is readying the release of her album M.D.N.A., and for it she headed back into the studio with a familiar face. She hooked up once again with producer William Orbit, who worked on a number of tracks on the album, including her Golden Globe Award-winning “Masterpiece.” The relationship between Madonna and Orbit has been a fruitful one. He produced most of the songs on 1998’s Ray of Light, including “Ray of Light,” “Nothing Really Matters,” “Frozen” and “The Power of Good-bye.” The album later won several Grammy Awards and VMAs. Their work together didn’t end there. One year later, they produced Madge’s “Austin Powers” soundtrack song, “Beautiful Stranger,” which nabbed a Grammy Award in 2000. In the years since, she worked with Orbit on several unreleased tracks. So, when it came to their latest collaboration, words weren’t needed. “With William, I didn’t really have a discussion,” she told MTV News at the New York premiere of “W.E.” “We’ve worked on stuff for so many years that we kind of finish each other’s sentences. He knows my taste and what I like.” With “Masterpiece” serving as a tease, the singer later added, “Magic happens when we get into a recording studio together.” As fans prep for the release of her studio album, they can look forward to her halftime Super Bowl performance and her video for the Martin Solveig-produced “Gimme All Your Luvin” (which also features Nicki Minaj and M.I.A.). Common Brings ‘LUV’ To Sundance

By Josh Wigler, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Common at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival Photo: Jemal Countess/Getty Images PARK CITY, Utah — When you’re making your debut as a producer and lead actor in a feature film, it doesn’t hurt to surround yourself with stellar actors like Danny Glover, Charles S. Dutton, Dennis Haysbert and Michael K. Williams. With talent like that on your side, it’s nearly impossible not to produce good work. That’s Common ‘s hope, at least. The rapper/actor makes his first turn as a leading man in a feature film in “LUV,” the Sundance Film Festival drama about an ex-con who leaves prison and strives to mentor his troubled nephew upon release. The film represents a lot of firsts for Common: It’s his first starring role and it’s the first movie he’s ever acted in and produced to appear at Sundance. “This is something that is me,” Common told MTV News at the fest. “And it’s a part of what I want to do pushing forward with Common as an actor and as a producer.” The Chicago MC is no stranger to appearing onscreen, of course. He’s had memorable roles in movies like “Wanted” and “Terminator Salvation,” and he stars on the AMC western “Hell on Wheels.” But this is Common’s first time in an independent movie, and the differences between the indie world and the studio system became abundantly clear to him very early on. “Things are just different. But what’s still cool about it is you’re really using your artistic creativity to come together and make the best thing, because you don’t have that many resources,” he said. “You don’t have the bigger budgets, you don’t have the things that [studio films have]. You need to use total creativity to make things rise. “So this is a first for me — and it’s a great first,” he added.
