Beyonce’s baby bump hadn’t been a matter of public knowledge for 30 minutes before it popped up on Twitter. This one sounds interesting: Chelsea Handler lived up to her party-girl reputation at a summer bash for her hotelier boyfriend, Andre Balazs, when she was escorted out of the men’s bathroom at the Frying Pan by bar security. Handler attended the party for Standard Hotel employees on the restored boat in the Hudson River, docked north of Chelsea Piers, with Balazs on Monday. But sources at the event say a bouncer caught her and “a dude with gold shoes” in a stall in the men’s bathroom and ushered them both out. A spy said Handler started her night out with vodka on the rocks and was “totally cool and unassuming.” But things apparently got wilder later in the evening. Balazs, who has also been linked to Uma Thurman, Renée Zellweger and Naomi Campbell, has a thing for bad girls, and romanced rocker Courtney Love before hooking up with Handler. Handler’s rep, Stephen Huvane, who initially denied that Handler attended the Balazs party even though she was pictured there, said, “She was at the employee party but not at the Standard. If anyone in the history of the justice system deserves the death penalty it’s this guy. A 30-year-old Thibodaux man accused of decapitating and dismembering his 7-year-old disabled son was indicted by a Lafourche Parish grand jury Friday morning. Jeremiah Wright, 30, is accused of killing Jori Lirette more than a week ago inside the West Seventh Street home the pair shared with Jesslyn Lirette, the boy’s mother. Wright confessed to investigators shortly after the boy’s head was found on the side of the road by a passing driver, police said. The grand jury’s decision means that Wright will stand trial for first-degree murder. If convicted, Wright faces mandatory life in prison and is eligible for the death penalty. The grand jury presented its findings to District Judge Jerome Barbera after a two-hour session in which prosecutors outlined the evidence compiled so far. The grand jury meets behind closed doors and decides whether enough evidence exists to prosecute, but the indictment does not indicate guilt or innocence. Wright’s re-arraignment is set for 9 a.m. Monday in District Judge Hugh Larose’s courtroom. He remains in isolation at the Lafourche Parish jail. His bond is $5 million. The stunning 36-year-old Oscar winning star is keen to start a family and doesn’t want to wait any longer to become a mother. Charlize — who is currently single after separating from actor Ryan Reynolds in August after a brief two-month romance — told Germany’s In Touch magazine: “I want a baby. If it would happen tomorrow I would still be very happy about it.” Charlize is also open to the idea of adopting a child and thinks she good provide a wonderful home to a disadvantaged youngster. When asked if she would consider adoption, she said: “Why not? I don’t know that he grasps what it took to get us here.” Parker acknowledges that her childhood left her with money anxieties and that she’s eager to capitalize on her earning power. “I have a lot of responsibilities outside myself. I have a large family. I want to know I can always be helpful. I guess I worry.” On tying with Angelina Jolie for the top spot on Forbes’ list of highest-earning actresses. “Where do they get these numbers? I didn’t plot a future like this, although I know some people do. When Matthew and I started working, all we knew is that we wanted to be great actors. I don’t think I ever thought about money or that people would know my name. I loooove the work! When I was a little girl getting free lunches in Cincinnati, could I imagine being on a list in Forbes magazine?” On the difficulty of balancing career and motherhood. “We’ve had two occasions recently where both Matthew and I were working, and it was so hard on the kids. Especially James Wilkie, because he can really articulate how he feels about our absence. On the other hand, there are big chunks of time when we’re home a lot more than conventionally working parents. So you hope to make up for it.” On fraternal twins Loretta and Tabitha. “They’re talking, they’re running, they need me. Loretta is deeply inquisitive: ‘Do you see that, do you hear that, Mama?’ She constantly checks that we are connecting with her.” Her sister is the family princess: “Tabitha does not give; she receives.” Babysitters? Yes. Live-in help? Not for them. “We love closing the door and having the only people in the house be our three children and us. It’s such a good feeling to know that we’re competent and capable and that it’s private.” On the things Broderick has helped her appreciate after nearly 20 years together.
