Ray Lewis should not expect a retirement muffin basket from Anna Burns Welker. Following her husband’s defeat yesterday at the hands of Lewis and the Baltimore Ravens, Mrs. Welker took to Twitter and tore apart the future Hall of Famer, writing of the linebacker: “Proud of my husband and the Pats. By the way, if anyone is bored, please go to Ray Lewis’ Wikipedia page. 6 kids 4 wives. Acquitted for murder. Paid a family off. Yay. What a hall of fame player! A true role model!” Welker is referring to the fact that Lewis has six children by four different woman – and was charged with murder in 2000 for his role in a stabbing that resulted in two dead bodies. As part of a plea deal, however, the charge was dropped and Lewis did not spend any time in jail. Ironically, following New England’s loss in last year’s big game, Tom Brady’s wife (Giselle… something or other) tore into Wes Welker for his dropping of a key four quarter pass. Simply put, Kelly Clarkson owned today’s Presidential Inauguration. The former American Idol champion impressed anyone with a pulse via her rendition of ” My Country Tis of Thee ” and, at one point during her performance, was photobombed by Bill Clinton. No… really! See for yourself: Granted, the ex-President might not really be going for a photobomb here. But can we all pretend like he is? Elsewhere, Clarkson caught up with fellow Inauguration performer Beyonce backstage, catching the moment on Twitter and writing as a caption: “Me and B just hangin’ out. Don’t worry about it. Seriously, God did good. She is so beautiful!”

Move over Drizzy, there’s a new Jewish rapper in town. Via Page Six reports : Jerry Seinfeld wants to be master of a new domain: rapping. The comedian is currently working on an album with hip hop star Wale. Wale already released a Seinfeld-themed concept album, “The Mixtape About Nothing,” back in 2008, but now he’s finally connected with the funnyman himself. “Wale called me, he came to my show, we hung out a little bit,” Seinfeld said in a video posted by DJ Omega on Youtube. “He wanted me to do something with him. I didn’t understand it, but he did.” Seinfeld’s wife Jessica, a Wale fan, also encouraged the project. “We’re living together, she’s into him, he’s into me, and I didn’t know about the whole thing,” he said. The duo have since spent time in a Philadelphia recording studio, but there’s still no word on when fans can expect the tracks to drop. Sounds like Seinfeld isn’t too enthused about this. Guess Jessica wears the pants in that family! Mitt Romney Skips President Obama Inauguration To Stay Home Former failed Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney is apparently still licking his salty wounds from the L that he took in November. While Mitt’s Vice Presidential hopeful candidate counterpart was among the crowd in Washington, DC for the newly reelected President Obama’s Inaugural ceremony and festivities earlier today, Mitt wasn’t even in the vicinity……..nor did he plan to watch it on television. via MSNBC It’s chilly on the Capitol steps today, but that’s no problem for Mitt Romney. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney on election night in Boston. He is spending inauguration day in La Jolla, Calif., according to an aide. The former Republican presidential contender is spending Inauguration Day at his home in La Jolla, Calif., where it’s sunny with a forecasted high of 73 degrees. An aide told NBC News that the former Massachusetts governor and his wife have “no big plans.” Asked if the governor was likely to watch the inaugural ceremonies today, the aide said, “Doubtful.” Stay classy, Mitt.
