Kourtney Kardashian: Jealous of Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick?

Scott Disick is reportedly still on the outs with Kourtney Kardashian, who has grown jealous of his increasingly close relationship with her sister Khloe. According to previous reports, Scott has been crashing with Khloe amid his latest fight with the mother of his three children, and she’s not happy. Rather, Kourt is “worried” about him hanging with her laid-back party girl sis. “Kourtney really worries about Scott spending so much time with Khloe because she thinks Khloe is too soft on Scott,” a source dishes to Radar . Khloe’s former (technically estranged, totally MIA) husband Lamar Odom famous struggled with addiction during his relationship with the reality star. She was criticized for being too lenient with Lamar before finally pulling the plug on their marriage, and Kourtney worried she is too soft on Disick too. “Khloe went through a really difficult time with Lamar and so Kourtney is worried that she is going to be way too sympathetic to Scott,” the insider says. “He really needs tough love. Kourtney doesn’t want Scott to get away with bad behavior and isn’t sure Khloe can handle another person with an addiction.” Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick: Their Sweetest Moments 1. Kourtney and Scott Kiss Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian have had sex at least three times, but we rarely see them express any sort of love or affection. That made this scene stand out. On Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons , Kourtney flipped out on Khloe after she got drunk in front of Disick just weeks after his rehab trip. As for reports that Disick is living temporarily at Khloe’s pad, where her troubled brother Rob Kardashian also lives , that has not been confirmed. What can’t be refuted is that Scott and Khloe have a relationship that is different, if nothing else, than the one he shares with his romantic partner. Tabloids have reported that Scott Disick is in love with Khloe so many times that it’s just funny at this point, but the two are undeniably tight. Kourtney being upset about this fact, and how her younger sibling treats her man, is not the biggest stretch of the imagination in other words. Will he ever get his act together to the point where Kourtney and he are compatible? Or is he just not meant to settle down and be a house husband? And where does Khloe fit into all this? Hit the comments to discuss! Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons Episode 2: Best Quotes 1. Arse Splinters Scott inspects Khloe and helps extract some wood from her rear end. Scott Disick: Secret Rehab Stay Revealed on Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons! Watch Now!

Rumors of Kourtney Kardashian begging Scott Disick to get help for his increasingly troubling drinking and prescription pill habits have been confirmed by all the ugly blowout fights we’ve seen so far on Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons. So far this season, we’ve seen Kourtney kick Scott out of the house as a result of his partying, as well as Disick being hospitalized for alcohol poisoning . If anything, the show has made fans realize that Scott’s problems are worse than previously thought, and even the Kardashians wouldn’t go so far as to fake a storyline like this for ratings (we hope). So perhaps it’s not surprising that on Sunday’s Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons Season 1 Episode 4 , we learn that Scott has finally checked himself in to rehab: Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons Preview: Scott Disick Goes to Rehab Yet again, Kourtney earns her reputation as the sane, level-headed Kardashian by quietly standing by her man and breaking the news to her mother in the most casual way possible. She is loyal, that’s for sure. But to a fault? Sadly, if recent reports of Scott drinking at Kris Jenner’s birthday party are to be believed, the troubled Lord Disick still has a long way to go in his recovery. Even so, it could be a good sign that the soon-to-be father of three at least recognizes he has a problem and understands that he can’t fix it on his own. That’s the optimistic view of it, anyway. Follow the link to watch Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons online to see Scott battle his demons in front of an E! camera crew, and draw your own conclusions. 11 Times Scott Disick Was a Douche 1. When He Ragged on Kim’s Marriage Lord Disick often says what we’re thinking. Especially when he’s ragging on his baby mama’s clueless sisters.

Kim Kardashian Pulled Over For Speeding, Bedlam Ensues in L.A.

Kim Kardashian was pulled over on an L.A. freeway today, and it caused more pandemonium than the first time the Kim Kardashian sex tape dropped. Okay, not that much pandemonium. But seriously, everything Kim does is becoming an absolute circus these days. And all because of Ray J! Amazing. Anyway, today the star was pulled over for speeding while trying to evade multiple cars (five, according to reports) driven by paparazzi members. Insane. Not as insane as the fake video of Kanye West attacking paparazzi , but insane. All to get a pic of a reality star famous for a sex tape. Wild. The craziest part? After K-squared pulled over, the paps jumped out of their vehicles in the middle of a freeway to get the money shot, snarling traffic. A paparazzi helicopter was even hovering overhead. Just bedlam. Police are NOT HAPPY, believing the paps risked multiple lives with their maneuvers. Kim Kardashian, all other drivers on the road, and the officers involved were all put at risk, officials believe, by the increasingly aggressive shutterbugs. The California Highway Patrol cited one of the photographers for speeding, but the rest got away. The CHP is reportedly now looking into the incident further. Kim, meanwhile, also got a ticket for speeding. Kanye, while he wasn’t seen beating up cops in the aforementioned video (also below), is no doubt thinking about it after hearing what went down today … Kanye West Attacks Paparazzi?

Justin Bieber Spotted at Brothel in Brazil; Singer Sneaks Out With Two Women

Justin Bieber tried to sneak out of a notorious brothel in Brazil while covered in a sheet on Friday night, but alas, he was caught in the act by photographers. The 19-year-old and a friend spent more than three hours inside the popular whore house Centauros in Rio de Janeiro before leaving with two women. Justin Bieber jumped into the back seat of a car while the women, whose faces were also covered, were put in SUVs and escorted back to his hotel . Bieber’s security team covered him with a bed sheet bearing the sex-slinging locale’s logo as he departed the establishment, the N.Y. Post reports. One of his handlers even sprayed down celebrity news photographers with water, demanding they stop snapping. Of course, that obviously failed. Chalk up yet another story to his increasingly long list of semi-shady antics. No one knows for sure what happened in the club or afterward, but he was definitely there, and won’t help any efforts to woo Selena Gomez back. Nor will it help his reputation, which has taken some serious hits of late. The photographers, who were tipped off about Bieber’s visit to the brothel earlier in the night, confirmed it was the star through his security team. He was also identified by his gray wraparound wrist tattoo, which is visible in some of the photos taken of, and his signature sneakers, said witnesses. Always pays to go incognito when trolling for Brazilian hookers. Another report says he was kicked out of his hotel in Rio, where he and his crew were partying for days, doing drugs and generally disturbing people. The singer, who was staying at the upscale Copacabana Palace hotel in southern Rio, then moved his entourage to a mansion in a gated community. No word about the community’s policy on prostitution, but at least he helped build a Guatemalan school last week, so maybe that cancels this out a little? Justin Bieber: Good role model?   Yes! He’s always there for his fans! Maybe, he could be a whole lot worse … No! He sets a terrible example for the kids! View Poll »

M.I.A. Restraining Order: Rapper Banned From Leaving Brooklyn With Son

Rapper M.I.A. has been banned from leaving the borough of Brooklyn with her son, thanks to a restraining order obtained by baby daddy Benjamin Bronfman. M.I.A. was reportedly threatening to take their 4-year-old son, Ikhyd, to England, her home country, until Bronfman put the kibosh on that plan, court order style. Bronfman and M.I.A. were never married, and split up last year. They both live in Brooklyn, separately, and Ikhyd goes to school there. Clearly there is a nasty, ongoing custody war between M.I.A. and Bronfman. She has Tweeted in the past that her former partner and his billionaire family (they own Seagrams, Inc.) conspire to “to take my child away from me.” No comment from M.I.A. directly on this story, though.

Lindsay Lohan "Appalled" at Justin Bieber Comment, Says "Karma" Will Haunt Loudmouth

Lindsay Lohan is not pleased that naive little punk Justin Bieber called her out for no reason yesterday, and says karma will come back to bite him. She was reportedly “appalled” at Justin Bieber’s Instagram rant , in which he defended himself against critics, then took a cheap shot at LiLo’s finances. For kind of no reason at all, the increasingly erratic pop superstar wrote “to those comparing me to Lindsay Lohan, look at her 2012 tax statements ;)”. Bieber soon deleted the missive and apologized for the insult , but Lindsay is not over it, and is telling friends that “karma” is gonna bite him in the ass. Lohan thinks Justin was “senseless and mean,” especially since they don’t know each other, and has no idea why he singled her out with his “bullying.” Basically, Lindsay says the little hothead it asking for it. If LiLo and Bieber threw down, who would win?   Lindsay Justin THG View Poll »

Why You Should Care About the Imminent Death of Film

” By 2013 , film will slip to niche status, shown in only a third of theaters. By 2015, used in a paltry 17 percent of global cinemas, venerable old 35 mm film will be mostly gone.” The epic life and death struggle between film and digital rolls on, and in LA Weekly’s cover story must-read Gendy Alimurung details the sobering — and imminent — sea change in film production and exhibition with insights from figures at every stop on the cinematic food chain: Filmmakers, arthouse/rep theaters, film curators, projectionists, preservationists, and even the cold, lonely (and increasingly studio-blocked) vaults that house the dwindling ranks of cinema’s remaining 35mm prints. “Digital is the future!” you might say. “It’s cheaper and looks just as good as film!” Great taste, less filling, etc. Many a sentimental plea has been made on behalf of 35mm: The way things are going, repertory houses will find their programming options limited to the smattering of popular titles studio vaults make available. There’s that distinguishable living quality to film, with its pops and hisses and beloved imperfections, that digital prints just can’t replicate. Or, as Edgar Wright suggests, shooting on costlier film changes the relationship a director has to the process itself: “Because when you hear the camera whirring, you know that money is going through it. There’s a respectfulness that comes when you’re burning up film.” Most of that’s already been argued, but Alimurung takes pains to appeal to the pragmatic side of digital cheerleaders by pointing out what many proponents of digital film and its many admitted benefits (lower cost, ease of production, cheaper distribution methods) seldom have an answer for: the long-term hazards of going exclusively digital. “The main problem is format obsolescence. File formats can go obsolete in a matter of months. On this subject, [UCLA Film & Television Archive director Jan-Christopher Horak’s] every sentence requires an exclamation mark. “In the last 10 years of digitality, we’ve gone through 20 formats!” he says. “Every 18 months we’re getting a new format!” So every two years, data must be transferred, or “migrated,” to a new device. If that doesn’t happen, the data may never being accessible again. Technology can advance too far ahead.” But the demands and costs of constant technological upgrades aren’t the only issue with the industry moving exclusively to digital. “In the digital realm, the archivist’s mantra, “Store and ignore,” fails. If you don’t “refresh,” or occasionally turn on a hard drive, it stops working. You can’t just stick it on a shelf and forget about it. As restorationist Ross Lipman says, ‘You’re shifting from a model focused on a physical object to data. And where the data lives will be constantly changing.'” What’s saddest is that there isn’t an easy solution to be offered other than appealing to the studios (and, it’s worth noting, the vast majority of allied theater chains represented by the National Association of Theater Owners) to leave room for niche 35mm film culture to live on while their charge into the digital future continues. Major changes are in store for everyone — not just the studios, or the theater owners, or the increasingly obsolete ranks of actual trained projectionists, or the ticket-buyers. So yes, a storm’s coming. What can be done about it? Discuss. [ LA Weekly ] Photo: Julia Marchese of the New Beverly Cinema, Jennie Warren for LA Weekly
