To Whom Does This Beautifully Tatted-Up Back Belong?

When we first met this young lady, we would have never pegged her as one to end up with this much ink on her. Since then she’s toured the world with two urban pop-ish groups masterminded by the same man. Can you guess who this is? That is Dawn Richard in the pages of Edge Magazine, getting her flex on now that she’s broken free of Diddy’s chains her first solo album, Golden Hear, is in the works. Of course she geared up for it with the release of her Tell Tale Hear mixtape last year. And she talked to Edge about what that project meant. “I wanted people to literally fall into my heart. And if they could hear each beat of my heart those songs would be the sound. If you took a walk in my heart those songs would be the soundtrack”. That’s the mind of Dawn Richard. She’s discussing her mixtape, A Tell Tale Heart, which went viral earlier this year and proved that she was more than just “that girl from Making the Band”. Y’all might still be calling her that. Or “Dawn from Dirty Money,” which she isn’t anymore (no one will explain exactly what happened), but that’s not stopping Dawn’s hustle. In fact, she just dropped a new Christmas song called “December Sky” for the people… and so that you won’t forget that she can saaaaang, dammit! “A lot of people won’t be able to see their loved ones this Christmas,” says Dawn. “Whether they are serving in Iraq/Iran, in the industry or working a 9 to 5, the truth is a lot of us aren’t able to make it home for the holidays. So this record is for them and anyone else missing their love – the sky and stars are a gift for us both because no matter how far apart we are, we are under the same sky.” Hit the flip to check out “December Sky” and more pics from Dawn’s Edge spread.

Eminem Critiques B.o.B’s Strange Clouds

Bobby Ray calls working with Slim Shady, featured on his new E.P.I.C. (Every Play Is Crucial) mixtape, ‘a dream come true.’ By Steven Roberts B.o.B Photo: MTV News B.o.B ‘s first album, B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray, featured plenty of guest appearances, but arguably the biggest was Eminem ‘s feature on “Airplanes Part II.” Em is not exactly ubiquitous, but he found his way onto the up-and-comer’s track. So, it shouldn’t be much of a surprise that they’d team up again. When Bobby Ray dropped his newest mixtape, E.P.I.C. (Every Play Is Crucial), seemingly out of nowhere Monday, it featured an older track with Eminem, titled “Things Get Worse.” Though the track leaked in February, B.o.B decided to not let it go to waste. When MTV News caught up with Bob on Tuesday evening, he said the track was recorded in Detroit around the same time as the “Airplanes” sequel. He also said he relished the opportunity to work so closely with two artists — B.o.B is signed to T.I.’s Grand Hustle — that were already legends. “Working with artists like Tip and Eminem, you really learn a lot from people who have put out countless albums,” he said. “Being that I’m fresh in the industry and really eager to learn and really show people everything I can do musically, they kind of help me. I remember Tip telling me, ‘I’m with you. I support everything you do.’ ” B.o.B revealed that he and Em have been in touch, and he had a chance to play Slim Shady his new record, Strange Clouds. Bobby Ray said it was still surreal to sit down with Em and have the rapper critique his work, especially since Em has been supportive of what he’s already done. “I grew up listening to Eminem, so to be able to work and get advice on your music from him is a dream come true,” he said. “It was free, a free environment. It really wasn’t rigid, just real free with the music, no ego.” Share your review of B.o.B’s E.P.I.C. (Every Play Is Crucial) mixtape in the comments below! Related Artists Eminem B.o.B

‘X Factor’: Why Isn’t It As Huge As ‘American Idol’?

One writer makes the case for why you should be watching Simon Cowell’s latest import. By Gil Kaufman, with additional reporting by Jim Cantiello “X Factor” judge Simon Cowell Photo: Ian Derry / FOX Imagine a reality competition that mixes the drama of “Dancing With the Stars,” the variety-show feel of “America’s Got Talent,” the weekly singing battles of “American Idol” and the cutthroat competition between celebrity judges of “The Voice.” That would be amazing, right? Well, guess what? It exists, and it’s called “The X Factor.” But chances are you’re not watching it. Simon Cowell’s bid to make “Factor” the new “Idol” hasn’t taken off as quickly as he brashly predicted earlier this year. The show is pulling in a solid 9-plus million viewers per night, which is about half of the 20 million Simon promised. But Nielsen recently reported that the strong ratings helped the Fox Network — which also airs “Idol” — win the November “sweeps” period among the coveted 18-29 demo by grabbing the top spot among unscripted programs. And yet, even as “Factor” drills down to its final seven contestants this week, the show has failed to develop that must-see-TV aura that “Idol” has enjoyed for nearly a decade. After covering “Idol” for nine seasons, I was exceedingly reluctant to take on yet another musical competition show, but somehow “Factor” has wormed its way into my TiVo and I’ve become a major fan. So in case you haven’t been watching, here’s what I think you’ve been missing: Stars Forget for a moment that Cowell remains the biggest name in reality-TV judging, or that he recruited his Paul McCartney — Paula Abdul — to join him on the judging panel. So far, the show has hosted eye-popping performances from Willow Smith, Jessie J, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars and, this week, Tinie Tempah. Yes, “Idol” also lands big names, but it’s often saddled with giving up prime-time slots to snoozy former winners and finalists like Constantine Maroulis, Crystal Bowersox and David Cook, whose careers have not exactly set the charts on fire. The Stage If nothing else elevates “Factor” above “Idol” or “The Voice,” it’s the elaborate, over-the-top staging. “Idol” pulls out the big guns for the finale, but from the very first live show, “Factor” has been giving us VMA/Grammy-worthy production numbers complete with backup dancers, constantly varying sets and a massive video-screen-covered stage that makes each performance feel like an event. The craftsmanship is so bombastic at times that it’s easy to forget that you’re essentially watching nobodies on a game show. Watch the remaining “X Factor” finalists explain what makes their show so unique. Variety Because of the format (which includes groups, boys, girls and over 30’s), so far this season we’ve seen rappers, country groups, pop stars, boy bands, R&B crooners and hip-hop/soul hybrids on “Factor.” Quality While “Idol” has struggled over the past few seasons to launch a bona fide star and has frequently been saddled with top 12 groupings larded with substandard singers, almost without exception, the acts that made it to the live shows on “Factor” had some legitimate commercial potential. From such eliminated groups as New Jack revivalists Stereo Hogzz to manufactured country act Lakoda Rayne and soul singer LeRoy Bell, even the early castoffs from “Factor” have a legitimate shot at making it in the industry. Add in such easily packaged finalists as cutie diva Rachel Crow, next Chris Brown-type Marcus Canty, power vocalist Melanie Amaro and hip-hop tween Astro and you have a top seven silly with possible future stars. And I’ll put former-addict rapper/crooner Chris Rene up against Lee DeWyze any day. Judges As much as we hate to love him, Cowell really is the best at this, and his banter with a more subdued Abdul was missed. Add into the mix opinionated, no-BS veteran music man L.A. Reid and weepy ex-Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and you have a panel that is fun to watch and quick to scrap. With each judge competing against each other as well, you also get some seemingly legitimate sniping and griping among them that adds more drama to the show. And who can forget Abdul’s painfully long on-air near breakdown when pressed by annoying host to Steve Jones to choose between two of her groups during week three? Drama With all of that going on, producers have also ceaselessly hammered the rich backstories of the contestants, from fresh-out-of-rehab young dad Chris Rene and shockingly overconfident Brooklyn teen MC Astro to formerly homeless soul rocker Dexter Haygood and scrappy 13-year-old Crow. The white-knuckle moments each week when the judges are forced to potentially toss one of their own overboard — not to mention back-to-back double-elimination episodes — amps up the drama even more. “It shows people’s lives, it shows who they are … it shows what they’re about, what they represent,” finalist Rene told MTV News. “It doesn’t just show an artist or a singer. They go into your life and they’re like, ‘So who are you? What are you about? What do you do?’ … If I wasn’t me, and I was watching the show and I’d seen all the stuffs that’s going on with all the different contestants, I would be like, ‘Wow this is crazy! What’s going on here? What is this? Did they set this up? Like, is this real?’ ” Have you been watching “X Factor”? Share your thoughts in the comments below! Lady Gaga Doubles Up At Grammy Nominations Special

Gaga opens and closes the show, with an assist from country duo Sugarland. By James Montgomery Lady Gaga opens the “Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!” Photo: Lester Cohen/ WireImage Anyone who has ever seen Lady Gaga is aware that she knows how to work a look. And on Wednesday’s (November 30) “Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!,” she worked two of them, both about as different as could be. As she announced earlier, Gaga served as both the opening and closing act during the telecast, and, of course, those two roles required two totally different sides of the Mother Monster. She started things off with a steampunk -y version of “Marry the Night,” opening the song on a stage littered with smoking pipes and scattered bits of scrap metal. Her face done up like a skeleton (or perhaps Zombie Boy ?), wearing a black cloak, she solemnly sang the song’s opening lines, as a group of gothed-up dancers cavorted around her. Take a closer look at this year’s Grammy nominees through photos! As the beat kicked in, she shed her cloak (revealing a sport coat, matching underwear set and, of course, thigh-high boots) and hit the harmonies hard, while guitars wailed and those dancers posed and popped. Then the whole thing gave way to a particularly fierce dance segment, which brought the performance to a close and earned a standing ovation from the industry-heavy crowd (David Guetta seemed particularly pumped, it should be noted). And after the nominations were revealed, Gaga was back to wrap things up, and she did so in true Grammy style, joined onstage by country duo Sugarland for a husky, musky version of “Yo

Big Time Rush To Sing National Anthem On Thanksgiving

Nickelodeon stars will precede Dallas Cowboys/ Miami Dolphins game. By Christina Garibaldi Big Time Rush Photo: MTV News To say this month has been a “Big Time Rush” for James Maslow, Logan Henderson, Carlos Pena and Kendall Schmidt is an understatement. The boys from the hit Nickelodeon show released their sophomore album, Elevated, on Monday, just wrapped up shooting their new flick (“Big Time Movie”) and on Thanksgiving, they will be singing the National Anthem before the start of the football game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Miami Dolphins. MTV News caught up with Big Time Rush on Tuesday (November 22) to talk about their big Turkey Day performance. “We are going to Dallas, which is where I grew up pretty much for 18 years of my life,” Henderson said about performing in front of his hometown crowd at Cowboys Stadium. Most of the members of Big Time Rush are big-time Cowboys fans. “It’s American’s team,” Schmidt said, while Maslow added, “Every American is a Cowboys fan.” Not so fast, James: It seems Pena is torn between rooting for Dallas or his hometown team, the Dolphins. “I like Miami and the Dolphins; they’re my home team,” Pena explained. “But the Cowboys gave me this job to sing the National Anthem, so, who do you go with?” Well, Carlos, you might have a fellow Dolphins fan in Miami resident Enrique Iglesias, who will be performing the halftime show. If you are too busy with Thanksgiving Day plans to catch Big Time Rush in action, the group is planning to take their act on the road for their “Better With U” Tour. The band’s first United States tour will kick off in February. Will you watch Big Time Rush sing the National Anthem? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Big Time Rush

Justin Bieber Accuser Will Submit Baby For DNA Test

Mariah Yeater’s lawyer in paternity case says that while lawsuit has been dropped, negotiations for settlement are ongoing. By John Mitchell Justin Bieber Photo: WireImage Justin Bieber reportedly took a DNA test Friday in response to the paternity case brought against him by Mariah Yeater, a 20-year-old California woman alleging the singer fathered her 4-month-old son, and now Yeater’s attorney tells TMZ his client will submit her baby for testing. Late last month, Yeater filed a lawsuit claiming she became pregnant by Bieber during a backstage encounter following his October 25, 2010, concert at the Los Angeles Staples Center. Yeater withdrew her paternity suit a few weeks later and was dropped as a client by her initial legal team in mid-November. She went on to hire new counsel, led by Chicago-based attorney Jeffrey Leving, who told MTV News that while the suit had been dropped, negotiations for a settlement were ongoing. Bieber’s legal team vehemently denies the allegations and has stated from the get-go that it might pursue legal action to protect the pop star from further false claims. “As we’ve said from the beginning, it’s sad that someone would fabricate such a malicious, defamatory and demonstrably false claim,” Bieber’s spokesman, Matthew Hiltzik, said in a statement. “We’ll continue to consider all of our options to protect Justin.” What Are Bieber’s Legal Options Now That Yeater Has Dropped Her Suit? After reports surfaced that Bieber took a DNA test in New Jersey, TMZ reported Yeater was deliberately avoiding having her child tested because she knew the results would serve as evidence against her, should Bieber’s team file suit for defamation or abuse of the legal process. Her lawyer is now dispelling that notion, telling the gossip site that his client “can’t wait” to submit her young son for testing. Leving, however, claimed he has a problem with the DNA test Bieber reportedly submitted because a member of his team was not present when it was administered. The lawyer said he has been in touch with Bieber’s legal counsel, headed by Howard Weitzman, and hopes both teams can reach an agreement on DNA-testing protocol. Bieber has maintained a positive attitude throughout the ordeal. He has not altered the promotional tour for his holiday album, Under the Mistletoe , including a recent performance at the American Music Awards and on the “Today” show, and told MTV News last week at the Pencils of Promise charity event that he’s doing “great.” Earlier that day, he spoke of the paternity case briefly with New York’s Z100 radio station , saying, “As far as the whole baby situation, it’s unfortunate that it had to happen like that. People make false accusations, but things happen in this industry, and you have to keep your head high and be positive.” Related Artists Justin Bieber

Pop star jokes that a better false allegation would have been: ‘Justin Bieber went off to South America with this 27-year-old supermodel.’ By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber at New York radio station Z100 on Thursday Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage Justin Bieber stopped by New York radio station Z100 on Thursday morning (November 17) and addressed a number of subjects, from his favorite candy (Swedish Fish) to his early crush on Selena Gomez to his Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe. But there was one topic he couldn’t avoid: the paternity suit . “Right now, I’m focusing on my album and the music and the [Pencils of Promise] charity we’re doing, and just being positive because Christmastime is a time for joy and happiness, so that’s what I’m thinking,” Bieber told Elvis Duran and crew. “And as far as the whole baby situation, it’s unfortunate that it had to happen like that. People make false accusations, but things happen in this industry and you have to keep your head high and be positive.” When asked if he wondered why he was the target of Mariah Yeater’s allegations, he joked, “If it was up to me, it would have been a better story like, ‘Justin Bieber went off to South America with this 27-year-old supermodel.’ That would have been awesome. “They say that any press is good press — I do not believe that’s true,” the pop star added. “If you’re in the spotlight, then people are looking at you to be a role model, and if you’re doing bad things to be getting press, I think that’s really, really sad.” While Bieber was diplomatic about his response, his manager, Scooter Braun, had stronger words for Yeater and her legal team . “Look, I don’t usually talk in front of mics but the bottom line is they said they’re in settlement talks with us, and the only thing I’m gonna say is they will never be in settlement talks with us,” he said. “We will never settle with them. That’s my little guy right there — I protect him — and they messed with the wrong crew. “It’s false and people should be held accountable when they run out and say this stuff,” Braun continued. “And they have this lawyer running around saying, ‘Well, we want everything to be held confidentially now.’ But you don’t get to go out there and badmouth a 17-year-old kid to the entire world then suddenly think it’s going to stay confidential. We’re not gonna go away quietly. I’m from around [the NYC area], and you know that people from around here don’t like to be messed with.” Bieber also revealed what he wants his legacy to be: “[I want people to say], ‘He was a good entertainer; a great entertainer,’ more or less. I don’t want to be second- or third-best, but I want to be the best.” Justin’s visit to New York City won’t end with Z100. He’s also slated to make various radio and media appearances, including a gala held for the Pencils of Promise charity and a Make-A-Wish Foundation event on Friday, where he’ll be honored for granting the most wishes in 2011. Kelly Clarkson ‘Stalking’ Adele For A Duet

‘I’ve been trying to sing with her for a while,’ Clarkson tells MTV News. By Christina Garibaldi Kelly Clarkson Photo: MTV News Kelly Clarkson doesn’t mind a little friendly competition. The former “American Idol” winner recently told MTV News she didn’t care if Coldplay “killed” her on the Billboard albums chart (her latest, Stronger, came in second, selling 163,000 to Mylo Xyloto ‘s 447,000). Clarkson might not give a second thought to chart placement, but what does she think about all these other pop divas who have taken over the airwaves? “I always think it’s healthy to have a lot of stuff out there, and there’s room for everybody, because everybody is so different, especially all the women right now in the industry,” Clarkson told MTV News. “We’re all very different from each other, which I think is good. It keeps it not boring.” We have to agree: The “Mr. Know It All” singer is anything but boring, recently telling the U.K.’s Guardian : “I want to punch Adele in the face! She is just too good.” Of course, she was kidding. “That’s a term of endearment for me,” Clarkson laughed. “I think maybe overseas that didn’t read well. I meant more to be funny. She’s just so talented; she’s just so ridiculous it’s upsetting.” Adele — who, like Clarkson, is known for her emotional songs about love and heartbreak — is set to undergo surgery to treat her vocal issues, but when she recovers, we have an idea who might want to work with her. “I’m stalking her currently through interviews. Every interview, they are like, ‘Who do you want to work with?’ ‘Adele! I want to do a duet with Adele!’ ” Clarkson said. “I’ve been stalking her since we did ‘[VH1] Divas’ together, actually, and we were supposed to sing together, and then they changed the concept to where we would sing with somebody from a different generation. That was actually really cool, because I got to sing with Melissa Etheridge , and she’s amazing. That wasn’t like a letdown or anything, but I’ve been trying to sing with [Adele] for a while.” Clarkson will be returning to the “VH1 Divas” alongside Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Florence and the Machine, Jessie J and Jennifer Hudson . “I always think competition is healthy, it’s good. Even, like, Jennifer Hudson — let’s say that people that are fans of her don’t know me very well; they’ll tune into ‘VH1 Divas’ or something and be like, ‘Oh, I didn’t know I’d like her,’ ” Clarkson said. “VH1 Divas” premieres December 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Britney Spears And Howie D Have ‘Grown Up’ Together

Now, Brit is taking the Backstreet Boy on tour with her in South America. By Jocelyn Vena Howie D Photo: MTV News Britney Spears may be the leading lady on the Femme Fatale Tour, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to bring some guys along for the ride. Next up, Backstreet Boy Howie D is slated to hit the road with Spears, following in the footsteps of DJ Pauly D and Joe Jonas . The South American tour dates — which kick off November 20, days after Howie releases his solo album Back to Me — were an enticing offer to the pop singer. “I embraced it with open arms,” he told MTV News of the trek, which ends November 28. “She’s such a great, talented person. We’ve known each other for many, many years.” He isn’t lying: Howie and Britney grew up together in the industry, with the Backstreet Boys and Spears two of the figureheads of the late-’90s pop revival. Howie said they’re rooted in the same place, which will lend itself nicely to touring together. “We kind of came out of the same camp, out of the Orlando pop scene with us and ‘NSYNC and Britney,” he recalled. “I feel like we’ve all grown together and have very similar, parallel lives with us and our music, [with] certain moments being very, very hot, certain moments not, and just riding the wave up and down as it’s going. Even [with our] personal lives, having families, having kids. I have a huge respect for her, not only as an artist, but as a person. It’s good to be around people you’ve known and people you’ve grown up with.” So what keeps people coming back for more from the likes of Howie and Britney? He has a theory: “It’s a test of good music being out there,” he said. “We really take pride in making good records, timeless records, and being true to our craft and trying to give our fans what they want … trying to constantly take each record to the next level, push the envelope.” Do you want Howie to tour with Britney in the States? Laura Govan: “I’m Myself From The Beginning, I’m Not A Fronter” [EXCLUSIVE]

The rest is here:

This season of “Basketball Wives LA” has been filled with over the top drama! From the first fight with Laura and Malaysia to the current drama with Draya, it’s hard to keep up with who likes who and who’s talking about who. After talking with Draya recently, I knew that I had to find out more about what is really happening on this show. I caught up with Laura and asked her for her side of the story! Of course, Laura is no stranger to the media. As Gloria’s sister, we heard her mentioned plenty of times on the first season of “Basketball Wives” due to dating rumors between her and other NBA players. Laura definitely cleared all those rumors up! She dished on the drama with her and Jackie, her feelings toward Draya and even a little bit about her rocky relationship with her fiance. Take a look at what Laura had to say below! HelloBeautiful : We watch the show every single week and the very first question that popped in my head is, what the heck is Jackie talking about? She’s been going around saying that you’ve been talking about her negatively behind her back, calling her fat amongst other things. Is she making things up? Laura: Honestly, I have no idea what Jackie is talking about. You’ll see what’s to come. A lot of things are starting to be revealed. When you hang out with someone for a long period of time, his or her personality is eventually revealed, but I’m not like that. I’m myself from the beginning. I’m not a “fronter”. I am who I am; there are no surprises with me. I show you exactly who I am from the beginning. It’s so funny when you see it play out. It’s like on a first date people are pretending to be something they’re not, but with me you get the real me from the start. Like I’ll burp, I’ll fart. That’s just me! I’m real. Omni Shoreham Hotel in Northwest Washington an Urban Oasis Single Black Women Tired of Being a Spectacle HB: Why did you dislike Draya so much this season? What are your feelings toward Draya now? Laura : It played out on the show that we have beef but in reality, we’re cool. It’s no animosity and no drama. It wasn’t even like that. What was really a two-hour filming session, you saw it edited into two minutes. HB: What was the real reason you went in on Draya in the boxing ring? Did you plan that fight or did it just randomly happen? Laura: You know, I’m the same way with my sister [Gloria]. I’m very athletic and I’m very competitive. If that was mom I would have been lenient but outside of that you get in the ring with me and I’m going to start going in. Draya said she wanted to come in I was like “okay”. If it would have been any of them I would have went just as hard. I did the same thing with my sister! So it wasn’t intentional or me just going hard on Draya because she’s Draya, I’m just competitive by nature. HB: What made you and Jackie dig up dirt on Draya in the first place? Do you really believe the stories about Draya and her son are true? Laura: That’s really none of my business. I didn’t care to look her up. We were asked to do so. I feel like it was a mistake and I even said that on the show. I don’t believe everything I read. It’s hard because people twist and turn your words and don’t write down exactly what you say. That’s her child. I’m passionate about being a mom, but that’s her life. That’s one thing I can look back and say that I wasn’t interested in doing. I was thinking, “this is dumb”. HB: How do you respond to rumors that you’ve dated other NBA players? Laura: I don’t say anything to them. People are going to believe what they want to believe regardless, that comes from being uneducated. I’m at fault for that too. I used to read stuff and be like “Oh my gosh!” so I get it. But now being in the industry, I’m always like “is that really true?” I don’t put effort into it anymore. I don’t really care as far as what people say about me because I can’t change everyone’s mind. When you meet me, people say I’m so nice and so sweet but you don’t get that on TV, you get the drama. I know how to portray the difference between who I am but it’s hard to see people go at you all the time so now I don’t read it or deal with it. The only people I care about are the people who care about me: my close friends, my fiancé and my family. HB : Wow, fiancé?!  How are things going with your relationship now? Are they better since the show? Laura : Things are going great! You know, he’s been my fiance, for a while now. On the show, people think that the reality that they are seeing is actually happening right now, and people don’t get it. But we were together for a while going into it. Were not shy about it. It’s been about 10 years of ups and downs but it just what it is. HB: Do you still keep in touch with any of the other girls from the show besides your sister? Laura : I do! I actually talk to all of them here and there. I’m really close to Imani and Malaysia and when I see Jackie, Tanya and Draya it’s all love. At the end of the day, we’re working together. I support them all. How many of us can say we’re doing things on our own? Think of it like this, we’re co-workers. It’s not cool to go into work and hate each other. As a woman, I’m cool with everybody. Even if we have beef, it’s of that moment. I never let it continue. We fight and keep it moving. HB: How do you think being on “Basketball Wives LA” has changed you ? Laura: It has changed me completely. I was over 200 pounds on the show and I had just given birth. I lost like 70-80 pounds since then. Other than the physical changes, I would say that it’s been therapy because you got to get a lot of things out that you normally couldn’t share with people. Seeing yourself on camera, seeing how big you are looking and how your hair looks and even your fashion. I don’t take it personally, I had a good time! I’d say that it’s mainly changed my sense of style and me caring more about my appearance.  Other than that, I’m the same me! HB: Do you think we will see another season? Laura: You guys have to stay tuned! Keep the fingers crossed. I think it was a good turn out and we had a good time. Ratings are high so I’m excited! I’m sure we may have one. HB : Are you working on any new projects? Laura: Well first, everyone follow me on twitter @l4govan! I have some kids books coming out because of course I’m always reading to my kids and I figured I would put out some kids books myself.  I also have a 12-step workout plan coming out because people always ask me how I lost so much weight so I want to share that with people. I want to motivate them on how to lose weight after having a child. I’m also making a maternity line for women after they’ve given birth because it was so hard to find any clothes that fit me after I had a baby. Your belly is still hanging out and you still look pregnant! It was so hard, so I wanted to make something that when you get it in, you still feel great. And now the 5 questions we always ask…. What’s in your bag? I’m such a mom! I have diapers, wipes, bottles, baby food, Cosco card, lip gloss, mascara, hair tie, cell phone, wallet, ID, credit cars, only 20 bucks because I don’t like to carry cash, iPhone with music for kids and a lot of snacks! If  you were forced to get a tattoo what would it be of? I already have five tattoos. So I guess if I were forced it would have to be anything Mexican. I’m Mexican and I represent hard. It would have to be something Spanish and something about my family. Something like a quote or a sentence. What’s your vice and where do you go to get it Twix, I’m addicted like a crack head! Like you’ll find me in a closet with two pieces of Twix secretly eating them everyday! I also love chocolate chip cookies but I need the chocolate chips in the cookies so I can pick them out- weird I know. What’s one urge you get but never act on it? To jump off a roof. I don’t know why. I used to jump off the roof when I was little and would be trying to sneak out the house to go play basketball at night. I always want to do that now but I look at that roof and I’m like “Oh no”. When was the last time you cried? The other day my son got his 4 month shot! I was in tears in the hallway at the doctor! The doctor is like “we’ve done it for 4 years”! Only over my kids!
