Inside Nicki Minaj’s V Magazine Spread

As we told you, V Magazine tapped Nicki Minaj for the cover of their January 2011 “Discovery Issue.” In it, the Young Money mistress dons black face paint and pink lipstick for the shoot photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinood Matadin. Besides her standout look, the magazine features Minaj speaking on her infamous alter egos. According to Minaj she lets her “voices speak” and enjoys being a different person when she pleases. “I just always want to do ‘me’, but ‘me’ changes every day…I would crumple up and die if I had to wake up and be the same person every day. I don’t silence those voices anymore. I just let them speak.” Following the shoot, Minaj was obviously pleased with the end results and took to her Twitter page to encourage fans to check out her most “bad a** shoot to date.” Check out the photos from the spread at HipHopWired.com

Bill O’Reilly on Miley Cyrus: Pathetic!

Reaction to the infamous Miley Cyrus bong video continues to pour in. Father Billy Ray is sad. Dr. Drew Pinsky thinks the singer should seek help . As for Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly? He takes a more critical, direct approach. The conservative commentator has one word to describe Cyrus: pathetic . In the video below, he adds: “Her days of being a positive role model for young women are long gone.” Bill O’Reilly on Miley Do you agree with this harsh assessment? Is Miley being treated unfairly for making a legal decision? Or, as a major celebrity – aware of her status in the eyes of impressionable fans – should she be held to a higher standard?

Brian David Mitchell, Uber-Creepy Elizabeth Smart Kidnapper, Found Guilty in Federal Court

Brian David Mitchell was convicted of kidnapping Elizabeth Smart. Seven years after he abducted Smart now 23, from her Utah bedroom and subjected her to a terrifying nine-month ordeal, a jury rendered a guilty verdict on charges of kidnapping and transporting a child across state lines for sexual purposes. He faces a possible life sentence. That might not be long enough … AHHH! Scared yet? Luckily for all of us, Brian David Mitchell is off to prison . Jury deliberations began after a month of testimony , including several days on the witness stand for Smart, who calmly recounted how Mitchell raped her daily. Mitchell was singing “The Great Redeemer Died,” as he often does, and didn’t stop singing when the verdict was read aloud, showing no visible emotion either. Elizabeth Smart, 23, took her seat next to her parents, Ed and Lois, and her sister, Mary Katherine. After the verdict was read, a look of triumph was shared. Mitchell’s accomplice, Wanda Barzee, who pleaded guilty to kidnapping last year, is serving a 15-year sentence in a federal facility already. Good riddance.

I’ll have 45 minutes of ABC airtime.'” O’Reilly and Letterman also discussed Sarah Palin’s run for presidency and enjoyed a somewhat serious debate about President Obama: Bill O’Reilly on Letterman
