After being denied by several New Jersey towns , Snooki & JWoww have found a new place to live, and the residents of their new town aren’t pleased. 495 Productions, the producers of Jersey Shore as well as Snooki & JWoww , had trouble finding a location to film Season 2 of the duo’s reality show. The small town of Manchester stepped up to the plate, though … much to the chagrin of the Manchester natives who have to live next to them. Some of their close neighbors say they had no idea Snooki and JWoww were rolling into the small Garden State town 80 miles south of N.Y. City. When they called the town to complain, they were told the mayor already signed off, so too bad … for him, the next time he runs for reelection. Concerned residents were told 495 would go door-to-door to “address the situation,” but several neighbors tell us that hasn’t actually happened. What would they say anyway? Meanwhile, with pregnant Snooki ready to pop any second, crew members have been seen setting up equipment. Say a prayer for Manchester.
Shirley Wygal, whose daughter lost her life inside an Aurora, Colorado movie theater on July 20 and who is now suing the owners of that theater , has hired Jose Baez has her attorney. Baez is best known as the lead lawyer in the Casey Anthony case. After helping that accused murderer go free, he wrote a book in which he detailed Anthony’s perceived mental issues . Wygal believes the theater, due to its lax security, should be held partially responsible for the alleged actions of James Holes. In a statement, she tells TMZ: “When police came that night with official word, Rebecca’s baby asked, ‘How did he get in?’ Dissatisfied with the answer, she asked again. At just 5 years old, she wants to know how it could happen and so do I. If any entity had an obligation to protect the innocent and did not, then every survivor and loved one left behind must hold them accountable. The first step is a timely and thorough investigation. “I’ve engaged a firm large enough to help us all. I am confident in their expertise and appreciate their making this a priority. Rebecca would love these attorneys. As a mom, she’d want her girls to have the truth. As a daughter, she’d insist I find that truth for them.”

‘I work hard, and music is really important to me,’ JB tells 100 lucky fans during MTV News special celebrating the release of Believe. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Sway Calloway Justin Bieber performs during “Bieber Live” Photo: Justin Bieber ‘s presence in our Times Square studio for the 30-minute special “Bieber Live” was cause for celebration, expertly timed with the release of his new album, Believe, which arrived in stores today. Bieber kicked off the MTV News special with a stripped-down performance of “Die in Your Arms,” which, in addition to inducing frenzied screams from the 100 lucky fans in the audience, set the tone for an insightful and lighthearted look into how much of himself Bieber put into the new album. Speaking to his inspiration for the dance track “All Around the World,” featuring Ludacris, Bieber said he was introduced to more and more dance music throughout his world travels and wanted to be able to showcase it in some way on Believe. “I wanted to incorporate it somewhat into my music and not overly use it,” he said. “But I felt like ‘All Around the World’ has that melodic feel to it, but also that dance feel, so I felt that was the perfect song for me.” Bieber said he is grateful Ludacris was able to contribute to another one of his songs. “To reunite with him was awesome,” Bieber said of Ludacris. “All my fans now love Luda because of ‘Baby,’ so having him back on this song was great. I’m taller than him now,” he added with a smile. The 18-year-old was also happy to surprise the audience with two special gifts: a copy of Believe and a bottle of his new fragrance, Girlfriend, which he described as being “not too fruity, nice and flowery.” “I told them they have to smell like all of my fans,” Bieber said of what he wanted the perfume manufacturers to incorporate in the fragrance. “Not too fruity, nice and flowery. There’s a cherry scent in there. In each bottle of Girlfriend, there’s a little bit of my sweat, it’s a secret ingredient,” he joked. In closing, Bieber thanked his devoted fans, but also offered up a message to those who aren’t yet fans or haven’t given him a chance. “I was very involved in the process [of making this album] — I played instruments, produced, wrote — so I want people to know it’s not all hype,” he said. “I want people to know I’ve been working hard on my music. Focus on the music. Don’t think I’m just this product pushed out there. I work hard, and music is really important to me. Of her inspiration for the song and the video, Perry told MTV News, “I just wanted to tell a story about myself going through this journey, maybe sometimes trying to get out of the maze. There’s good parts; there’s bad parts. Of course, there has been a lot of things that went on last year that I had to get through and overcome. I think what probably kept me going is just the purity of my belief in music.” Judging from what we saw in the recent teaser trailer, “Wide Awake” is all wrapped up in a fairytale or at least in a fairytale-like setting. Perry appears to be playing the princess, and along her journey encounters a poisoned strawberry, a curious cat, Prince Charming and a young girl. My name is Amy and on April 25 2012 at 10:55 am my dream came true . Lets start from the beginning. At 6am I woke up and got ready to try meet Justin. I’ve had so many failed attempts and with the rain pouring down, I really thought I shouldn’t bother. I went with my best friend Melissa to the train station only to find out we’d missed our train. Then the machine took my £10 and Melissa’s bag broke. I really thought this would be the worst day ever but it was far from it. We arrived at Justin’s hotel at 8:30 am and stood outside with the other Beliebers. We sung lots of songs and chanted for Justin to come out. That’s when we saw Kenny. We all waved and said hello to him and he went away. We were all getting pretty bored and it was close to 11 by now. That’s when Melissa shouted, “It’s Justin” . We all started shouting with excitement and he began to walk towards us. He put his hands to his lips and ‘shhhh-ed’ us all. Then another fan ran into me and pushed me out the way. Melissa shouted my name and looked at Justin. That’s when I felt a hand trying to grab mine. I looked up and it was Justin looking worried. I thanked him and told him how much I love him. “I love you too sweetie,” he said. After that Moshe told Justin they had to go and he got into the car followed by Jeremy, who was smiling at his son’s love with his fans. As the car drove off, everyone ran in front of it but me and Melissa stayed on the pavement and stood quietly. The car came towards us and as the back window was infront of us, he put the window down and smiled at me. “Justin Bieber you are truly my inspiration,” I said to him. He told me he loved me and to keep believing, waved and talked to some other fans then drove off waving goodbye. Now I might not have got a picture, or an autograph, but today I learned how truly amazing the love that Justin Bieber has for his fans is. He honestly cares and appreciates every single one of us. ‘The tempo and vibe they are coming from is unlike anything else that is happening in bass music right now,’ Skrillex says of Koan Sound. By Akshay Bhansali Kill The Noise Photo: Getty Images What makes Skrillex particularly exciting is his willingness to try new things, much as he did when collaborating with Benny Benassi and Gary Go on their “Cinema” remix, with the remaining members of the Doors on their track “Breaking a Sweat” and with “Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley on the upcoming single “Make It Bun Dem.” His label, OWSLA, has shed light on a versatile collection of non-cookie-cutter EDM rock stars like Porter Robinson, Zedd and Dillon Francis. So when Skrillex recently offered to introduce MTV News to two new acts, we jumped at the opportunity. First up was Jake Stanczak (stage name Kill the Noise). “He’s been DJing for a while now and been in so many different projects in the drum-and-bass scene. I feel like he’s finally found this really incredible sound that’s his own. Not to say that he hasn’t had his sound before.” Kill the Noise has heater remixes for Kanye West and Estelle, Rye Rye, and Yelawolf, and collaborated with Skrillex, 12th Planet, Datsik and Korn, in addition to his own series of successful bass singles. Throughout their friendship, Skrillex has been an ardent supporter of KTN, with OWSLA putting out his last EP, Kill Kill Kill , among other remixes. “We’ve been working hard,” KTN said. “I started sending him demos and then that’s really kind of been my inspiration, is getting feedback from him, and obviously the rest of these guys too,” he said, pointing to Koan Sound beside him. “But Sonny [Skrillex] has really kind of pushed me along.” “And this is Koan Sound,” Skrillex said, indicating Jim Bastow and Will Weeks, a pair of Bristol, U.K., DJ/producers. “Theirs is an exciting, novel form of EDM: It’s funky. It’s hype. And it’s slow. Like, 100bpm-slower-than-Moombahton slow, but in an exceptional way. “They are just so incredibly talented,” Skrillex said. “They come from Bristol. It’s a really musical, kind of artistic city in the U.K., and the tempo and vibe they are coming from is unlike anything else that is happening in bass music right now. … It’s like hip-hop, and it’s slow and it’s got this really fresh vibe, where you can rock a rager and a pool party.” “This is our first real tour in America,” Weeks said of their recent trip to Miami Music Week. “The reception we’ve been getting is pretty amazing. The stuff we released on OWSLA [ Funk Blaster EP] just goes off!” “It’s kind of mind-blowing,” Bastow said. “People recognize it instantly. That always encourages you, when you go to places that you’ve never been before and play to crowds that you’ve never played to before and they already know you’re music.” Fans can expect Skrillex and Damian Marley to release “Make It Bun Dem” soon, and new EPs for both Kill the Noise and Koan Sound will likely be served up by OWSLA this summer. And Skrillex will leave the music completely in the hands of its creators. “I do nothing but make sure their vision is exactly what their vision is,” Skrillex said, “because as soon as you f— with that, [that’s] the minute it’s not what you want them for. Both of these guys, I love them because they are making the tunes they make.” “Honestly, that’s what I love about OWSLA,” Weeks confessed. “Anything I send these guys, they take on board, and they just love anything I send them.
