Lupita Nyong’o Has A New Boyfriend Guess we have to give up on our hopes of a swirl match between Lupita Nyong’o and Jared Leto yet again. The Oscar-winning VOGUE cover girl has a new boyfriend! US Weekly got the exclusive on this one: Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o has been dating GQ Style fashion editor Mobolaji Dawodu “for six months,” a Dawodu pal reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. The Kenyan-raised actress, 33, and the tastemaker — his website says he’s “informed the visual language of cosmopolitan life and style for more than a decade” — were introduced through mutual friends in the fashion world, adds the friend. Nyong’o and Dawodu, who has a young daughter, are clearly on the same fashion page. In a June 12 Instagram he shared with his nearly 6,000 Instagram followers, they posed in coordinated denim and orange-hued outfits. Since becoming Instagram official, Dawodu, formerly an editor at Fader magazine, Details and Style.com, has let pals in on his relationship. Says the friend, “He’s discreetly told people they are dating.” Ironically Mobolaji styled Jared Leto for his last GQ cover story… He’s also the brilliant guy behind that beautiful Marley spread we featured a few weeks ago. Don’t Be Scared: Milan Christopher Dishes On Being Out In Hip-Hop, His Music Career & Says THIS About His Ex Miles Brock

Milan Christopher On “Don’t Be Scared” Milan Christopher stopped by BOSSIP’s “Don’t Be Scared” podcast this week to dish on his background, his music career and his love life. On being cast on “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” because he’s gay: “At the time I didn’t feel like that [that I was being exploited], even now I don’t feel like that. I think everything has its time and space in pop culture. Even though it can be lucrative, there are people who say ‘we gotta get a gay guy, we gotta get a black guy, we gotta get a white guy’, but I wasn’t brought on the show for that. I was brought on the show as Hazel’s friend and once they met me and seen me and aesthetically was like ‘wow who’s that guy?’ They said, ‘let’s get some more information.’” On his ex Miles Brock: “I actually just spoke to him, Tyler Perry had a movie screening maybe about a week ago. He was there and we spoke, we actually talked about some stuff. I don’t have any ill will or any gripes. I still hear interviews and there’s a bashing of Milan. I don’t really care, if you’re so popping you can pop. If you feel like you that n***, then go be that n***. I brought you to the show, I shared what was offered to me because I loved you. It wasn’t because you were this dope rapper, or they were so interested in your story. It was because of me. If you are who you say you are then you’re going to be that person regardless.” On his previous beef with Sundy Carter: “This is the thing, I have had commercials. I wasn’t this big giant superstar before I was on the show, you know it’s like people get this degrees [in reality TV] without going to school, they get these honorary degrees—I worked for my degree. He [Miles] doesn’t know how to maintain his relevancy without doing bulls** stuff or stunts. That’s a stunt, it wasn’t real. He wasn’t in a relationship with Sundy. Up And Coming Artist PJ Is Making Waves With Her Innovative Lyrics And Fresh Sound Hailing from North Carolina before later moving to Atlanta, 26-year-old PJ let us in on her new album ‘Rare’ and how her first tour has affected her transition into the limelight. “I feel like I’m the underdog, so I’m proving a lot to different people. I’m getting used to it now. It’s just a part of it. To even get signed, it wasn’t like ‘Oh you’re dope let me give you a deal’. I had to fight for that. Atlantic told me no the first time. I just feel like nobody’s counting on me to win. PJ initially started writing back in high school before catching the interest of a few record labels. She’s been signed for about a year and a half now with Atlantic and has already collaborated with a number of hot artists from Meek Mill to Lil Boosie to B.O.B. Her credentials are solid and she talked to us about how linking up with some of these artists came to pass… “Most of my songs, I didn’t really get to make them with the artists. [It’s recording demo’s] and sending them out. I think ‘Not For Long’ came out before I met B.O.B. They have teams trying to make the best thing possible for them. It’s a lot of moving pieces. Like you’ll hear ‘Oh Wiz is working, he’s looking for this,’ and then everyone starts sending stuff out. It’s kind of like friendly competition to see who gets picked.” Now, PJ is on her very first tour performing her original music from her album ‘Rare’. Meek Mill Tried To Block Drake’s Club Appearance Money In Philadelphia Everyone wondered why exactly Drake all of a sudden seemed so interested in unearthing Meek Mill and dusting off their year-old beef during the last few stops of his Summer Sixteen tour…calling him a p***y while in DC and mouthing off about the Dream Chaser in Philly. Well it seems…as usual… Meek may have actually been the one to ignite things once again. Apparently he couldn’t resist the pettiness lying latent in his soul and started scrambling to assert his dominance in Philadelphia as the date of Drake’s sold out show approached… Via TMZ : Meek Mill tried to set up a full blockade of Drake in Philadelphia, but the plan blew up in his face … TMZ has learned. Sources in both rappers’ camps tell us Meek had Sunday night marked down on his calendar — knowing full well Drake was scheduled to be behind enemy lines … performing in Meek’s hometown. We’re told Meek’s crew put out calls to several nightclubs asking them to turn down Drake if he wanted to throw an after-party. Meek’s camp also put out calls to several hundred of their homies in town, and asked them to make a show of force at the Wells Fargo Center. Things really got heated when their crews contacted each other directly — Meek’s team warning Drake’s that there better not be any disrespect when they got to Philly. WELP, that clearly had the opposite effect. Instead of keeping quiet — as was apparently his original plan — Drake got extra agitated by Meek’s pettiness and…well you saw how that went: We’re told the warning only pissed off Drake … and reignited the beef. This is exactly why he called Meek a “p****” on Saturday night … and then ripped into him even harder in Philly. For what it’s worth — Drake did NOT party in town after the concert. It’s unclear if that’s because Meek’s blockade was successful, or if Drizzy just chose to get the hell outta Dodge … with all his bodyguards nearby. As we saw, some of Meek’s Dream Chaser goons were at the concert…though it doesn’t appear that they said much to him as he exited the venue at a normal pace: Well either way it goes, mission accomplished. Drake didn’t appear at any clubs while there. We wonder if Meek has anything further to say on the topic after all this… Instagram

BOSSIP Interview With Tori Brixx You’ve probably seen her piercing eyes and bangin’ body dance across your timeline more than a few times, but Tori Brixx is making the leap from Instragram fame to real industry experience. And the transition seem to be going pretty smoothly…it was just announced today that she’s the first woman to be represented by Amber Rose’s new management company: BOSSIP caught up with the model to talk about her new role on Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out and what’s next for her as she tackles acting and her own business ventures… So for those who aren’t familiar with you, tell us a little about who you are: Well I’m Tori Brixx. I’m New to LA, just moved here. I’m from South Carolina and I got into modeling through a photo shoot with a well-known photographer (facet studios). The pics just got really popular, and people asked “who is she?” a lot, so it just went from there. Now, I’ve done work with Fashion Nova, Blac Chyna’s fashion line, and Khloe’s [upcoming] jean line — more like a face/figure for those brands. So you’re on the new season of Wild ‘N Out. How was that experience for you? The energy was so crazy on set! It was very funny, everyone was hilarious. I loved having the the opportunity to work with Nick — he’s such a professional and there was a lot to learn from him. One thing that stood out to me…we prayed before every show and that made me feel much more comfortable. We’d shoot three shows a day, and would meet to pray before each one. But it was also a great experience and wonderful opportunity to meet a lot of new people So what’s up next for you? What projects do you have that you can speak about? Well I’m currently visiting labs for my new lipstick line. I’m so excited to have my own business! Also, Terrence J hooked me up with a great, well known acting coach, so I’m doing sessions there and going on auditions. Now, you’ve gained buzz and popularity through Instagram. How do you feel about being classified as an “IG Model?” I don’t mind coming in through Instagram. Honestly, we’re on out phones/social media more than watching TV! I will say that people who say, “Oh, she’s an ‘IG model’” tend throw you into a box, and categorize you. But, I’m happy to be coming in through that media. It’s just a new time. Clearly IG modeling pays off, because it’s just landed her a contract with Amber Rose’s new management company! Nicki Minaj And Meek Mill Take The Next Step In Their Relationship Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj , as reported by E Online , are moving in together. This is great news for fans of the couple. It seems like both artists are in the news every other week regarding their relationship status. Meek recently used Instagram to tell folks to mind their business.   Their are-they, aren’t-they relationship status has drawn speculation for years, but it appears as if Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill have made a major step toward the former. A source tells E! News the couple has officially moved in together! According to TMZ, who was first to report the news, the hip-hop music stars will now call a sprawling 11,500-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills home. Nicki and Meek will have plenty of room in their new abode, which reportedly features nine bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a five-car garage. Photos shared by the outlet of the duo’s new digs also include massive closets and an expansive backyard (not to mention a pool) that overlooks Los Angeles. Not too shabby! And the Grammy-nominated rapper is seemingly enjoying sharing a space with her leading man, as a recent Instagram posted by Meek shows the two admiring what looks to be their manse from afar. “we good… WE GOOOD!” he captioned the photo. Good, indeed. Nick and Meek took their relationship public in 2015, after rumors swirled for months that a 15-carat diamond ring on that finger implied an engagement. The “Anaconda” songstress last spoke out about their relationship in April, telling Ellen DeGeneres that she considers herself “single.” “We’re still figuring each other out,” she clarified. “And in fact, I don’t even want to say that I’m in a relationship anymore, because I think when people hear that, they go to like the mean place and try to like [what, pick it apart?]” Congrats on the move, you two! What’s Beef: Dwayne Johnson Really Ain’t F****** With Vin Diesel

The beef between Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel seems to be heating up. Though there’s been no explanation of the beef between the two so far, Johnson fired another shot via his Instagram page. Johnson, after finishing  Fast and Furious 8,  thanked almost everyone on the set at the end of production. Finished strong and on to the next. That’s an officially wrap on #FastAndFurious8. Thank you to our director @fgarygray for the vision and execution. Thank you UNIVERSAL for being tremendous partners as always, thank you to all my fellow co-stars for the daily effort and grind.
