DJDM/WENN.com Hate it or love it??? Ice T Defends Coco Austin’s Braids After Coco Austin debuted a new look and got dragged, her dedicated hubby is jumping to her defense. Earlier this week the “model” decided to give fans a glimpse at her hairstyle “Da Coco Swoop” which are actually just side swept box braids. “My new braids! I call um Da Coco Swoop.. I wanted a little change up for the Summer,” she captioned a photo of the “new” style. She also made sure to add that she names ALL her hairstyles, not just her braids. “Oh and by the way.. I name all the braid styles I do even hair styles with no braids .. Its a cute thing I do.. I have many weird Coco-isms.”   Fans then obliterated Coco for cultural appropriating and for calling the popular black hairstyle her new “swoop” look. “You’re not black lol and never will be,” wrote one. “What the f*** is the “coco swoop, who are you to claim our culture?” added another. According to Coco’s hubby Ice-T there’s absolutely nothing wrong with his wife’s new look. Wrong for what? Braiding her hair?? WENN Kanye Gifts Fan In Physical Therapy Custom Yeezys Yeezys might not cure all, but they’re a pretty good incentive for a physical therapy patient. One of Kanye West’s fans posted a photo of the gift Kanye got him along with a heartfelt note of appreciation from the rapper: In Ye’s own handwriting, he told his fan that he was an inspiration and thanked him for sharing his journey. Tyler suffered from a spinal cord injury five years ago, and has been steadily making his way from being wheelchair-bound, to learning how to walk again. He is very open on his Instagram about all of his struggles and triumphs with his unfortunate paralyzation, and inspires others like him to not be ashamed of what they’re dealing with. Kanye saw Tyler’s inspirational posts about his journey, and sent the fan a pair of custom Yeezys. This comes just a few days after Kendrick was spotted helping out a disabled fan of his …look at all these rappers doing good!!!

Family Business: Kobe Adds Daughter Bianka Bella’s Name To His Tattoo Collection

WENN Kobe Bryant Flaunts New Tattoo Addition Of His Daughter’s Name Post-Lakers life is looking pretty good for Kobe. On Friday he posted a video of him getting a tattoo for his youngest daughter Bianka Bella, an addition to the names of his two other girls. He added her name proudly above the names of two daughters already inked on his arm, Giana Maria-Onore and Natalia Diamante. Dad Kobe has been in full swing ever since news of his retirement hit the airwaves, though he’s always been extremely close to his girls on and off the court. The most recent pictures of Bryant out and about have all been about family time, which is the perfect way for a retired legend to spend his now much less occupied days. It’s endearing to see Kobe proudly posting his family duties all over for the world to see, and that’s sure to continue with all three of his lil #queenmambas occupying his time.

On To The Next One: Timbaland And Swizz Beatz Set To Have A Battle Of The Beats

WENN Swizz Beats Challenges Timbaland To A Beat Showdown At A Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor press conference in Brooklyn on Friday, the highly anticipated fight wasn’t the only showdown in talks. Swizz Beatz took the stage at said event, where he called out fellow producer Timbaland for talking ish, and then challenged him to a battle of the beats. This isn’t Swizz’s first time around by any means. 10 years ago, the Bronx native battled Kanye West on stage at Summer Jam. Much more recently, Beatz and Just Blaze took on one another in an epic, star-studded Instagram Live battle. After Blaze and Swizz’s showdown, there were rumors swirling of a Timbaland v Pharell matchup to come, but it seems we’re gonna see Timbo take on Swizz first. Timbaland happily accepted the challenge, and the battle of the beats is on. There’s no official date set for this event, but it’s sure to be one for the books.

Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images So sad… Sevyn Reveals Depression Battle Sevyn is revealing intimate details about her personal life including a serious battle with depression. The “Just Being Honest” songstress is revealing that she secretly contemplated ending her life and only her family members knew about it. “I dealt with depression on a very serious level for like a year-and-a-half, and I never said anything to my fans,” Sevyn told Vibe Vixen. “Obviously, my mom and my dad and my brother, a few family members, knew about it — but it was really, really hard. I wanted to kill myself, I really did. And through my family, and God and prayer, it turned around. So what triggered Sevyn’s bout with depression? Turning 30. “Turning 30 was a big trigger for me,” added Sevyn. “This is not like when you graduate high school and you get your diploma. You go to college for four years, or whatever period of time, and you get your degree. You did it, and you get to move on. I’ve literally been doing the same exact thing every day with the same amount of intensity and focus, since I was 15 years old. To look up and be 30 years old, and to feel like this hasn’t happened yet, but you can’t quit because you’re just going to be throwing away all the years that you put into it [music]. That in itself can take a toll. I don’t care what you do in life, you want to be successful, you want to feel like you accomplished certain things.” We’re so glad to see that Sevyn’s in a much better place. She’s currently promoting her debut album “Girl Disrupted” that hit stores July 7. Will you be buying???

Police Shed Light On Argument That Led To Fatal Beating Of Black Tourist In Greece This story is downright sickening and the more we learn, the more upset we become. According to the latest NY Daily News reports , Bakari Henderson, a recent University of Arizona graduate visiting Greece to work on a photoshoot, may have been beaten to death as the result of an argument over a request to take a photo. On Sunday Greek newspaper Kathimerini reported that witnesses say Henderson and his friends wanted to take a photo with a waitress at the Bar Code bar but that request upset a bouncer. It’s still unclear how things escalated from there. Henderson graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in in business administration and sports management just two weeks ago. The 22-year-old was visiting the isle of Zakynthos when he was killed early Friday morning. Greek police have arrested two bar employees and charged them with murder while another six Serbian tourists have been arrested in the days since the attack. As previously reported Eva Marcille’s reportedly been tapped to jump into the RHOA drama next season and even filmed scenes with NeNe Leakes. Eva would be an especially interesting addition considering that she’s currently dating Atlanta politician Michael Sterling who’s vying to become Mayor of the city. Jason LaVeris/Getty Images Reports of Eva’s RHOA casting also included rumors that she’s replacing either Cynthia Bailey or Porsha Williams but according to at least one of the ladies, that’s untrue. “Chile I’m signed sealed and delivered,” wrote Porsha on Instagram. WENN  Snoop Dogg Salutes Jay Z But Admits Not Having Tidal Subscription While the excitement for Jay Z’s album escalated the closer it got, the conversations that everyone had revolved around not wanting to actually get a Tidal subscription. The streaming service has been suffering to pull subscribers from Spotify and Apple Music, and exclusives like Jay’s album (and the rest of his discography) are one of the only things driving users to the site. Snoop D-O Double G is just like the rest of us. Not only does he not have Tidal, but explained that he doesn’t even know how it works and was searching for ‘4:44’ on iTunes until he had his friend send bootleg it for him. Even Hip Hop legends are out here bootlegging music for free.99. Poor Jay Z. Whether he has Tidal or not, Snoop got to listen to the album and has nothing but love and praise for the Roc-A-Fella mogul. He sends an important message to all of his Instagram viewers, preaching to “practice supporting mother f-er’s other than yourself.” Now please, one of Snoop’s children: go show him how to sign up for Tidal.

Future Responds To Jay-Z’s 4:44/em> Mention Is there a trap beef brewing between Future and Jay-Z over his latest album’s lyrics ? If you’ll recall, fans spotted some Future shade on “Kill Jay-Z” when Jay imagined what his kids’ upbringing might look like if he didn’t straighten up in his relationship with Beyonce: In the Future, other n*ggas playin’ football with your son Which, of course, most believe refers to this: Well, Future has something to say about that. Sort of. Future Snapped himself with a stack of cash up to his ear — an action Jay-Z proclaimed was a definite no-no on his latest album — and captioned it “U ain’t got the juice like dat.” Well, Jigga can’t sway everyone. Where’s Swizz? Mashonda And Alicia Keys Peacefully Party Together In Berlin [Video]

Mashonda And Alicia Keys Club Together In Germany The side-chick saga that led to Swizz Beats’ divorce from Mashonda and marriage to Alicia Keys is beyond water under the bridge at this point. So much so, in fact, that Mashonda and Alicia’s relationship goes well beyond cordial and mature into an all-out firendship at this point. Alicia and Mashonda have both gone on record to praise their blended family preciousness and talk about how they were all able to mature to get things working functionally for the kids…but we’ve never seen these two just chilling one-on-one without any of the boys or Swizz around. But, as both ladies were in Berlin last night for Swizz’s “No Comission” Art Event , the two decided to hit a spot together and rock out to Kendrick Lamar. Welp good for them! We definitely don’t want to tell all the adulterers out there that they’re on the right track…but things certainly worked out swimmingly for this trio. Unless Mashonda is on some secret mission to get close enough to Alicia to end her life and not be implicated…but it LOOKS like everyone is cool.
