Is this the universe’s way of saying “Hey, I know 2017 is the worst and so many terrible things are happening, so here, have this delightful bit of celebrity gossip”? Because we’re having a hard time interpreting this any other way. We don’t know much about the pregnancy so far, but we do know a few things. The father of Kylie’s baby is Travis Scott, the rapper she’s currently dating. She’s reportedly due sometime in February , which means that she got pregnant very, very early in their relationship. Several sources say she’s having a girl! And although Kylie hasn’t personally confirmed the news yet, both TMZ and People have, which means that yeah, this is all true. What a time to be alive! “But wait,” you may be wondering. “Why hasn’t anyone from the family confirmed anything yet? What’s the holdup?” Don’t worry, friends — a Kardashian insider has explained it all in a new report from People! “Kylie is very naive,” the source says. “Spending time with other people’s kids is obviously completely different than being a mom 24/7.” “Kylie of course has no idea about all the hard work and sleepless nights.” … So wait, Kylie is four months pregnant and she thinks having a baby of her own is going to be like hanging with some random kids every once in a while? Oh, honey. The source also says that “With Tyga, whenever things were good, Kylie said she wanted a baby. Between spending lots of time with her nieces and nephews, and being around Tyga’s son, she claimed she was ready.” It sounds like despite how desperate she’s always been to grow up , Kylie really isn’t that mature, huh? What a shocker. This chatty insider goes on to say that “Her family would beg her to protect herself. They were very concerned.” “They still think Kylie is to young to have a baby,” and Kris Jenner was “shocked” by the news that her baby girl is having a baby of her own. “It definitely took some getting used to. But Kylie has always been very headstrong, she’s always wanted to do her own thing despite what Kris says.” But at the end of the day, “of course Kris just wants the best for her daughter and supports her no matter what.” And it’s a good thing, because according to all the reports we’ve heard so far, Kylie is really, really excited about having a baby.
