While the iconic actress Fisher belonged to all of us in a sense, the single closest person to her was her only child, daughter Billie Lourd. Billie is 24 years old. Like her mom, Lourd was born in Los Angeles, California, and as the daughter of an actress and talent agent, had showbiz in her blood. Perhaps knowing that 2016 is in serious need of redemption, Drizzy and Jen made it Instagram official last night by posting this coupled-up pic: Neither party has officially confirmed that they’re dating, but they knew damn well what the reaction to this photo would be, so at the very least, they’re enjoying the speculation. Of course, new couple announcements often result in significant butthurt from envious exes, and despite their mega-star status, Drake and RiRi are not above this phenomenon. You might think that the ill will would come from Jen’s most recent ex, Casper Smart, who basically made a career out of being Mr. J-Lo. But thus far, Smart has remained silent on the issue, (possibly because he’s still enjoying life on Jen’s pay roll). In response, Rihanna gifted Lopez a pair of $4,000 boots from her own Manolo Blahnik line. She included a hand-written note, reading: “To the baddest. Because I know you’re gonna wear them better than me.” This might be the clearest indication yet that Drake and Jen are getting serious, as clearly something big transpired if Rih went from sending wildly expensive gifts to issuing passive-aggressive social media middle fingers in just a few short months. It’s an unexpected move on Rihanna’s part, as a running joke throughout both of her relationships with Drake was that she just didn’t seem that into the guy. Flip or Flop’s Christina and Tarek El Moussa announced their stunning split two weeks ago (though they actually had split months ago). So with Christmas last weekend … how did they handle it? It looks like the HGTV couple is deeply committed to co-parenting (and putting up the best possible front), because they did just that. Both spent the holidays with their adorable children. The blonde mom of two posted several family photos from the former couple’s Christmas Eve and Christmas celebrations on her Instagram. She joked, as many parents likely did on Sunday, about how difficult it is to wrangle two little ones and actually take a decent pic together. “When you can’t get both kids to cooperate for a pic at the same time,” she jokingly wrote on Instagram, along with the images below: Meanwhile, her soon-to-be ex-husband Tarek posted a sweet photo of him holding daughter Taylor and son Brayden earlier on Christmas. “We love our amazing kids so much!! Wishing you all a very merry Christmas from California!” Tarek wrote, and it looks like they had one. Earlier this month, the two stars of the hit home renovation series released the following statement in the wake of their surprising split: “Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage.” “We had an unfortunate misunderstanding six months ago.” “The police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed.” The El Moussas then confirmed that they had split up months ago, but sought counseling to “sort out” their relationship after the incident. It was there that the pair decided ultimately to separate and co-parent their children, while continuing to film new episodes for HGTV. “We are committed to being the best parents we can be.” “We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively,” they said, “and plan to continue our professional life together.” They are both moving on already, though, not reconciling. Christina is dating Gary Anderson , a contractor who has worked with the family and who witnessed the incident with Tarek in question. As for the “incident,” by this point, we all know the details of what went on thanks to TMZ breaking the news six months after the fact. In May, Tarek responded to a fight with Christina by grabbing a gun, storming out of their Orange County home and heading into the woods. Christina feared her husband was going to kill himself and dialed 911; Many police officers (and a helicopter) then arrived on the scene. When authorities located a distraught Tarek, he claimed that he had only taken a gun into the wilderness as protection against animals. El Moussa said he needed to “blow off steam” but willingly surrendered all of his legally registered firearms, and no charges were filed. It is believed that Flip or Flop will end after this season.
