A man was shot several times by several people driving at a K-Mart parking lot on Carlisle Boulevard on Sunday evening. A friend of the victim, Anthony Daly, was inside the store when the shooting took place. “The store employees came in, and were like, ‘There were gun shots. There were gun shots,’ and I ran out and saw him lying there on the street with bullet holes in his arm, his leg,” said Daly. According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the victim was shoplifting at the store and allegedly pulled a knife on a security employee. “As the shoplifter was running away, subjects in a white Cadillac crashed into him. Then, they fired two shots at the offender, hitting him two times,” said Officer Robert Gibbs, of the Albuquerque Police Department. Police believe the suspects in the vehicle got into an altercation with the man earlier. However, Daly said the incident “was gang-related. It was obviously gang-related.” The man is in stable condition at a hospital, police said. According to authorities, the shooters drove off southwest on Carlisle Boulevard, and remain on the loose. “It’s insane how people will come out and shoot out for a little argument,” said Daly. youtube 7abc
WHAT THE HELL ??! 18 Human Heads Found At Chicago Airport Via Fox News and Chicago Sun Times reports: The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed Monday night that it had received 18 human specimens that were found at O’Hare International Airport on Monday. Sources said the specimens are human heads, still covered in skin and wrapped in plastic. Sources tell FOX 32 News that they came from Italy, and may have been sent to be used for some kind of scientific research or a medical experiment. Authorities said no foul play was suspected. U.S. Customs and Border Protection were investigating but declined to comment Monday night. The 18 human heads that arrived at O’Hare International Airport just before Christmas — and remained there until this week — now appear to be on the last leg of their final journey. The medical specimens had been in limbo since just before Christmas, when they arrived on a flight from Rome and were held up due to improper paperwork, said Mary Paleologos, a spokeswoman with the Cook County medical examiner’s office, whose office took custody of the heads this week. “Now the cremation service has showed up with the proper paperwork,” Paleologos said. “The medical examiner’s office will photograph and X-ray each of the heads” before they are released. The heads were originally shipped from the United States to Rome for medical research, and were then shipped back again to be cremated, Paleologos said. She said she doesn’t know the name of the cremation service or where the heads began their journey in the United States. There are 18 headless torsos somewhere filing lost luggage complaints…

Conveniently, McClane’s son happens to be there, and also happens to be an American spy, so naturally the two of them team up to put the kibosh on the terrorist’s plans. The third trailer is out now, and yep, it is explodey. Yeah, buildings are damaged, wisecracks are made, and Ode To Joy returns as McClane’s theme song. But there’s no hint of yippie-kay-yay in this trailer, and that is in and of itself a miracle. Not as miraculous as the idea that McClane and his son wouldn’t be flattened into bloody wet pancakes when they fall into water like that, but a miracle nonetheless. Here’s the cute, expectant couple at home today: The new Voice mentor, 35, and soccer player Gerard Pique, 25, sure look happy. “I could have another nine months like this,” the Colombian singer wrote. He got Shakira pregnant earlier this year. She announced her pregnancy September 19 via Facebook. “Shakira is really looking forward to being a mother,” a source close to the international superstar said. “They definitely want more than one together.” The “Tortura” singer will welcome a baby boy. Shakira and Pique met while in 2010 shooting the video for her World Cup theme song, “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).” Shakira will join Usher as a new mentor for The Voice Season 4; the musicians, who have already begun filming, will fill in for Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green. Seyfried, who shares what the magazine describes as Jackman’s “wildly inappropriate sense of humor,” , says, “We sexualized everything as much as we could. It was really funny, the moments we could find . . . It’s like every movie has another version, another satirical version of itself.” Hmm….wildly inappropriate sense of humor, huh? I’d say that makes Jackman a prime suspect in the international headlines-making James Marsden IMDb bio-tampering case that I wrote about on Nov. 14. The Bachelorette actor told the Hollywood Reporter that “a famous actor friend of mine,” whom he would not finger by name, “likes to go into other people’s bios and add things,” which resulted in IMDb’s erroneous assertion that Marsden is a big Barry Manilow fan. While saying someone’s a fan of the “Mandy” man is not exactly wildly appropriate, it sure sounds like the kind of prank that a show-tunes loving actor like Jackman — who co-starred with Marsden in the X-Men films — might play on a pal. As the media debates whether Brad Pitt’s nonsensical Chanel No. 5 ad is bad for the international fashion brand, it’s a good time check in with New York City dermatologist Dr. Jonathan Zizmor. The skin specialist, who has achieved cult status in the Big Apple because he markets his work as vigorously as Chanel does its clothing and bags mdash: albeit mostly on subway trains — got a national shout-out in the fourth parody ad that Saturday Night Live aired over the weekend, and he tells me it’s done absolutely nothing for business. In the parody, which I’ve embedded below, SNL cast member Taram Killam refers to Zizmor (left) as “the subway doctor” who can remove embarrassing tattoos, such as “an anchor that says ‘slut.'” Given that Zizmor got a free shot of publicity in the fake-ad series, which was a hot topic on morning TV and radio shows as well as the blogosphere on Monday, I thought I’d call him to see if he was reaping any benefits from the whirlwind. “Zero,” said Dr. Zizmor, who’s based in Manhattan and told me that I was the first person to call him. He had not seen the SNL clip, and may stil have not seen it. After I emailed him a Hulu link , Zizmor called back to say that he was unable to watch the clip because he didn’t have Adobe Flash installed on his computer. Fortunately, one of his staffers had watched it and recounted it to him. Regarding the parody itself, Zizmor said, “I have no comment positive or negative about it,” but when we did ask him if the SNL name-check has spurred any business or even curious calls, Zizmore said, “Nothing,” adding “That’s why I’m not even excited. It’s amazing that it does nothing.” Maybe Dr. Z isn’t all atwitter over this, but I still think it’s funny and it only reinforces my feeling that Killam is one of the long-running sketch show’s most valuable players. I also called Chanel USA to ask if the fashion giant had issued any reaction on behalf of the media debate over the $7-million commercial, which features Pitt as the feminine fragrance’s first male spokesman. The company had no comment, but I can’t imagine how this could be bad for the brand. Until Pitt made headlines last week, the male most associated with the Chanel brand was Karl Lagerfeld , who, despite his iconic status as a fashon over-achiever, looks a bit like a platinum-haired comic-book vampire.
