The whole ordeal began when Kensli Taylor Davis’ mother called a Dairy Queen and asked for a Moana -themed cake. A manager at the store who took the order misheard the request and thought she said “marijuana.” When Davis’ mother went to go pick up the cake, she received one that featured a picture of a marijuana plant as well as an extremely high My Little Pony. So my mama called and ordered me a cake telling them how much I loved Moana. (Because really I do) Well needless to say these people thought she said marijuana That ice cream cake was still good though ” Cassandra Walker, the Dairy Queen employee who made the cake, opened up about the incident to USA Today after being fired. “This is back-to-school time. I have two little girls here,” explained Walker, who worked at Dairy Queen for around a year. “I have a car that needs fixing. It’s not funny to me.” She also says she made the cake with the approval of her manager. “The manager stood behind me while I pulled the images off the internet. She walked by as I decorated the cake. As I boxed the cake up, she was the one who walked it up to the front.” “This was a simple misunderstanding from the beginning,” Al Autry, one of the owners of the Dairy Queen, said in a statement given to USA Today . “Our cake decorator designed a cake based on what she thought she heard the customer order. When the customer picked it up and said it was not what she ordered, we immediately apologized for the error and offered to redesign it the way she originally intended. The customer said it was fine, paid for the cake and left.” Walker was eventually offered her job back, but says it was Autry who fired her in the first place. She declined the offer.

The moral of the story here: literally ANYONE can be body shamed, even people who probably work out more than 300 days a year and have bodies that look like they were sculpted by God himself. Instagram used to have really aggressive nudity clauses that I guess they have relaxed on knowing that nudity isn’t that big of a deal. I guess they were sensitive to nudity because they are a publicly traded company with people to answer to. I guess they didn’t want the site to be straight up porn, because anything uncensored on the internet always turns into straight up porn…. But then the people spoke, the titty activists who started being mad about nipples or breast feeding pics being deleted. They felt if it was their body, it was their right, and if it was their free profile it was their right, and eventually facebook loosed the noose it had on people…and started letting some nudity slip… It was like if all people, even celebs, just want to post nude selfies all day, we kinda need to let them….and then if all girls want to do the same, to be like their celeb mentors and idols, we kinda need to let them…. It's time to move over, Florida Man . You must now officially make room for Long Island Man. Or, to be more precise we suppose, you must make room for Short Long Island Man, based on a hilarious/disturbing new video that has gone very viral in a very short period of time. In a video posted to Twitter this week, a woman is heard at the Bagel Boss shop in Bay Shore, New York, asking a middle-aged man wearing running shoes, shorts and a striped polo shirt why he thinks it's acceptable to “degrade women.” We don't know the circumstances that prompted this question… only that it led to an epic tirade in response. “Degrade – why is it okay for women to say, 'Oh you’re five feet on dating sites, you should be dead,'” the man fires back as he hurls a newspaper he was holding to the floor. “That's okay?” Wait, what, the woman responds? No one at the store said anything like that. “Women in general have said it on dating sites. You think I'm making that sh-t up,” the patron screams back while throwing his arms in the air. “Everywhere I go I get the same f-cking smirk with the biting lip.” This is actually pretty sad. The poor guy clearly has understandable self-esteem issues… which is not an excuse for the way he acted here. But it's still something everyone viewing the footage ought to consider. Another customer then interjects, telling the man to “calm down.” But this has the opposite effect. “Shut your mouth. You're not God or my father or my boss,” he yells. When another customer also tells the man to chill out, his anger only reaches a new level. “Dude you want to step outside? You want to step outside? Huh? I'm not scare of you, pal.” The third time, however, is NOT the charm for this guy. After telling yet another patron to also “shut up” and challenging him to a fight, the bitter dating site user gets tackled to the grond. Hard. As you might expect, and mostly understand, the Internet is having a field day with this video. To wit: But we sort of have two different reactions: FIRST, imagine if this were an overweight woman, responding in sadness and anger over how she is looked at by men. We somehow doubt folks would be mocking her in the same way. SECOND, couldn't you see this guy going on some sort of shooting spree in the near future? Based on the domestic violence history of nearly all mass shooters, toxic masculinity is to blame for this epidemic as much as any other societal issue. The guy already felt snubbed by the opposite sex. Now, he probably feels like the laughing stock of pretty much everyone out there. It's scary to consider.
