A new Nazi regime got underway on Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 Episode 2. Hmmm… perhaps we ought to phrase that differently: Miranda Bailey worked her first day as Chief of Surgery on  Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 Episode 2 . There. That’s better. At the outset of the hour, Meredith lured Bailey into what was meant to be a surprise party… only for the Chief to end the festivities before they began by giving a very quick pep talk about how everyone should be out there saving lives. Later on – after Bailey charged her team to come up with a super fast treatment for very tall patient who wanted to bring the Internet to Africa – Callie revealed her former nickname to the interns. In front of Ben. Oops! Meredith then went ahead and referred to Bailey as a “Bond villain.” Once the patient’s deadline arrived, the Amazon women collapsed on top of Wilson, prompting Bailey to to Ben that admit she made a mistake. This led to an actual pep talk from Webber (along with the gift of his old stethoscope). It served to inspire Bailey, who promised everyone she would do better the next day. She was gonna “win.” In other developments: Amelia really wanted to label her relationship with Owen. Only they couldn’t come up with anything. So they just kept making out. Arizona overheard Callie gushihg over the new woman she was dating and assured her ex that she could tell her about it. Isaac sort of hilariously tried to hit on Jo.
