Rapper Rick Ross is reportedly doing just fine at the moment, despite suffering a seizure and losing consciousness during a flight today from Fort Lauderdale to Memphis. An onlooker tells TMZ the artist collapsed soon after take-off, as his entourage leaped out of their seats to tell airplane personnel what was going on. A doctor on board proceeded to administer CPR and the jet made an emergency landing. As he was wheeled off in a gurney, sources say Ross started to come around again. Just a couple hours later, he was Tweeting and even claiming he still planned to perform at the FedEx Forum in Memphis. Tweeted Wale, who is apparently a fellow rapper and friend: “I just talked to Ross…he’s 100 pct ok..” We’re glad to hear it. [Photo: WENN.com]

MTV News has an exclusive excerpt from a forthcoming XXL interview Tyler conducted with Nas. By Rob Markman Nas on the cover of XXL magazine Photo: XXL Who knew that in 1991 when Nasty Nas appeared on Main Source’s “Live at the Barbecue,” the smart-alecky teenage lyricist who proclaimed that when he was 12 he “went to hell for snuffin’ Jesus” would grow into one of rap’s most respected artists? Twenty years later, Nas is preparing his 10th solo album and is still considered one of hip-hop’s elite. For the November issue (on stands October 25), XXL magazine is celebrating Nasir’s storied run with a special interview in which Tyler, the Creator , a smart-alecky rookie who also famously rhymed about getting on Jesus’ bad side, conducts a Q&A with the veteran Queens MC. MTV News obtained an exclusive excerpt from the interview, wherein Tyler quizzes God’s Son on his growth as an artist and riding go-karts. Tyler, the Creator : Do you ever go go-karting or, like, to amusement parks or anything? Nas : Nah, nah, nah. Tyler : Go go-karting. It’s fun as f—. I went last week. Sore as sh– the next day. ‘Cause then, if you go with your friends and sh–, it’s like a competition on the low. Then y’all just be bumping into each other, like, “No, f— that. I want to win.” It’s amazing. Nas : Dude, maybe I should hang with you more. Tyler : You should hang out with me for a day. We went egging the other night, and I hit this lady in the back of the head. And she like … It’s kind of f—ed up, but it was funny. Did you ever think, like… OK, you dropped Illmatic . How old were you? Like, 18? Nas : When I started it, I was 18. I dropped it when I was 20. Tyler : So you was my age when Illmatic came out? Nas : Yeah. The first thing I did was “Live at the Barbecue.” That was ’91. Tyler : So, right, when you was coming out, I wasn’t even born yet, basically? I was born in 1991, so I was probably just popping out. Did you think, 20 years later, you would still be, like, here? Like, you’re having a f—in’ interview, about to do another magazine shoot. Like, did you think, 20 years from now, back then, that there was even a chance that you could still be doing that? Nas : At that point, I only cared about making the biggest impact in rap. But I didn’t care about 20 years from … No, I got to say no. I didn’t. I didn’t really think that much on it. ‘Cause at that time, dudes were peaking at, like, their fourth album, and that was it. Like, a lot of guys before us, they would, after their third or fourth album, that was it. Tyler : They was done. Nas : You know what I mean? So I didn’t think I would be up to right here. Tyler : That’s ’cause you, Em, Jay, Snoop, like, you guys all started when you was exactly my age. So we could relate right then and there. But it’s just weird that you guys — ’cause I even asked Snoop, and he was like, “I didn’t even think that I could go this far with that.” And the fact that you guys are still here makes me just always think, like, F—, could I? Nas : Oh, you definitely can. People — someone like you is, you’re interested, for a lot of reasons. So someone like you, you can’t wait to see what’s next. You can’t wait to see how you’re going to deal with what you’ve been experiencing now that you’re in the rap game or in the music game. It’s going to be great and exciting for you as you go along. Tyler : This sh–‘s crazy. I have, like, a goal list in my head, and it gets checked off, like, all the time. And it’s just the weirdest sh–. This game is crazy. It’ll drive you crazy, too. Comedian and actor Chris Rock gets “reel” in the latest issue of Vibe magazine. The Hollywood themed issue covers a variety of topics and in the interview with Rock they asked about the trend of Black comedians having to wear dresses. “I mean, hey, lots of comedians dress up like women, not just Black. It’s one of the oldest tricks in the book. Men in drag…There was Mrs. Doubtfire . [Adam] Sandler’s next movies is Jack and Jill. He plays his brother and sister. [The Black community] doesn’t have that many movies, so if there’s only four Black movies in a year and two of them star Black men in dresses, I could see how that would upset some people. But that’s a job for some people. Tyler Perry is great in a dress, but I don’t want to see Denzel or Will Smith in a dress. And I don’t think we’re in any danger of seeing that.” So would Rock ever do a Tyler Perry movie? Pick up the latest issue of Vibe to find out! Oprah’s talk show lasted 25 years, so it’s safe to assume she made plenty of mistakes along the way. Luckily, she learned from one pretty early. The mogul recently revealed on Entertainment Tonight, that back in 1988, she had her biggest on-air regret. And that would be the moment she towed lard on stage to represent the 67 pounds of weight she’d just lost (and never ended up keeping off). “The producers were like, ‘Oh my God, you’re gonna drag the wagon of fat?!’ I would’ve said ‘Don’t do it! It’s a great TV moment, but don’t do it!’ Big, big, big, big, big, big mistake. When I look at that show, I think it was one of the biggest ego trips of my life.” She also reveals to ET what makes her angry and her biggest guilty pleasure: Oprah Winfrey Is Forbes’ Top-Earning Woman In Entertainment Oprah Appointed CEO Of OWN Network

Rosie O’Donnell will soon premiere a new talk show, but she’s even more excited about the new woman in her life. “I did not expect it when I met her at Starbucks,” O’Donnell tells People of Michelle Rounds , who she started dating a few months ago. “She didn’t look like any lesbian I’d ever met. But it’s fun and very exciting.” O’Donnell, whose The Rosie Show debuts on OWN on October 10, says she’s “in menopause” and has been having “really bad hot flashes,” but her therapist gave her another explanation recently for the heat: “[It’s] because you’re also in love.” Awww, that’s sweet. Country star Sara Evans is livid with her ex-husband for allegedly causing irreparable harm to their children by badmouthing her on Anderson Cooper’s new show. As a result, she’s requested a restraining order against him. Craig Schelske appeared on Anderson on September 20, claiming he lost custody of his kids because Sara falsely said that Craig is a porn-obsessed adulterer . Sara claims the interview not only violated a 2010 temporary injunction blocking him from bashing Sara in public, it also “caused irreparable harm to the children.” On September 21, a day after the interview aired, Sara filed a request for a restraining order to block Craig from commenting about the divorce proceedings. A judge signed the order the same day. A source close to Craig responded, “This is a violation of his First Amendment rights, and he won’t take it lying down.” Doesn’t a legal injunction count for something? Just saying. [Photo: WENN.com]
