Jon Gosselin is just your average, blue-collar Joe these days. These amazing pictures obtained by TMZ show the former reality slob on the job – installing solar panels on the roof of a storage building – earlier this week. Guy was such a waste of space, it’s nice to see him make the planet a nicer one with Green Pointe Energy, a Pennsylvania renewable energy company. Guess that sales and marketing gig didn’t pan out … GO HARD (HAT) OR GO HOME : Hey, at least he’s got a job in this economy and gave up on the whole reality star thing. Give Jon credit on both fronts .

Is Lindsay Lohan doubly screwed after being busted for grand theft? That’s a possibility, given that she was on probation anyway for her DUI, and that her probation standing was shaky even before her recent felony arrest. Lohan may avoid jail , but it’s far from a lock. Even if the grand theft charges were dropped completely, a judge could revoke Lindsay’s DUI probation. FUR REAL : LiLo could go to jail either way. [Photo: Pacific Coast News] The judge in the probation case can hold a hearing, sans jury, and has the sole power to decide if Lindsay ran afoul of her probation and take it away. In a criminal case, the D.A. must prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. In a probation violation case, the judge has all the power and more leeway. Sources connected with the D.A.’s office say prosecutors could ask for a year in jail if the judge decides Lindsay violated the terms of her probation. Chances are, there’s a case to be made that she has done so. Judge Elden Fox in Beverly Hills, who’s lost patience with Lohan and revoked her probation before, would be the one making the call too. Not good.

Having just recovered from the presence of Jersey Shore , the good folks of The Sunshine State must next deal with The Real Housewives of Miami . We’re very sorry for them. The first season of this new Bravo franchise kicks off on February 22 and the cast members spoke to The Miami New Times this week about what we can expect. Read on for excerpts from the interview … Why did you sign on for this show? Lea Black : At the time I wasn’t sure. And now, I think its become a phenomenon. I think Bravo has created a pop culture phenomenon. At first, I had trepidations about it… It didn’t start out as a Housewives show. It kind evolved into one. And I guess, just live life and see what happens. Take your chances and go for it. What kind of drama can we expect? Lea: It’s going to be fun above the belt drama. I think that Bravo is a master at creating fabulous reality television. I think what they have done is take the best of everything, and make it fun, exciting, and upbeat. There is quite a bit of drama, but I wouldn’t say it’s hair pulling, table flipping drama. I would say it is a different type of drama. People will be fascinated by the characters. Compare yourselves to Jersey Shore. Alexia Echevarria : I mean, we have a completely different cast. The way we carry and behave ourselves is very different too, so I don’t think there is any similarities or comparisons when comparing our shows. Except for maybe we showcase Miami the same way they did – the fabulous places, mingling with different people. At the same time, we’re putting Miami in a completely different light and in a positive light. Are you afraid how your friends/family will be portrayed in the media? Marysol Patton : For me and my clients, it will be great. For my mom, she doesn’t go on the Internet or read weeklies, so I don’t think she will know what to expect.

In her quest to close out Season 25 with a bang, Oprah offered Mike Vick the opportunity to solidify his comeback in America’s hearts and minds. And this fool is reneging on his acceptance of the invitation. Of all the moves Michael Vick has made, this is one of the more curious ones. He has bailed on Oprah. The Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback — the NFL’s comeback player of the year — canceled the taping of an interview (subject matter: doing time for his part in an illegal dogfighting ring, his return to the NFL, his work with the Humane Society and his future) — with the queen of gab. “After careful consideration, I will need to postpone the taping of the Oprah Winfrey interview. I admire and respect Oprah and hope to be able to participate in an interview in the future.” There’s a report out of Philly that quotes sources saying the Eagles pressured Vick to cancel. Maybe he decided it was a bad idea to do the interview so close to the Westminster dog show. Maybe it’s connected to getting the Eagles’ franchise tag. In any event, given that her show is going off the air, a rebooking might not be likely. Joe Flint of the Los Angeles Times thinks Vick is making the right move in keeping a low profile. “Going on ‘Oprah Winfrey,’ though, to be given some sort of blessing by the queen of talk is too much too soon,” Flint writes. “Part of what Vick needs to learn and show is humility, and going on a popular TV show to say look at me now is not humble.” We don’t know about that one. Justin’s usually styled do has been made to look like he stuck his finger in an electrical socket. The cover was shot by Terry Richardson and it will certainly get the beliebers talking. Justin’s take on sex – I don’t think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them,” Bieber says. When asked if he believes in abstinence until marriage, Bieber – who is reportedly dating fellow teen star Selena Gomez – seems wary: “I think you should just wait for the person you’re…in love with.” Justin on his voice changing – Bieber’s voice began to change on his last tour. He’s now working with a vocal couch, which involves doing 20 push-ups before before a session to warm up his chest. “He’s got a nice tone tone to his voice now,” says his vocal coach Jan Smith. “It’s a good texture, but it doesn’t sound like what his fans think he sounds like. He’ll get four octaves eventually. He’s still young.” Justin on abortion – ”I really don’t believe in abortion,” Bieber says. “It’s like killing a baby?” How about in cases of rape? “Um. Would the girls still swoon over Justin Bieber without Justin Bieber’s signature haircut? Jimmy Kimmel decided to find out last night on his ABC talk show. When the host threw the idea out there, the star was surprisingly receptive. After they returned from a commercial break, the air fell out of the room. Justin Bieber displayed a completely shaved, bald head: “I like it,” Kimmel said, admiring his handiwork. “You look like a young Lex Luthor!” Bieber concurred after a moment, “I kind of like it, too.” But was it real or just a funny prank the two pulled on the audience (with an assist from Diddy)?
