Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is one of my favorite models, I don’t really know why because I am not a balding dude who likes the idea of a girl who is into my people provided they are rich and famous… You know because she dates a rich and famous bald guy… I guess I am into her because she’s a fucking babe, was a nude model turned MEGAN FOX, by replacing MEGAN FOX In a shitty movie…who went back to being a nude model… All while being from the UK, and that alone made her glamourous, like Kate Moss…who could rail lines of meth off a rockstars cock in a 5 star hotel and you’d like “model”…not gutter whore… I’m a fan…and these pics for Vioet Grey are a fucking win… This is what she had to say in her interview…if you are into that kind of thing… On Her Very First Nude Photoshoot: “I had just started modeling,” she says. “I was in London, and it was a different time. I honestly think I was a lot more free when I was younger. Kate Moss was my favorite supermodel; she set the standard in terms of nudity as fashion and art. I think being comfortable in one’s skin is the most attractive quality a girl can have. Beauty for me is about a good workout routine — that and a signature scent, preferably one that smells like a garden rose.” On The Business of Being “Rosie”: “I believe who you surround yourself with is a reflection of yourself. There’s a quote I have always liked by Will Rogers: ‘It takes a lifetime to build a good reputation, but you can lose it in a minute’” On her Career Ambitions: “Being a model, being an actress—it’s not decided by you. You’re chosen. You’re cast, and that’s fantastic, of course. There is always a sense of pride when you make the cut, but there has always been a big part of me that wants to make things happen for myself. I’d like to get myself into a position where I’m starting something on my own. That’s my focus for this year.” Here are some of the pics… The post Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for Violet Grey of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepfather .
This week marks the 21st anniversary of the death of Kurt Cobain and an acclaimed documentary about the legendary Nirvana singer is set to air on May 4. So it’s not hard to see why the folks at Rolling Stone figured the time would be right for a sentimental sit-down with Kurt’s 22-year-old daughter, Frances Bean Cobain (also a executive producer for the film about her dad). However, it seems that Frances is none too interested in romanticizing her father’s short life, and some of her comments might come as a shock to the millions of rock fans who worship at the altar of Kurt. “I don’t really like Nirvana that much,” Frances reportedly said with a grin , when asked about her father’s music. “Sorry, promotional people, Universal. The grunge scene is not what I’m interested in.” Frances noted, however, that she does enjoy the songs “Territorial Pissings” and “Dumb,” describing the latter as a “stripped-down version of Kurt’s perception of himself.” Frances refers to her father as “Kurt” throughout the interview (She was just an infant when he died.), and while she may not have known him well, she believes that he would be uncomfortable with the level of adulation he still receives from fans: “He didn’t want to be the fucking voice of a generation,” she says. “He had to sacrifice every bit of himself to his art, because the world demanded it of him.” View Slideshow: 7 Iconic Photos of Kurt Cobain Surprising as all of that may be, Frances’ most shocking comments are reserved for her discussion of her father’s decision to take his own life. She states that Cobain would be “just another guy who abandoned his family in the most awful way possible,” were it not for the fans who “put him on a pedestal” and anointed him “St. Kurt.” We’d say that you can’t blame Frances for her musical taste or her anger over her upbringing, but we’re sure plenty of irate Nirvana fans will find a way. Frances’ interview is part of a cover story about her father for the new issue of Rolling Stone which hits newsstands this week.
Furious 7 was Paul Walker’s final film, and with the premiere of his last ride, we can finally answer the question fans have wondered for almost 18 months: What happens to his character, Brian O’Conner? Obviously, the mother of all Furious 7 spoilers awaits, so turn back now if you want to see the movie first. We can tell Walker fans they won’t be let down … When Paul Walker tragically died in a car crash in late November 2013 during a break from filming, it wasn’t clear if Furious 7 would even be finished. The producers eventually decided to go ahead and re-write it, but the question of how to end things for Walker’s Brian O’Conner was far from simple. Perhaps Brian, an undercover officer who went on to become a part of this “family” of street racers, would retire, riding off (literally) into the sunset. Plausible, albeit somewhat unlikely knowing Brian. Or perhaps he could die in a heroic way, giving up his life for those he cared about most in the world. The problem with that, of course, is that it would be like watching art imitate life, reliving Walker’s tragic demise in a way that might polarize audiences. So what direction did the movie decide on?! With the aid of body doubles and CGI, Brian cheats death as he always have in Furious 7 , and the ending may have a few grown men hiding tears. Seriously. The reason Furious 7 reviews have been so positive is that for all its over-the-top action, it’s got real heart, and boy, it wears it with pride. Brian retires, and while he doesn’t say as much, the whole crew looks on as he plays with his son and Dom (Vin Diesel) says “things will be different” now. The film then basically acknowledges that Walker has died, a risky move blending fiction with reality, but providing the chance for a moving tribute. After his pensive reflection following the gripping final action sequences, Dom gets up to leave without saying goodbye, only to have Brian chase him down. Paying homage to 2001’s The Fast and the Furious , the duo revs up for a race, and we are treated to a montage of Walker from all the past Fast films. By the time that’s over, it’s suddenly really dusty in theaters as we watch both Brian and Dom, and “brothers” Paul Walker and Vin Diesel say goodbye. Vin Diesel named his daughter after Paul and has been open about how much Walker meant to him. In that respect, this was pretty much perfect. The movie’s final scene shows Dom and Brian racing in the streets from above until they reach a fork in the road, and veer off in opposite directions. As the screen fades to black from this simple, yet profound and emotional parting of ways, the words “For Paul” appear just before the credits roll. For fans of the franchise, it’s pretty awesome. Vin may be reaching a bit when he says Furious 7 deserves an Oscar , but he and the rest of the team can certainly hold their heads high after this. Remembering Paul Walker (1973-2013) 1. The unpredictable, inimitable Rihanna showed up as a guest for Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night. The main subject of the interview was how she showed up…
The devastatingly gorgeous Laura Jacobs made quite an impression the very first time we laid eyes on her, playing the tragically doomed Laura Lee in 2010’s Daydream Nation . Having done a ton of modeling prior to her film debut, she was perfectly poised on screen and her smoky eyes seemed to burn you right through the screen. The Canadian beauty followed up that film with one-off roles on such TV shows as Almost Human and Funny or Die Presents , but her star really rose when she appeared as Desiree in the horror film Muck , a role she will soon reprise in the prequel. Acting, however, isn’t Laura’s only passion, as she has managed to parlay her training as an opera singer into a country music career, samples of which you can hear at her website . I recently chatted with Laura about her singing and acting careers, as well as her thoughts on making her nude debut in Muck . What I discovered was a down to earth girl who manages to take a lot of pride in everything she does, and whose amazing good looks—coupled with her affability and sense of humor—make her the total package!
Vin Diesel believes Furious 7, the latest and final film in the epic action franchise, deserves a best picture Oscar. Not that the Academy will give it its due, of course. “Do I shy away from aiming high? No, I don’t,” said the 47-year-old actor, who just named his baby girl after Paul Walker , his late Furious 7 co-star. Diesel, a mainstay of the Fast & Furious films based around fast cars, says the simple fact that it’s an action franchise discredits it within the Academy . “We all know there’s a little stigma towards action films, we know it, we’ve heard people complain about it,” he says of the lack of critical acclaim. “We’ve heard Marvel complain about it, we’ve heard DC complain about it, and now Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Batman has never gotten a shot at that.” Alluding to the fact that a lot of recent Academy Award winners for Best Picture winners haven’t fared too well, or well at all, at the box office, he said: “The Oscars have been somewhat criticized in the last few years for maybe not being as populist as they could be … we have a very powerful movie here.” “We’re actually responding to the fact that our female audience has just increased and has either eclipsed or threatening to eclipse our male audience.” “We’ve seen that across the board,” said Diesel, who produced the movie and also plays Dominic Toretto, the character he originated over a decade ago. Diesel said a sequel hasn’t won Best Picture since 1974 ( The Godfather: Part II ), however The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King won it in 2004. Furious 7 is also special in that it is one of the last movies starring Walker, the beloved star whose brothers helped complete his part to honor Paul. The film opens in the United States next Friday, April 3, and you can all but guarantee it will generate HUGE buzz and revenue all weekend long. Should the Academy at least start giving a semi-serious look to films in the action genre, as Vin says? Should box office results be taken into account? Remembering Paul Walker (1973-2013) 1. Mila Kunis is totally married to Ashton Kutcher. Neither the actress nor the actor will confirm this union for some reason, but Kunis appeared (alongside Tom Hanks) on The Late Late Show with James Corden yesterday and was asked whether she and Kutcher are hitched. “Maybe,” the beauty replied while laughing. Corden then said what everyone is (rightfully) thinking: “I’ll take that as a yes.” Mila Kunis and Tom Hanks on The Late Late Show with James Corden Rumors of a Kunis-Kutcher marriage have been circulating for months.
