Another day, another instance of Kanye West exploding at a member of the paparazzi. But we can’t say we blame the rapper this time around. In footage posted by TMZ, we see a “reporter” approach Kanye on the rapper’s driveway at 4 a.m. today, asking him about his Twitter rant against Jimmy Kimmel (below). Kanye West Goes OFF on Paparazzo How’s it going , the supposed journalist asks, only for West to come back with a logical reply: “You out in front of my house at 4 a.m. asking ‘How’s it going?'” “It’s 4 a.m.! How do you think it’s going?!?” When the paparazzo refused to shut up, West lunged at him, but the rapper’s latest blow-up did not turn violent. Instead, Kanye simply referred to him angrily as a “blood-sucking mosquito” and asked why he can’t find a more respectful profession. It also looks like Kim Kardashian was present during the incident, with reports indicating that the couple was leaving for a flight to Paris. Kanye, of course, is being sued for another paparazzi confrontation from earlier this summer, but has gone on record and said he responded in self-defense . Following last night’s Twitter tirade against Kimmel , West took to the social media site again today and once again laid the written smackdown on the talk show host. Kanye West Slams Jimmy Kimmel Kanye wrote that the subtle message of the comedian’s parody of his BBC Radio interview this week was to “keep people in a box.” West then linked to a Slate article that called Kimmel’s skit “ignorant and stupid” and proceeded to recount the words of Jibril Durimel, a fashion and brand consultant. The rapper quotes Durimel as saying: “Finally someone speaks some inspirational and real words that haven’t been exposed in a while and [Jimmy Kimmel] comes out with this. “It’s simple, mediocre dreamers think this is humorous but all Kanye is pretty much saying in the interview is to dream to be the best… But then he’s made out to be ridiculous for wanting to be at an even higher level of self confidence.” In the Q&A, Kanye says he is the number-one rock star on the planet and also gives thanks for Kim Kardashian. Per Durimel once again, West Tweeted: “Jimmy K. is the EVIL guy trying to keep people in a box and not want more out of themselves. He does this by making fun of real dreamers.” Strong words, indeed. The singer also goes on in detail about her exposure these days, reacting to all the headlines over her raunchy VMA performance and naked Wrecking Ball video as if publicity wasn’t her exact goal in the first place. “I think it’s the media riling up the people, rather than people riling up the media,” Miley says of her prominence online, citing negative blog headlines that attract traffic. She also asks a question of society: How come her wrecking ball riding garners so much attention… but the Trayvon Martin case has already been forgotten about? “What makes me kind of sick is, Trayvon Martin’s trial didn’t happen more than two months ago. It got talked about a lot – but it still got done being talked about a lot quicker than the VMAs. “And that’s really sad. For about two days, it was on Twitter and everything… and then two days later, where was it? Who cared anymore? Even I was like, “I want to help his family when it’s an appropriate time.” But then people just forgot.” So… wait… is Cyrus now complaining about the attention she’s receiving? Shayanna Jenkins, the girlfriend of Aaron Hernandez, has been indicted on a single perjury charge as an accessory to the murder he is charged with. A Massachusetts prosecutor said Friday that a grand jury indicted Jenkins on a single count in relation to the investigation into the June 17 slaying. Odin Lloyd was found shot to death in an industrial park in North Attleborough, Mass., near Hernandez’s home, where Jenkins also lives with their child. Shayanna Jenkins ‘ sister had been dating Lloyd. Aaron Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in Odin Lloyd’s death and is has been held without bail for the past several months. The prosecutor says Hernandez’s cousin, Tanya Singleton, also was indicted on a new charge of conspiracy to commit accessory after the fact. The takeaway there is that the authorities believe she helped one of Aaron’s alleged accomplices get out of trouble by buying him a bus ticket to Florida. Aaron Hernandez Case Latest Details That man, Ernest Wallace, was eventually arrested in Florida, and is charged with being an accessory to Odin Lloyd’s murder. He remains in custody. Singleton has already pleaded not guilty to a criminal contempt charge. Authorities say she refused to testify before a grand jury in the murder case. Jenkins and Singleton were not arrested and have no court date yet. Aaron Hernandez’ s girlfriend faces up to two-and-a-half years in a jail if convicted on the perjury charge, though she would likely not get the full amount. If she goes to jail, child services would have to make arrangements with Jenkins’ family for the care of her child, as both parents would be in cells.
Lamar Odom’s DUI case was postponed by two weeks earlier today, as his attorney appeared in court on the athlete’s behalf and requested a continuance. The troubled star was not in the Van Nuys, Calif., courtroom for the scheduled arraignment, and wasn’t required to be. His attorney, Richard Hutton was. The judge granted a new hearing date of October 10. Odom was arrested for DUI August 30 after being pulled over the on California’s 101 freeway for driving too slowly in the early hours of the morning. He refused to take any blood alcohol tests, and lost his license for a year a result. Police believe Odom was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Today marks Odom’s fourth wedding anniversary. He and Khloe Kardashian got married in 2009, and appeared to be very happy until the past few months, when he’s been linked to various mistresses. Odom has also been in the throes of crack addiction, a problem he’s battled in the past, but has escalated with one major crack binge after another. Believe it or not, he’s reportedly planning an anniversary surprise for Khloe today, having withdrawn $100K for unknown reasons in an effort to win her back. It’s unclear if he’s done so or how she’ll react. Khloe, meanwhile, marked the anniversary by taking “Odom” off of her name on Twitter. So there’s that.
