Farrakhan and his entourage attended a dinner party hosted by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday night. Rouhani’s dinner party was held on the second floor of the One UN Hotel, where the Iranian delegation is staying, and at the same time as President Obama’s party at the Waldorf Astoria just blocks away. The private dinner party was held just hours after Rouhani’s speech to the general assembly. Farrakhan and his massive entourage and private security detail were seen departing the hotel around 10 p.m. Tuesday. Pedestrian traffic was stopped while the minister and his group piled into various cars with lights and sirens and New Jersey license plates. Also in attendance at Rouhani’s party was German Deputy Foreign Minister Peter Florin, who was elected president of the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. Homeless Man Pushes Girl In Front Of Train According to Mail Online The homeless man accused of shoving a student in front of a train yesterday appeared in court this morning rambling incoherently about people trying to kill him and seeing ‘colors and darkness’. Hunter College student Maya Leggat, 21, received horrific injuries after she was allegedly shoved on to the tracks at White Plains station in New York after she refused to give money to Howard J. Mickens, 39. Shocked commuters described seeing her mangled legs on the tracks, and some followed the panhandler and held him until police arrived. He was charged with attempted murder and made a bizarre appearance in court today saying he was ‘guilty with an explanation’. Maya is in stable condition at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla and is facing surgery after sustaining serious leg trauma, her brother told The Journal News. Mickens appeared before White Plains City Court Judge Eric Press, who ordered him to undergo a psychiatric evaluation in the attempted murder case. ‘Can you make sure they’re not military?’ the 39-year-old askedabout his potential evaluators and when his lawyer advised him to be quiet, he ignored her and told the judge: ‘I don’t trust her. Sir, I am guilty with an explanation.’ When he was asked if he understood what was happening to him, he said: ‘No disrespect, judge. I just don’t want to get railroaded, especially by individuals who have been trying to kill me since I was a child. ‘When I close my eyes I see colors and darkness.’ The case was adjourned until October 25. The victim’s brother told ABC 7: ‘I’m just thankful that she’s alive,’ adding that her condition was stable and she was due to have surgery. WTF is guilty with an explanation?

In an interview on an Italian radio show today, Barilla Group Chairman Guido Barilla said his company would never run an ad with a “homosexual couple.” He then explained why: “Not for lack of respect but because we don’t agree with them. Ours is a classic family where the woman plays a fundamental role.” Barilla Pasta Chairman Slams Gays According to a Reuters translation, Barilla said of any firestorm that may come his way as a result of this stance: “If [gays] don’t like it, they will not eat it and they will eat another brand.” In June of last year, Chick-fil-A COO Dan Cathy made it clear that he’s an opponent of gay marriage . It was then revealed that the chain donated millions of dollars to anti-LGBT rights movements, prompting a boycott from activities and other offended by these revelations. Now, many in Hollywood are reacting in a similar way to Barilla’s remarks. “Barilla has a right to believe whatever they want,” Chrissy Teigen Tweeted. “And I have the right to boycott them or fully fund a gay porn made in a tub of linguine.” Adds author Jodi Picoult: “Thinking of lasagne? Skip over Barilla pasta.” Barilla later apologized for his remarks, saying in a statement: “I only wanted to underline the central role of the woman in the family.” Still… many are pissed.
