Perverted Priests: Former Irish Catholic Priest Who Is A Known Molester Jailed For 3 Years For Possession Of Children’s X-Rated Material

3 years is all this nasty f**k gets??? A defrocked Roman Catholic priest who admitted molesting more than 20 children in California has been sentenced to three years in prison in Ireland for possessing child pornography, court officials said Tuesday. Oliver O’Grady, 66, was arrested in Dublin in December 2010 after leaving a computer containing pornographic images of children on a flight from Amsterdam. O’Grady worked in northern California from 1971 until 1993, when he was arrested for abusing two brothers. He served seven years in prison and was deported to his native Ireland in 2000. He later moved to the Netherlands for several years. O’Grady was the subject of the Academy Award-nominated 2006 documentary “Deliver Us From Evil.” In the film he spoke openly of abusing more than 20 children as he was shuffled from one parish to another in California through the 1970s and 80s. The Dutch Catholic Church came under fire in 2010 after it emerged that O’Grady had been working as a church volunteer in the city of Rotterdam. O’Grady had been living in the country under another name, but parishioners recognized him when “Deliver Us from Evil” was aired on Dutch television. By that time, the disgraced ex-cleric had already left the country. O’Grady had pleaded guilty to three counts of possessing child pornography. The Irish Courts Service said he was sentenced Monday at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. Source More On Bossip! EWWWW!!! What In The Everloving Hell Is Dripping Down Christina Aguilera’s Leg?!?!?!?! ‘Breaking Bad’ Star Aaron Paul: ‘I Know How It Ends’

‘It’s going to be pretty intense,’ he promises MTV News at Sundance about the ‘Bad’ finale. By Josh Wigler, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston in “Breaking Bad” Photo: AMC By now, “Breaking Bad” fans are well aware that Walter White (Bryan Cranston) is the danger. He blew the face off of an ingenious criminal drug lord in a dramatic seasons-long showdown. He secretly poisoned a little boy as a means to manipulating his on-again off-again business partner into helping him kill said drug lord. Ladies and gentlemen, make no mistake: four seasons deep, Walt has finally broken bad. With only one season remaining before “Breaking Bad” closes the meth lab for good, it’s anybody’s guess how the saga of the cancer-stricken chemistry teacher-turned-murderous meth manufacturer will ultimately resolve itself. But there is one person who claims to know how the AMC drug thriller ends: Aaron Paul, the anything-but-“Bad” actor who stars on the show as reluctant drug slinger Jesse Pinkman. “I know how it ends,” Paul told MTV News at the Sundance Film Festival , where he’s promoting the release of his new movie “Smashed.” You wouldn’t think Paul would spill any further details, but he proceeded to drop a bombshell bigger than the one that took out Gus Fring . “Jesse dies,” he deadpanned. And just like Fring, our jaws dropped to the floor at the stunning revelation. But true to Pinkman’s prankster ways, Paul immediately cracked up and cleared the air. “No, no, no! He doesn’t die! Or maybe he does,” he continued ominously. “I don’t know! Actually, I have no idea what’s going to happen. But I’m excited to see [it play out].” No matter how “Breaking Bad” reaches its conclusion, it will all come to an end one way or the other, sooner rather than later. “[There are only] 16 more episodes, and then we’re done,” Paul said. “We start shooting at the end of March. I think it’s going to be a full sprint to the finish, and it’s going to be pretty intense.” The 2012 Sundance Film Festival is officially under way, and the MTV Movies team is on the ground reporting on the hottest stars and the movies everyone will be talking about in the year to come. Oscar 2012 Predictions: Best Actor

‘Descendants’ star George Clooney and ‘Artist’ actor Jean Dujardin are two of MTV News’ nominee picks. By Josh Wigler George Clooney in “The Descendants” Photo: 20th Century Fox In less than 24 hours, five actors will find themselves officially locked in on the road toward Oscar glory. The 2012 Academy Award nominations are set to be unleashed on Tuesday, and while there are certainly some expected front-runners who will be in the mix, there are always surprise nominees who make the cut. In the Best Actor category, however, things seem a bit more predictable this year. A handful of performers have found their names repeatedly honored with nominations throughout the current awards season and the trend isn’t likely to stop before Oscar night . From bureaus to baseball, from silence to sex, here are our predictions for the Academy Awards’ Best Actor nominees. George Clooney, “The Descendants” Already familiar with the taste of Oscar gold, Clooney is very likely on the cusp of another major win for his touching turn as “back-up parent” Matt King in Alexander Payne’s “The Descendants.” Clooney has been on an Academy-attracting hot streak in recent years, what with nominations for “Michael Clayton” and “Up in the Air.” Under the right circumstances, he could have easily claimed victories for either of those roles. Will he find himself in the right crowd this time around? Leonardo DiCaprio, “J. Edgar” Critics were not kind to director Clint Eastwood’s biopic about the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s polarizing founder. But DiCaprio’s performance as the titular J. Edgar Hoover is another story. The three-time Oscar nominee turned in a transformative performance as Hoover, both physically and spiritually, and is likely to be recognized with a fourth nomination, if not a win. Jean Dujardin, “The Artist” It’s said that silence is acceptance. If that’s the case, French actor Jean Dujardin could well be accepting a Best Actor award on Oscar night. As the star of director Michel Hazanavicius’ silent film “The Artist,” Dujardin proved the old adage that a picture is worth a thousand words — in his case, moving pictures — as he stole the hearts of art-house moviegoers everywhere as George Valentin, a silent-movie actor facing the very real threat of falling from stardom to redundancy. Michael Fassbender, “Shame” Talk about baring it all! Fassbender truly shed every layer possible — and we do mean every layer — as sex addict Brandon Sullivan in director Steve McQueen’s “Shame.” It’s not easy for the star of an NC-17 film to cross over to the awards-season elite, but Fassbender has done exactly that, most notably with his Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor. While he’s not likely to win — a true shame, if you ask us — his inclusion on Oscar night feels like the climax, if you will, of the Irish-German actor’s truly inspired 2011. Brad Pitt, “Moneyball” After the shutdown of Steven Soderbegh’s take on the material, a rewrite from Oscar-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin and the surprise hiring of Jonah Hill in his first dramatic role, “Moneyball” surprised everybody by simply existing. Unsurprising is the fantastic performance from Pitt, one of our most gifted (and gorgeous) actors. Pitt has yet to bring an Oscar home, despite numerous nominations over the years. His Billy Beane might be the most understated of all the characters likely to enter the Best Actor field this year, but true to the Oakland A’s general manager’s philosophy, it’s not always a grand slam that gets you the win. Sinead O’Connor and Barry Herridge: It’s All Over Again, For Good!

Nothing compares 2 heartache for Sinead O’Connor. Just weeks after she married Barry Herridge in a quickie Vegas wedding, then split with him just 18 days later, only to reunite a few days later , she’s ending the union. For good this time. Sinead said in a statement: “I will never again associate myself romantically with anyone as I could not bear to see these things done to someone I love,” said Sinead, who was Tweeting her own cry for psychiatric help this week, regarding media scrutiny of Barry. “These people, along with others caused enormous damage deliberately and maliciously to my innocent flower of a husband, purely because he was with me.” “And so his association with me became something very bad for his life.” “And slowly since we were married I became very ill as result of what was done to my husband and I was unable to cope. And became very depressed.” O’Connor slammed one unnamed reporter (she later ID’d him on Twitter as Irish Mirror showbiz columnist Paul Martin) whom she called a bully for trying to “lose my husband his job” as a counselor for drug-addicted teenagers. The twice-married Sinead, 44, concluded her official website missive with some self-affirming statements right out of a Bridget Jones movie. “Well guys, I’m gonna be me. ” “And if anyone doesn’t like that they can seek therapy. Because I am wonderful. Exactly as I am. As Bridge Jones would say. And I shall continue being me. If being me means certain Irish media will try to destroy my romantic life.. So be it.” Let it be so then. [Photo: WENN.com]

U2, Taylor Swift Top List Of 2011’s Highest-Grossing Tours

U2’s 360 Tour is the year’s most profitable in the U.S. and worldwide. By James Montgomery U2’s Bono Photo: Harry Herd/ Getty Images U2 didn’t even release an album in 2011, but that didn’t stop them raking in plenty of cash. The iconic Irish quartet topped Pollstar’s list of the year’s most profitable tours, as their massive 360 Tour moved an impressive 2.4 million tickets worldwide, grossing more than $230 million globally. Their North American dates — which were postponed (and subsequently rescheduled) last year as Bono recovered from back surgery — made $156 million, good enough to give them the highest-grossing tour on this continent, too. Taylor Swift had 2011’s second most-profitable North American tour, as her expansive Speak Now jaunt racked up $97.7 million at the box office. Swift’s country contemporary, Kenny Chesney, came in at #3, bringing in nearly $85 million in ticket sales, followed by Lady Gaga, who, despite wrapping up the North American leg of her Monster Ball tour in April, still managed to bring in $63.7 million at the box office. Bon Jovi rounds out Pollstar’s top five, grossing more than $57 million. Kanye West and Jay-Z’s Throne tour ($48 million), Lil Wayne’s “I Am Still Music” trek ($44 million), Britney Spears ($38 million) and Katy Perry ($28 million) also made the Top 25 in North America. British boy band Take That’s reunion tour came in second to U2’s 360 trek based on worldwide receipts, making $224 million. Bon Jovi grossed nearly $150 million worldwide, good enough for third, with tours by Swift ($104 million worldwide) and Roger Waters ($103 million) rounding out the top five. Also making Pollstar’s worldwide list were Rihanna, the Foo Fighters, Justin Bieber, Usher and the Kings of Leon. Did you attend any of the highest-grossing tours in 2011? ‘Glee’-Cap: Christmastime At Klaine’s Bachelor Chalet

Holiday episode steps it up with a black-and-white PBS show within the show. By Jim Cantiello Puck and Tina in “Glee” Photo: Fox On Tuesday night, “Glee” premiered its latest holiday episode, “An Extraordinary Merry Christmas,” and kept the drama to a minimum. The little bit of plot revolved around the glee club having to choose between producing a PBS holiday special or keeping a previous commitment to a homeless shelter where Sue Sylvester volunteers. Thanks to the magic of Christmas, they were able to do both! And the old-school PBS variety show was a gut-busting diversion. Taking place at Kurt and Blaine’s “bachelor chalet,” the two-act black-and-white Christmas special — shown in its entirety during the “Glee” episode — included “surprise guest stars” who couldn’t quite figure out which camera was on, “Star Wars”-inspired characters rocking Springsteen and an Irish elf who loves Jesus. And it wouldn’t be Christmas on “Glee” without an adorable duet from Klaine. Meanwhile, Rachel and Finn enjoyed their first Christmas together, and the McKinley High diva learned a thing or two (or five) about charity. So cuddle up with a loved one, light a fire and take in the final musical “Glee”-cap of 2011. Watch the embedded video below and sing along with these lyrics! Sue Sylvester’s alone this Christmas Because Ryan Murphy killed her sister Spends her time at a homeless shelter Keepin’ busy so she won’t miss her The glee club says they’ll sing there Spread around some cheer But PBS asks them to air A special this year Artie’s tapped to direct it A boost to his career They finish in time so they can go shine And sing all sincere There’s no conflict on Christmas No plot to be had Just songs slapped together To sell the soundtrack real bad The special was crazy All retro and cool What better way to spend these magic days That we call the yule Rachel wants a million presents Finn says, “Here’s a pig” He buys her stars and fancy earrings “Let’s give to charity,” they commit “Glee” finally lets Rory speak Talked Jesus and wore a knit I bet “The Glee Project” ‘s Cameron regrets Saying, “I quit.” “Glee” rocked this Christmas No attack on the day Someone tell Rick Perry To go away Klaine’s bachelor chalet made me laugh till I cried Everything looks better in old black-and-white [ In the background to the tune of “Auld Lang Syne” ] Should old Charices be forgot No Sebastian to be seen I’ll miss you “Glee” until you are Back in 2012 on my screen [ Spoken word over the background vocals ] And so this holiday season, we give thanks to all the people and things on “Glee” that bring us joy Like Heather Morris when she forgets that she’s on camera Or that Lea Michele duet with Brendon from Panic! at the Disco And the “Glee” writers for keeping slut pig out of this episode And Tina when she’s forced to give exposition about last Christmas that we don’t really need “Glee,” you’re a sloppy bastard sometimes But I can’t wait to see you in 2012 What did you think of the “Glee” holiday episode?
