Twilight star Peter Facinelli is engaged to his girlfriend Jaimie Alexander, according to reports. The actor proposed earlier this week and she accepted! Jennie Garth’s ex-husband Facinelli popped the question to the Thor actress on Monday at the top of New York’s Empire State Building, his rep confirms. “She knew it was coming but was overwhelmed during the proposal,” a source tells Us of the 31-year-old bride-to-be, who was surprised and yet not. The couple, who both appeared on Nurse Jackie and worked together on Loosies , went public in 2012, just eight months after Peter and Jennie split up. He and Garth, who have four daughters together, surprised many fans when they announced the end of their 11-year marriage and 15-year romance. Facinelli and Garth finalized their divorce in June 2013, but remain on good terms. In January, Facinelli, 41, and Alexander were joined by his kids on the red carpet at the opening of Cirque du Soleil’s “Totem” in Santa Monica, Calif. Prior to their family outing, the duo celebrated Facinelli’s birthday in Mexico, where they were spotted swimming and engaging in some poolside PDA.
