According to Variety, Christopher Nolan tops the shortlist to helm Warner Bros.’ Twilight Zone reboot, but he’s not alone on the list of potential candidates; Michael Bay , Alfonso Cuaron, and Rupert Wyatt are also in the mix to direct the big-budget, single-story version based on Rod Serling’s original sci-fi television series. Nolan may have an in with producer Leonardo DiCaprio and the studio that released his last five films, not to mention the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises . But should he get the gig?
Looks like Quentin Tarantino ‘s reaching into his own well to fill the shoes of his Django Unchained baddie. The Wrap reports that none other than Kurt Russell , who played Tarantino’s Death Proof villain Stuntman Mike, is negotiating to replace Kevin Costner as Ace Woody, a plantation henchman who works for Leonardo DiCaprio’s big bad. Battling against Kurt ‘n’ Leo will be Jamie Foxx as the titular slave-turned-bounty hunter and his German mentor Christoph Waltz (who recently injured himself training on horseback for the role). Foxx joins Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Smokey Robinson and others set to perform at the event, a point of contention among MJ’s own family. We already know Jamie can moonwalk … Jamie Foxx Moonwalk Show organizers are also pumped up about Beyonce’s performance , saying that she has not withdrawn despite her recently-announced pregnancy. Singer, actor and author, Tyrese, visited Power 105.1′s hit morning show, “The Breakfast Club” recently in promotion of his new movie, “Transformers 3″. During the interview, he opened up about his new album, being with one woman, being a “sex symbol”, being labeled a relationship expert and his come back to the music world. When asked if men should only be with one woman, Tyrese responded: “If you’re in that space go ahead and get it out your system.” When asked about polygamy, Tyrese responded: “Well, if a man is going to move like that, then I don’t really think it needs a title. It’s just you moving around. The title polygamy is just like a concept of you moving around. Just ‘do you’ but my thing is if you’re going to move around like that, get your pimpin’ right and at least give the girls a heads up because I think the dipping off five-six women simultaneously making them all think they’re the only one, that’s when people get fired up at the end.” When asked about if it was hard being married in Hollywood, Tyrese responded: “You know what I just think the timing is important and there was some other things behind my marriage I won’t speak on. It’s the timing of when you get married, it’s important because in the end, men will be men.
