While Miley Cyrus rides around on this apparatus in her new, scantily-clad music video, she also uses it to demolish the boys from One Direction: In far less than 24 hours, the singer has set a new mark for most VEVO page views in a one-day period, with the video for ” Wrecking Ball ” already have racked up 15 million… and counting! Cyrus spends a bulk of her time completely naked, her private parts hidden by nothing more than a chain. She also cries and makes out with a sledgehammer . Jay Leno Once Had Sex with Sharon Osbourne

In the spring of 2014, Jay Leno will finally get off The Tonight Show stage. But in an unexpected admission yesterday during an episode of The Talk, Sharon Osbourne told the world: the comedian once could not get off her… if you know what Sharon means! Saying she had a “flingy-wingy” with Leno at the age of 25, Osbourne explained: “I had just moved to America, I didn’t know many people… I had met my husband but we weren’t together, we were just friends. I’m here, I didn’t have a boyfriend…Anyway. my friend worked at this place and said, ‘You have to come down to this club where I work ’cause it’s full of men, you’ve got to come down!'” Leno was performing that night, Osbourne found him “nice and very funny” and it turned out her friend had the rising star’s number. “One thing led to another…He actually came to my house and met me, and then we had a little fling,” Sharon said. So, wait… Sharon Osbourne had sexual intercourse with Jay Leno?!? Julie Chen pressed her co-host for an answer to this question. “It was so long ago, I can’t remember,” Osbourne laughed. “One cannot remember that long ago!” Or perhaps one does not want to remember. Sorry, Jay. Tough break.

Congrats Jimmy ! Jimmy Fallon To Replace Jay Leno Via HuffPo reports: NBC has officially announced that Jimmy Fallon will take over “The Tonight Show” in 2014, and Jay Leno will end his run as the host of the show. Bill Carter of The New York Times reports that Fallon, currently the host of “Late Night,” will begin hosting the show in February. Fallon has hosted “Late Night” since 2009, and along with his house band The Roots, has developed a variety show that blends music, celebrity impressions and an enthusiastic approach to the talk show format to make it one of the most unique late night programs on the air. Lorne Michaels executive produces Fallon’s current show, and will produce “The Tonight Show” in addition to his “Saturday Night Live” duties. The news follows months of rumors that Fallon would take over the show when Leno’s contract expires next year. The show will be taped at 30 Rock in New York, the first time the show has been taped there since Johnny Carson left in 1972. In a statement, departing host Leno said, “Congratulations Jimmy. I hope you’re as lucky as me and hold on to the job until you’re the old guy. If you need me, I’ll be at the garage.” NBC has attempted a “Tonight Show” host transition once before. In 2004, they announced that Conan O’Brien, then the host of “Late Night,” would take over “The Tonight Show” in 2009. By the time the transition occurred, Leno was still on top of the ratings, and NBC gave Leno a primetime show to prevent him from going to another network. However, faltering ratings of both programs led to NBC installing Leno as the host once again. The network did not mention O’Brien’s stint as the “Tonight Show” host in its press release about the Fallon transition, instead claiming that Leno has hosted “The Tonight Show” since 1992. Leno told the Times that he felt better about this transition. “The main difference between this and the other time is I’m part of the process. The last time the decision was made without me. I came into work one day and — you’re out.” This transition was largely initiated by the threat posed by “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, which moved from midnight to 11:35 earlier this year. Although Leno’s program continues to be number one in both overall ratings and the 18-49 demographic, Kimmel’s show has proven to be competitive. Mike Rice: Fired by Rutgers University

Mike Rice has been fired by Rutgers University. The move came one day after footage surfaced of Rice berating his players at practice, throwing basketball at their heads and hurling insults their way after perceived mistakes. Mike Rice Flips Out as Rutgers Players In an email today, the school referred to new information and “a review of previously discovered issues” as the basis for Rice’s termination. “I am responsible for the decision to attempt a rehabilitation of Coach Rice,” said athletic director Tim Pernetti. “Dismissal and corrective action were debated in December, and I thought it was in the best interest of everyone to rehabilitate, but I was wrong. Moving forward, I will work to regain the trust of the Rutgers community.” The Scarlet Knights finished 15-16 this season and 5-13 in the league. “There will never be a time when I use any of that as an excuse,” Rice said in an interview outside his house. “I’ve let so many people down. My players, my administration, Rutgers University, the fans. My family, who’s sitting in their house just huddled around because of the fact that their father was an embarrassment to them… “”I’m deeply sorry for the pain and the hardship that I’ve caused.”

DJ Clue Arrested for Possession of Pills

DJ Clue apparently needs to get one. The 38-year old was arrested this morning in New York City after getting pulled over for a routine traffic violation. According to TMZ sources, police discovered at the time that Clue was driving with a suspended license and also in possession of illegal pills. The DJ – who has worked with such heavyweights as DMZ and Jay-Z – was taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operator. The local NBC affiliate first reported this story and we’ll update it as news breaks.

Heeeere’s Jimmy! After weeks of speculating and awkward, unfunny duets , NBC finally make it official today: Jimmy Fallon will take over The Tonight Show in 2014. “Jay Leno is an entertainment icon, making millions of people laugh every weeknight for more than 20 years,” said Steve Burke, Chief Executive Officer of NBCUniversal, adding: “His long reign as the highest-rated late-night host is a testament to his work ethic and dedication to his viewers and to NBC. We are purposefully making this change when Jay is #1, just as Jay replaced Johnny Carson when he was #1. “Jimmy Fallon is a unique talent and this is his time. I’m thrilled he will become the sixth host of ‘The Tonight Show’ at exactly the right moment, in conjunction with our coverage of next year’s Winter Olympic Games from Sochi, Russia.” Leno’s contract expires next year and the network wanted to make this switch before Jimmy Kimmel could steal more young viewers at 11:35 p.m. “Congratulations Jimmy,” Leno said in a statement. “I hope you’re as lucky as me and hold on to the job until you’re the old guy. Do not anger the Beliebers. It’s a lesson that’s inherent to those who report celebrity gossip , but one Olivia Wilde had to find out the hard way after chastising the singer on Twitter. After Wilde told Justin Bieber to ” put a f–king shirt on ” earlier this month, her account was bombarded with irate messages from riled up Beliebers. Very intelligent and totally sensible ones, obviously. Watch below as the actress reads some of the best Tweets she received on the Tonight Show … Olivia Wilde Reads Beliebers’ Tweets Wilde also offered a preface: “This started because Justin Bieber went out without his shirt on… he was in London, and it’s so cold there and I was concerned.” “”I have a 19-year-old brother in London, and it’s freezing! So I told Justin Bieber, ‘Put your f–king shirt on.'” “But I said it with love!” Safe to say Bieber fans didn’t all see it that way, and that their beloved idol has had his share of interesting incidents in London over the past few weeks. If you recall, he had the worst birthday ever, walked around with no shirt on, collapsed on stage and threatened to f–king beat the f–k out of a photographer . Wilde has not Tweeted about that incident … yet. Frankly she might want to. She may be too old to be a lesbian, but she’s not too old to offer advice.

Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night. In related news, the talent booker for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno should be fired. The first two minutes of the interview were spent in captivating fashion, as Leno asked a pregnant Kourtney about cravings and this led to a discussion between the sister of In-N-Out Burger (cha-ching!). From there, Leno quizzed Kim on Kanye West and the track ” Theraflu ,” as she played dumb (okay, she might not have been playing) and responded “I don’t know if he wrote it for me… I think my name’s in it.” Look for Kanye to appear this summer on Keeping Up with the Kardashians , and watch the full interview with these morons below. Mel Gibson appeared on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno last night and surprisingly, he willingly brought up his most recent secretly recorded meltdown. He joked about it repeatedly, no less. The now-infamous Mel Gibson rant , in which he RAGED at Joe Eszterhas (and was taped in his own home, unwittingly, by Eszterhas’ son), was over the top, he conceded. Still, Mel believes his privacy was violated and his actions were “justified.” Why? Mel Gibson on The Tonight Show Eszterhas’ script for The Maccabees was non-existent, then awful, Mel said, proceeding to slam the screenwriter for selling him out hardcore in a nine-page letter released online – before he leaked the audiotape. “If he put half as much time and effort and creativity and imagination into a screenplay, which he was supposed to write, as he did into that letter, we wouldn’t be having this conversation,” Gibson said of Joe Eszterhas . As for the rant itself, Leno asked, “So what were you doing, just swearing at the guy?” “Yeah, pretty much,” Mel deadpanned, before adding self-deprecatingly, “Maybe you don’t know this about me, but I’ve got a little bit of a temper.”
