Last month, Rob Kardashian was diagnosed with diabetes during an emergency hospital visit. Sources say that in the weeks since, Kris Jenner has been focusing on the “mom” part of her momager role and doing everything she can to help her troubled son regain his health. It’s even been reported that Kris bribed Rob to go to rehab , but the 28-year-old refused. Kris was reportedly upset to discover this is a situation that she won’t be able to fix by throwing money at it. Now, Radar Online is reporting that Kris is being encouraged to step up to the plate and take some time away from the spotlight in order to focus on her ailing son. “One of Kris’s close friends recently urged her to think about stepping back from it all, so she could help Rob,” a source close to the situation . “Rob is suffering, and his health has only gotten worse since the diabetes was diagnosed.” Of course, Rob is a grown man, and Kris has five other kids (and their thriving careers) to think about: “Kris just thinks it wouldn’t be the best use of her time because she has already tried to do so much for him,” the source said. “From reaching out to mental health professionals, to talking to doctors, hiring chefs…She’s suggested so much and Rob just shoots it all down. She can’t force him to get the help he needs.” Sources say the most frustrating part for Kris and her other kids is that Rob’s situation is manageable, but he’s insisted on continuing down the self-destructive path that he’s on. “He refuses to monitor his blood sugar daily as doctors have told him to do,” says the insider. “Even more frustrating is that Rob’s diabetes would likely go away if he began working out and eating healthy!”

Last we checked in on the Kard clan’s most random couple, Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble were moving in together . There was a time when everyone (including Kris’ daughters) thought the May-December romance would just be a rebound fling, but as recently as last month, there were rumors that Kris and Corey were engaged . Unfortunately, that speculation has now given way to rumors that Kris and Corey have officially called it quits. There are conflicting reports as to why the couple has decided to end their 16-month romance, with some sources claiming Jenner kicked Gamble to the curb, and others insisting that Corey dumped Kris as a result of Kris’ recent weight gain . Whatever the cause of the split, both parties have dropped hints that they’re literally flying solo these days. Gamble recently posted the following on Instagram and Twitter during a private jet flight: “Sky lunch with a glass of 1942 Don Julio … & Missing U baby… Wish u was with me.” Add to that the fact that Kris recently revealed that she plans to spend Valentine’s Day taking her grandchildren to the American Girl store, and it begins to look like as though even if they’re still together, Kris and Corey are spending a lot of time apart these days. I know I haven’t done a post on Penelope Cruz in years, but I still wasn’t expecting to see her looking this old at the 31st Jose Maria Forque Cinema Awards in Madrid (whatever those are). And it’s kind of depressing. US Magazine reports: Brazilian bombshell. Tyga cheated on Kylie Jenner with Annalu Cardoso, the Brazilian model confirms exclusively to Us Weekly. A source tells Us that the “Stimulated” rapper, 26, met Cardoso, 23, on one of his video shoots, and she later appeared on an episode of his MTV2 show, Kingin’ with Tyga. The entertainer “hit on” Cardoso but made sure to cover his tracks, the insider says. “Tyga is very careful and waits until Kylie is out of the country,” the source tells Us. (Last November, Jenner posted a funny meme alluding that she checks Tyga’s text messages.) The hip-hop star and Kris Jenner’s youngest child first sparked dating rumors back in July 2014.
