New years. Same old Kylie Jenner. A day after sister Kendall Jenner posted a revealing photo to Instagram of herself in a teeny, tiny bikini , Kylie has gone ahead and flashed her flat abs for followers. Proving she wasn’t too hungover to remember the date, the 17-year old simply wrote “1/1/15” as the caption to this image: Jenner is also showing off her showing off her perfectly manicured nails as she grips her cell phone (i.e. her most prized possession) in the photograph. It follows a year in which Kendall and Kylie nearly surpassed their more famous half-sister, Kim Kardashian in terms of attention. And how did they accomplish this feat? By following Kim’s lead and starring in a sex tape doing pretty much nothing except posing for intimate pictures. It’s unclear, meanwhile, just what Kylie Jenner did on New Year’s Eve, but she shared a photo at one point of herself partying somewhere in Los Angeles, as she wore an eye-catching small red dress and a Happy New Year crown. Kylie Jenner Sad She Can’t Go NYE Clubbing With Tyga Via RadarOnline : Kylie Jenner still has four more years before she can legally ring in the New Year with a glass of champagne. But despite her underage status, RadarOnline.com has learned, the 17-year-old wants to celebrate the last day of 2014 at a nightclub with her boyfriend Tyga — and is “pissed” that she’s too young to make it past the velvet rope. According to an insider, the underage Jenner and the 25-year-old bad-boy rapper “love to party together, and Kylie is pissed because she cannot go clubbing on New Year’s Eve like everyone else she knows.” Although most clubs require an ID to enter, “She is telling her sisters that it is not fair that she is so famous because she cannot get a fake ID or go out to a club or bar without people automatically knowing who she is.” “That isn’t going to stop her from trying to sneak into some clubs tonight,” the source says. And failing that, the source says, she won’t be sulking at home. “They are going to be hitting up a few house parties too,” the source says. As Radar reported, Jenner is “doing whatever she can” to stay close to her adult rapper boyfriend even though her family members almost unanimously disapprove of the relationship. “Her ego has really gotten out of hand lately,” the source says. “She is looking forward to 2015 because she will finally be 18 and will be allowed to do whatever she wants and can finally go public with Tyga since she will be an adult.” She’ll be able to do whatever she wants…EXCEPT go to the club with her bae, because she will still be under 21.

Edward Herrman Dies: Gilmore Girls Star Was 71

Though you may not recognize the name Edward Herrman, you’re almost certainly familiar with his work. In addition to his nine seasons on the cast of Gilmore Girls , Herrman appeared in over 100 films during a storied career that spanned five decades. Richard Gilmore – Lorelai’s father and Rory’s Yale benefactor – may be Herrman’s stand-out role for younger generations, but movie and TV fans of all ages are likely to recognize from one small but memorable part or another. Herrman most often played blue-blooded stuffed shirts, but was routinely described as a warm, jovial man by friends and colleagues. His late-career parts ranged from Jason Segel and Alyson Hannigan’s cantakerous minister on How I Met Your Mother to the voice of Stratton-Oakmont in 2013’s The Wolf of Wall Street. Herrman was reportedly battling brain cancer and had spent the past several weeks in intensive care. He leaves behind a wife and three children. While he may not have been a household name during his career, Herrman became a worldwide trending topic within minutes of when news of his death went public.  It’s a fitting final tribute for a man who never received top billing, but often stole the show. It’s easy to forget due to her demeanor, appearance, and the fact that she seemingly hasn’t attended school in several years, but Kylie Jenner is only 17 years old. Sure, Kylie is dating Tyga , who’s 25 and already has a kid and an ex-fiancee. And yes, Kylie’s changing face  suggests she’s had plenty of work done, and we generally associate cosmetic surgery with aging Real Housewives rather than high school-aged teens, but at the end of the day Kylie is still a minor. Unfortunately (in this case) she’s also a famous minor, which means underage clubbing with her much older boyfriend is virtually impossible: Bouncers are unlikely to be fooled by a fake ID, and even if Kylie sneaks in, she’ll probably be spotted by a snitch. But apparently, none of that is enough to stop the pouty reality star from trying: “[Kylie and Tyga] love to party together and Kylie is pissed she can’t go clubbing on New Year’s Eve like everyone else she knows,” a source tells Radar Online. “She is telling her sisters that it’s not fair that she’s so famous because she can’t get a fake ID or go out to a club without everyone automatically knowing who she is. That isn’t going to stop her from trying to sneak in tonight, though.” Complaining that you’re too famous to get into clubs when you’re underage might be the firstiest First World problem we’ve ever heard of. If they’d only planned in advance, Kylie and Tyga could’ve gone to Europe again  to take advantage of the continent’s lower drinking ages. Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney: Engaged! (According to Tabloid)

Well, it’s official…sort of. Months after a rumor that  Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney are married spread across the Internet like wildfire, one tabloid has dialed it back and is now claiming that Gaga and Kinney got engaged over the holidays. On Christmas Day, Gaga tweeted, “Merry Christmas monsters, today has been the happiest day of my life.” Interesting, but there are a lot of reasons the Mother Monster may have felt that way. Maybe she finally got the new stainless steel nipple clamps or shrunken monkey head she’s been asking for. But In Touch jumped on the cryptic tweet and claimed to have all the answers. Yes, according to the tabloid, Kinney proposed to Gaga , and she accepted. In fairness, there is a good deal of evidence that suggests Gaga and Kinney will be getting hitched in the near future. Gaga was seen wedding dress shopping in Toronto back in July, and both she and Kinney have been spotted rocking expensive-looking rings on that finger. (Engagement or “commitment” rings for dudes are all the rage in Hollywood these days.) So it’s quite possible Christmas was unusually merry for Gaga because her dude finally got down on bended knee. Actually, this a Lady Gaga proposal we’re talking about; he probably tattooed the proposal on his back and had a performance artist threw up on it. Ya know, traditional-style. 41 WTF? Kylie Jenner’s name almost can’t be mentioned on social media or gossip sites these days without a reference to her bold, plump, possibly artificially enhanced lips. Or her age, which is 17. Seven. Teen. But mostly her lips. A look at some photos of Kylie Jenner’s lips from this month, compared to last December, really drives home why. This side by side breakdown says it all: It seems like a daily event that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star posts a controversial, age-inappropriate selfie with those puckers front and center. She knows the attention this gets, and pretends it bothers her sometimes, because you can’t admit you’re trolling for fame that hard, but Kylie clearly loves it. Jenner recently denied plastic surgery rumors , and attributed her changing look to heavy lip liner and expert makeup application, a la big sister Kim Kardashian. Whatever she wants to attribute to … wow. Just wow. Last week, Jenner was at it again, matching mauve lipstick with a glittery smoky eye and bodacious false eyelashes to attend the Kardashian Christmas party . Her appearance there was nothing short of shocking. Jenner’s outrageous lips, compared to Christmas 2013, make her look like she’s aged 5-10 years, not one. And she was still into big lips by last year! Wild. How might the epic transformation continue in 2015? The relationship between the Kardashian family and O.J. Simpson is a long and sordid one that would have viewers rolling their eyes in disbelief if it was featured on even the most ridiculous soap opera. First, Kris Jenner’s first husband, Robert Kardashian, represented Simpson at his murder trial, even though Kris was best friends with Simpson’s wife and alleged victim, Nicole Brown. Prior to the trial, Kris was allegedly sleeping around on Robert, and for years, there have been rumors that she slept with Simpson . Nothing was ever confirmed, and the whole thing was disregarded as “too bizarre to be true” by the general public. Now, however, O.J.’s best friend, Tom Scotto has told Radar Online that he’s certain the Jenner-Simpson affair took place. And yes, Scotto’s has re-ignited rumors that Simpson is Khloe Kardashian’s father . “It wasn’t a relationship. It just happened, Scotto says. “It was like Kris was sleeping with everyone! So you can never really know who’s child it was.” Many have pointed out that Khloe doesn’t bear much resemblance to her sisters, so speculation that she might have different dad is nothing new. Still, the revelation that her father is the notorious O.J. would be result in a level of scandal that reality TV’s favorite family has never seen before.
