Funny, flirty Tweeting back and forth isn’t exactly typical of couples that just broke up, but it’s what Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner are up to apparently. “It really upsets me to read all the FALSE!! stories,” Jenner tweeted, just after his split from his girlfriend of two years, referring to what, we don’t know. “Avril has always been there for me and is the closest person to my heart. In her new memoir, Kris Jenner dedicates a chapter to the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson , writing that O.J’s victim ex-wife actually called Kris the day she died because she wanted to show her friend a box of items that allegedly proved the football great had been abusing her for years. But Denise Brown, Nicole’s sister, has now spoken out and says Jenner is nothing but a pitiful liar. “Kris Jenner is pathetic,” Denise tells The National Enquirer , denying Jenner’s claim that she called Kris the day after Nicole died and asked about this box of evidence. “I had just found out my sister was murdered,” said Brown. “The last thing on my mind was whether or not Nicole showed anyone any pictures she had in a safety deposit box… In fact, I didn’t even know my sister HAD a safety deposit box with pictures of her abuse until the beginning of O.J.’s trial – months after she was murdered.” Denise says she’s “disappointed” that Kris is exploiting her sister’s passing, concluding with a message to this sad, money-starved reality star: “For the past two-and-a-half years, my family has had some relative peace regarding all of this stuff… Please, Kris, don’t profit off of my sister’s horrible death.”

I told her: You have to follow your heart.” While the family is weathering the breakup storm, Kris had one message for the haters out there: Kim married for love, not profit. “The misconception that’s so annoying in the media and the press is that the wedding was a sham and she did it for the money,” Kris said. “Kim didn’t make any money off of this wedding. No. She didn’t make five cents off of the wedding. “She spent millions of dollars of her own money on a wedding,” she continued. “And you know our network was very generous and filmed the show and obviously gave her a salary, all of us our shooting fees and all that, but it’s not like we walked away with millions of dollars jingling in our pockets; absolutely not. … It’s tough when you have all the haters who have these licenses to say whatever they want and people don’t know the facts. … And people don’t know the facts.
