The way we imagine it, Hilary got out of the shower, caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror, was blown away by how hot she is, and took a pic to preserve the moment. Kathy Griffin has once again spoken out about her exit from E!’s Fashion Police. The comedian abrubtly quit the series in mid-March, saying via statement that her “style does not fit with the creative direction of the show” and that it was “time to move on.” Many have wondered whether Griffin’s departure was related to the death of Joan Rivers or the controversial comments made by Giuliana Rancic about Zendaya Coleman . But Griffin appeared on The View today and said her issues ran far deeper than that. Comparing her experience on Fashion Police to “dog pile,” Griffin explained: “As a feminist and a comic, it just didn’t feel like the right fit to me. I was being forced to comment about pictures of beautiful women in perfect dresses and say kind of bad things.” Griffin acknowledged that her stand-up “repertoire” included some “heinous” things, but there’s a difference between that she does and what she was being asked to do on E!. “I wouldn’t hold up a picture of Kim Kardashian and say, ‘She’s ugly! Goodnight!’ I wouldn’t hold up a picture of Oprah and say, ‘She’s fat! Goodnight!,'”Griffin said. The red-headed star said she believed Fashion Police would be changing its format to fit her “style” when she signed on, but it didn’t turn out that way. “They had a very strict lane they wanted to be in,” Griffin said. Kelly Osbourne has also quit Fashion Police, which is set to return on March 30, with only Rancic and Brad Goreski on board as panelists at the moment. Those in the running for Osbourne and Griffin’s now-abandoned spots include Naya Rivera, Khloe Kardashian and Amber Rose. “I’m still going to give people crap, trust me,” vowed Griffin, adding: “There’s a lot of stuff I said before that I wouldn’t say now, and there’s stuff I probably won’t say in five years that I do say now. Yesterday, Kathy Griffin quit Fashion Police and broke the news to fans with a series of tweets explaining that she and the show’s producers simply had different ideas about what should be considered acceptable. Griffin gave the impression that by stepping down, she was standing up for kindness and equality and a world in which differences would be celebrated rather than mocked. Yes, Griffin’s reasons for quitting Fashion Police seemed totally out of character for an insult comic who idolized Joan Rivers, so it was no big surprise when TMZ broke the news that producers allowed Kathy to quit in order to spare her the embarrassment of being fired. Earlier this week, Griffin bashed Giuliana Rancic for comments Rancic made about Zendaya Coleman’s hair that many have deemed racist. Kathy’s target may have been Giuliana, but she essentially threw the whole show under the bus, complaining about ideas that were pitched by writers, such as a “Whore Score” segment which Griffin says she rejected for being too mean. “Name calling and alliteration with no comedic context is simply the lowest hanging fruit,” said Griffin. Such comments struck many as oddly bitter, as Griffin publicly lobbied for a spot on the Fashion Police panel just a few months ago. Insiders say Kathy attended a meeting in which producers informed her that they were considering firing her just hours before she tweeted her resignation. Kelly Osbourne and other stars are reacting to Kathy Griffin quitting Fashion Police yesterday, and the collective response has been nothing but positive. The 54-year-old Griffin announced on Twitter that she is out of the E! series after just seven episodes, as her brand of humor did not fit with the series. Fashion Police has been extremely controversial as of late, which would seemingly make it a perfect fit for a star who courts controversy like Kathy. Not the case, though. While she can certainly be “inappropriate” in her comedy, as she admits, she feels the show goes too far for no reason at all. “I am a freedom-loving female and gay rights activist who loves to find the funny in all people, attitudes, beliefs, and appearances, but only when the context permits intelligent humor.” “My brand of humor, while unrepentant and unafraid, is all about CONTEXT.” “Listen, I am no saint. But I do not want to use my comedy to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference.” She wished the show and its creative team well … but DAMN! Griffin thanked fans who back her efforts to “help women, gay kids, people of color and anyone who feels underrepresented to have a voice and a LAUGH!” Her comments quickly drew praise from her ex-colleague. Kelly Osbourne quit Fashion Police last month as well, and writes, “I could not be more proud of you @kathygriffin you have my love and support always!” The two stars’ departures both come in the wake of Giuliana Rancic bashing Zendaya during the Oscars with a joke many felt was racially charged. Griffin had previously condemned the joke, and Osbourne sought to distance herself from Rancic and the quip even before she bolted the program. Chelsea Handler, another former E! personality, also commended Griffin: “@kathygriffin way to go girl. Stick to your guns. Onwards and sideways. Lub you.” Rosie O’Donnell, Jane Lynch, Ashley Fink, Josh Groban, Aubrey Plaza and many others were equally quick to give Griffin props for her exit from E! The show’s future is far from clear. The first name floated about belonged to Khloe Kardashian . And now and insider tells Us Weekly that both Chrissy Teigen and Amber Rose have been discussed by producers. Science Shows Why Men Are Attracted To Large Behinds Women are running out right and left to get the colossal cakes that have become all the rage in recent years. Reputable docs have even dedicated entire new innovations to helping the average woman reach her donked-out dreams. Naturally most of this is for male attention…but exactly why do men find these big ol’ backs so desirable? The answer might come from primal instinct. Via MailOnline : Researchers have discovered that men are particularly attracted to women with a back that curves 45 degrees above the top of her bottom. Such an angle would have given a woman an advantage while pregnant in early hunter-gatherer societies and so has evolved as being seen as attractive around the world, they claim. The findings suggest one possible reason for why the curvy figures of celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez are seen as being so attractive. The scientists found that extra mass around the buttocks could often enhance the curvature of a woman’s spine. Interesting. Apparently the curve of a woman’s spine determines how mobile she can remain longer into her pregnancy, which would have been useful when more humans lived in hunter/gatherer societies. Dr Lewis said that this trait would have become sexually attractive to men due to the evolutionary advantage it gave. Without such a curve, the pressure on a woman’s hips during pregnancy increases by nearly 800 per cent, rendering her largely immobile and increasing the risk of health problems. Analysis of the results also found that the preference for this level of spine curve was ‘unequivocally not a by-product of a preference for buttock mass’, they added. Men who think they like big bottoms may actually be more into spines, Dr Lewis said. He said: ‘Men may be directing their attention to the butt and obtaining information about women’s spines, even if they are unaware that that is what their minds are doing. So it’s the SPINE that needs to be curved to draw a man’s attention. So does this mean all these reality stars and IG models can stop risking their lives to get these overblown backs now??
