Resident jokester joined by Hollie Cavanagh and Skylar Laine in bottom three. By Adam Graham Heejun Han on “American Idol” Thursday Photo: Fox The laughs are over for Heejun Han, as this season’s court jester was voted off “American Idol” on Thursday (March 29). Han, who with his goofball demeanor and off-center sense of humor was criticized heavily for not taking the competition seriously enough, ended up at the bottom of America’s votes following Wednesday’s performance episode, despite earning a standing ovation from the judges for his performance of Donny Hathaway’s “A Song for You.” He reprised the song for the judges in an effort to get them to use their one save for the season on him, but the judges let him go. “Let the record show that you knew this was coming yourself, you saw it come this week,” Steven Tyler told him. “Unfortunately after talking, we’re gonna have to let you go, man.” Just 24 hours earlier, Tyler had praised Han for turning himself around in the competition, and Jennifer Lopez reaffirmed his talents, telling him, “You didn’t make it this far by mistake.” Randy Jackson welcomed him back to the competition, telling him, “Finally, the Heejun that we selected came back to us tonight!” But the 22-year-old from Flushing, New York’s fate may have been sealed following his performance of Billy Joel’s “My Life” the week prior, which was met by a stinging critique from “Idol” mentor Jimmy Iovine. “He came out and disrespected the entire process. His performance was more like four minutes of a bad Adam Sandler movie that goes straight to DVD,” Iovine said, referring to it as a “stunt gone wrong.” “At the end of the day, Interscope has to spend a lot of money on somebody who wins this show, and that’s not it.” At the time, Han — who landed in second to last place following the performance — defended himself by saying, “I’m not trying to be a star, I’m just really happy where I am.” Han was in the bottom three Thursday with Hollie Cavanagh and Skylar Laine. Laine was sent back to safety first, and was followed by Cavanagh. It was the first time in the bottom three for both Laine and Cavanagh. Also on the show, Eric Benet came out to surprise DeAndre Brackensick, who performed his song “Sometimes I Cry” on Wednesday’s show. Meanwhile, last year’s “Idol” champ Scotty McCreery performed his latest single, ‘Water Tower Town,” and was presented with a platinum sales plaque by Iovine, signifying 1 million sales of his debut album, Clear as Day. Nicki Minaj appeared and performed “Starships” and made a pitch to do a guest-judging bid on the show. “J. Lo, can you scoot over a little bit?” she asked, to which Lopez replied, “I don’t know if there’s enough room for both of us up here!” What did you think of Thursday’s “Idol”? Did Heejun Han go home too soon? Let us know in the comments!

They’ve been spotted out in public, and they’ve exchanged loving Tweets , but Jennifer Lopez hasn’t said much about her much younger boyfriend, Casper Smart. Until now. In the April issue of Vogue, the American Idol judge glows over her back-up dancer of a man, telling the magazine: “He’s adorable. But you already see that. He really is [sweet]. He’s a good egg. I don’t want to talk about it too much. It’s my private thing.” But what about that age difference of 18 years? “I don’t feel older, and I don’t feel like I look it, either, so I am just acting the same way I have always acted,” she says. As for that public split from Marc Anthony ? J. Lo adds that she’s “proud” of how both sides have handled it and points to their children as the basis for their continued respect and friendship. “We’re still friends – and we’re parents. But it’s going to take time.. It’s tough. But for the most part, I feel very proud of the way we’re handling it. I really do. We are doing the best we can for the kids.”

There’s a movement called the 5 second film festival that I think is genius because my attention span is 5.5 seconds…so this is the perfect amount of time to suck me in and win me over….like this entry…showing the best magic trick ever…one I am sure husbands and baby daddy’s everywhere wish they knew the secret of….cuz staging a car accident or pushing her down the stairs…or faking a violent dream….or drugging her and dropping her off at the abortion clinic is far less effective.

Best Magic Trick Ever of the Day
I find J.Lo’s fat mom ass totally uninteresting. I don’t care how much she paid People Magazine to say she was the most beautiful person last year when she was making her official comeback from being married to a horror movie character and more importantly having his devil spic babies….. She’s old, she’s tired, she’s played out, she’s boring. If I’m gonna fuck with a bitch who has a set of twins at home in her 40s, I’m gonna do that in private, you know the kind of bitch you meet in a bar where old divorcees go, and fuck the shit out of, never telling anyone you know, cuz it’s not a conquest, it’s just pussy when you need it….. Fuck J.Lo and the raft she floated in on. I hate this bitch and her shitty overrated ass….but here she is on set of some music video anyway…. To See the Rest of the Pics FOLLOW THIS LINK

MTV News takes a look at the pros and cons of bringing Spears onboard as a judge for the reality singing competition. By John Mitchell Britney Spears Photo: MTV News The news that Britney Spears is reportedly in final negotiations to join “The X Factor” has set the MTV Newsroom on fire. Opinion on whether the pop star is a good fit for the reality singing competition has been sharply divided, so we decided to take on the topic the way we’re sure Simon Cowell did before making Spears a reported $10 million offer: a good, old-fashioned pros and cons list. Pro: She’ll attract viewers The debut season of “The X Factor” performed well below expectations. Its heavily hyped premiere pulled in 12.1 million total viewers and a meager 4.4/12 rating in the advertiser-coveted 18 to 49 demographic. That’s about half of what the 2011 season of “American Idol” averaged (“Idol” is having its own ratings woes this season), and it didn’t even win the night: Emmy-winning sitcom “Modern Family” drew 14.3 million viewers and a 6.0/15 for its season premiere. The poor ratings precipitated the overhaul that saw judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger and host Steve Jones fired from the show. There’s no question that Spears would bring viewers to “The X Factor.” She enjoys a large and devout fanbase who will basically follow her just about anywhere. And beyond her own fans, Spears’ celebrity would also likely draw attention from the general public, who will tune in simply to see how she does. Con: She’s become nervous on camera Though she can still wow a crowd live in concert, as evidenced by last year’s successful tour behind her hit album Femme Fatale, Spears has become increasingly tentative during interviews. She rarely grants on-camera sit-downs, and when she does, she seems nervous and uncomfortable. To be a strong judge or mentor on a reality show, you have to be very comfortable on camera. Part of what made Jennifer Lopez click last season on “Idol” was the she came across as confident, direct and often empathetic. She even broke down in tears after sending home contestant Chris Medina , whose fianc

It’s ‘more like a movie,’ Future tells MTV News of his new video while on set. By Sowmya Krishnamurthy, with reporting by FLX Future Photo: Getty Images For his upcoming “Same Damn Time” video, Future returned to Atlanta to capture “ordinary life, everyday life” in his hometown. When MTV News caught up with him on set recently, the rapper shared that the hood-inspired visuals, helmed by director Dr. Teeth, will be “more like a movie.” DJ Drama, who was also on-hand for the shoot, shared his enthusiasm for the song. “It’s crazy in the streets, it’s crazy in the club,” he told MTV News. “Future seems to be kind of flawless right now.” As far as Future’s concerned, “It’s astronaut status,” a reference to his mixtape of the same name, released earlier this year. Future’s buzz on and off the streets has been growing since his catchy hit “Tony Montana.” The gangster-themed and irresistibly repetitive song was so popular that Beyonc

As the bottom two contestants, the wild-card pick squares off against Elise Testone. By James Dinh Jeremy Rosado on “American Idol” Photo: FOX Capping a week of tunes from music greats Stevie Wonder and the late Whitney Houston , Jeremy Rosado was sent packing during the “American Idol” results show Thursday night (March 8), marking the first Top 13 farewell. Before the elimination was announced, the episode kicked things off on a lighter note as host Ryan Seacrest welcomed the contestants to perform Wonder’s 1977 hit “As.” And after all the introductions, usual Ford product placement and recapping, it was time to get down to business. First up on the chopping block were the female contestants, who were eventually narrowed down to the bottom three: Elise Testone, Erika Van Pelt and Shannon Magrane. The trio of male contestants included Jermaine Jones, Jeremy Rosado and Joshua Ledet. Seacrest’s “after the commercial break” intensity ended with Rosado and Testone as the finalists with the lowest votes after Wednesday night’s episode. Leaving the deliberation up to judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, it was Rosado (originally a wild-card choice) who was announced as this week’s eliminated contestant. Asked what he would miss about “Idol,” Rosado simply told Seacrest, “Just the whole experience.” “This was awesome. … Thank you guys for everything,” he said. As a special guest mentor on this week’s episode, Mary J. Blige also took to the “Idol” stage to perform her new single “Why.” Additionally, “Idol” welcomed back season 10 runner-up Lauren Alaina, who offered some Southern charm with a performance of her single “Georgia Peaches.” What did you think of Jeremy’s elimination? Share your thoughts below! Get your “Idol” fix on MTV News’ “American Idol” page , where you’ll find all the latest news, interviews and opinions.
