Deena Cortese Mug Shot: An Instant, Wasted Classic!

Deena Cortese makes our celebrity mug shot hall of fame with this one. The pint-size Jersey Shore star, as you may have heard, got popped last week for being drunk and disorderly in the middle of the day, and it shows! Check out her booking photo, taken by the Seaside Heights P.D. after they saw Deena creating a ruckus and dragged her drunk a$$ back to the station … Deena was arrested on Sunday when she was dancing drunkenly in the street outside a Mexican restaurant … and drawing huge crowds of onlookers. She was then trying to swipe at passing cars for some reason, at which point officers were obliged to step in and end the charade before it got ugly. “It was nothing major, but we can’t put up with it,” Police Chief Tommy Boyd said. Deena’s parents picked her up at the jail later that day, though no bail was posted; she was issued a summons and cut loose pending a July 3 arraignment. Deeley dishes on the celebs competing on the kitschy dating show. By Jocelyn Vena Cat Deeley Photo: Fox’s new dating show “The Choice” gives fans the unique experience of vying for the heart of a celebrity and getting the chance to go out on an actual date with him (or her), all with the cameras rolling. “It’s basically this idea of, we take celebrity eligible bachelors and bachelorettes and they have to compete for sexy singles across America,” host Cat Deeley told MTV News. “So it’s basically normal people … it’s like ‘The Dating Game,’ and then they go out on a date that night.” The show is like that classic small-screen game show, paired with the more modern idea of spinning chairs as seen on “The Voice.” The kitschy reality show kicked off last week with “Jersey Shore” star DJ Pauly D and performer Romeo looking for love. On Thursday night (June 14), Joe Jonas and “Suburgatory” actor Parker Young will try to score on the show. “I was quite surprised about him,” Deeley noted about Jonas when asked which celebrity booking shocked her most. “I imagined him to be quite conservative, but he was kind of up for it. I think that’s the big thing about the show, it’s just to be fun and entertainment. It doesn’t take itself too seriously. Its tongue is firmly planted in its cheek.” Not to be outdone by his “Shore” castmate Pauly D, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino will also appear on the show in an episode airing later this month. “The Situation? Actually, he had a girl that was a real homebody and she sorted him out,” she recalled. “She literally got him out of his chair, and she sat in the chair and, in the end, he was like a little puppy dog with her.” Ultimately, it was a guy who competed on another Fox reality show that left Deeley with a bit of a crush. “I really enjoyed [former ‘American Idol’ contestant] Taylor [Hicks]. I hadn’t met him very many times before,” she recalled. “I think probably Taylor [surprised me the most]. Snooki: Clothed, Riding on Scooter For Some Reason

Snooki has a hot new set of wheels. The Jersey Shore star, now 6-7 months pregnant, is now riding around Seaside on a motorized scooter … for reasons unknown to humankind. The 24-year-old was seen Tuesday in the electric three-wheeler cruisin’ down the boardwalk . It’s unclear if she’s hurt or just sort of felt like it. Despite the recent Snooki nude pic leak, which she (presumably) had nothing to do with, the reality star has toned down her party girl ways. Since learning she was expecting her first child with fiance Jionni LaValle, she’s nothing like the wild child who used to date that d-bag Emilio Masella . Thank goodness for her baby boy’s sake. At one point, Pauly D was seen putting his muscles to work to lift Snooki’s scooter into her new house, located next door to the gang’s cesspool. Not only did she move into her own private, quiet digs, but Snooki even exhibited more mature behavior over the weekend while out at Karma. “She was sitting the whole time. Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is being taunted at clubs for being sober as he films Season 6 of the MTV show, reports say. It was a wild weekend for the cast – Deena Cortese got arrested on Sunday for disorderly conduct – and the gang also got into a big bar fight. But The Situation, who checked into rehab earlier this year because he was battling a prescription pill problem, is battling some issues as well. Sitch denies he has an alcohol problem, which has been widely reported, but whether he does or not, he hasn’t been drinking in Seaside. That’s been fodder for the peanut gallery every night of the week. “Mike has been consistently taunted by other club goers for not drinking,” a show insider says. “[Situation] has been handling it pretty well but it does get embarrassing and awkward for him to consistently be harassed for it.” “Mike was being heckled Friday before the fight broke out. It’s been harder for him to deal with because his sobriety is still rather new. However, Mike absolutely hasn’t been drinking or taking pills and is committed to sobriety.” At the same time, “Mike isn’t going to stay home and not go to clubs.” Interestingly, despite their lengthy and at times violent feuds, Mike and Snooki, who’s pregnant and sober, have found common ground . “Don’t be surprised if you see Mike spend a lot of time at Snooki’s beach house,” where she’s living apart from the cast, the source said. “Snooki has actually been very supportive of Mike and what he’s going through; the two are working on mending fences in their relationship.” The two fought constantly last season over whether Mike saw Snooki nude or not and whether he should tell Jionni LaValle about it. Yup, it does get better than Carly Rae Jepsen singing ” Call Me Maybe ” with the help of Jimmy Fallon, The Roots and elementary school instruments. At the Capital FM Summertime Ball in London on Saturday night, in front of a crowd of 80,000 screaming fans, this 26-year old hit the stage and broke out her ridiculously catchy smash single, only to be eventually joined by the artist who signed Carley Rae to his label in February… Mr. Justin Bieber! Sing and dance along to the duo now, as Justin joins his protege around the two-minute mark and these two prepare to go on tour together this summer: Carly Rae Jepsen (feat. Emilio Masella Denies Role in Snooki Nude Pic Leak

Emilio Masella has, presumably, seen Snooki nude , as they dated for a bit. He had no part in spreading that pleasure to the world, though, he says. Snooki’s former boyfriend, who has been trying to parlay their brief dalliance into fame ever since they split, is understandably a prime suspect, but he says he never saw her leaked self-portraits until they went viral. If you missed it, the racy Snooki pics surfaced online over the weekend. You can see her by herself in various states of undress, grabbing boobs, wearing no pants and so on … essentially, like any episode of Jersey Shore , only not in public. Emilio Masella insists he wasn’t the recipient of the pictures, which she presumably took to text to some “lucky” guy, claiming they’re more recent “based on Snooki’s body.” He didn’t say what clues gave away the time frame. Jionni LaValle, Snooki’s fiance and baby-daddy-to-be, never even liked her partying on the show, and would have no reason to embarrass her. Vinny Guadagnino? Would be great gossip, but doubtful. Either way, Emilio says he could give a flying … “I honestly don’t care,” he adds, with this diss: “I’m trying to get rid of trash in my life … I’m done with her and moving on with my own career.” His career being talking about Snooki.
