And you thought you'd never see the day. Below, the Jersey Shore veteran shares a number of cute photos from the occasion, while also clapping back at a troll who falsely believed Ronnie ditched his baby mama on Christmas. (Also… are these two married?!?! Scroll down to see why we're asking this question.) 1. Together for Christma Christmas was a major holiday for Ronnie and Jen. There wasn’t a single punch thrown between them! 2. Hubby and Wife? Wait, though, did they go out and get married without telling us? Look at those mugs. 3. With His Mom Ronnie poses here with his mother on Christmas, prompting fans to wonder why Harley was not with him. 4. Talk about a bittersweet situation for The Situation. On Tuesday, the veteran Jersey Shore cast member celebrated his very first Christmas as a married man, proving as much by posing on Instagram with his wife, Lauren. But here’s the thing… … it was also Mike’s last Christmas before he goes away to prison for several months. Like we said: bittersweet, right? “Merry Christmas from The Situations & don’t forget to treat thyself,” the MTV personality captioned this photo of himself and his soulmate. On October 5, The Situation (aka “Sitch”) was sentenced to eight months in jail for tax evasion, which he pleaded guilty to back in January. According to legal documents, Sorrentino had to surrender to the Bureau of Prisons by January 15 at the latest, which means he has just over two weeks left at home with his new wife. Gotta be a bit scary for the often-drunk celebrity. Since the sentencing, however, Mike has tried to make the most of the free time he has remaining. The clearest example, of course, being that Sorrentino married Lauren on November 1. “We are so incredibly excited to begin our journey as husband and wife!” the high school sweethearts told Us Weekly shortly after exchanging vows, adding at the time: “We are each other’s best friend and together we can handle anything. Thank you to all our family, friends and fans who have supported us every step of the way. “Gym, Tan, Laurens is the new GTL! With Love, Mr. & Mrs. Michael Sorrentino.” As you might have expected, Mike’s co-stars were all in attendance at his wedding. We’re talking about Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Deena Cortese, Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, Vinny Guadagnino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. A few weeks after their gorgeous wedding, Mike and Lauren flew to Tucson, Arizona, enjoying a relaxing and luxurious honeymoon at Miraval Spa. While there, the newlyweds treated themselves to a number of spa treatments, lots of tasty food and many scenic hikes. It may sound simple, but Mike will be missing all of those things when he’s in the clink. On Saturday, meanwhile, the Situation celebrated three years of sobriety . We’ve been joking about the guy here and there in this post, but now it’s time to be serious: That’s impressive and admirable. Well done, dude! “Big daddy Sitch celebrating 3 years of sobriety & teaming up with @discoveryinstitute_nj to bring a holiday meal to Phoenix Recovery House in Eatontown NJ for Christmas,” Sorrentino wrote on Instagram to honor the occasion, concluding: 2019 will be your year of advancement … God is taking you to another level. When Jersey Shore fans first met Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, he was a cocaine-fueled party monster who lived to create drama. These days, Mike has done a complete 180 and turned his life around in truly admirable fashion. Unfortunately, in the eyes of the criminal justice system, The Sitch still has much to atone for. Back in Sorrentino pled guilty to tax fraud . Federal investigators allege that the 36-year-old had failed to pay taxes on more than $9 million in earnings. In October, Sorrentino was sentenced to 8 months in prison. He’ll be able to spend the holidays with his family but must turn himself in to authorities on January 15. That’s the bad news. The good news is that Mike recently celebrated a major victory in his battle against substance abuse. Mike posted the above photo to Instagram this week, allowing with the following caption: “Big daddy Sitch celebrating 3 years of sobriety & teaming up with @discoveryinstitute_nj to bring a holiday meal to Phoenix Recovery House in Eatontown NJ for Christmas,” Sorrentino wrote. Yes, in case you had any doubt that The Sitch is a changed man, he decided to celebrate his sobriety to giving back to others. In his latest Instagram story, Mike wrote, “2019 will be your year of advancement … God is taking you to another level.” Despite the hardships ahead, it seems Mike is genuinely optimistic about his future — and with good reason. Last month, Sorrentino married Lauren Pesce , the college sweetheart, whom he’s been dating on and off for more than 15 years. “He just wants to get his time done, come home and start his life over. The wedding has been a great distraction for him,” a source told Us Weekly just prior to the wedding. “He and Lauren are just focusing on getting ready for their wedding,” the insider adds. “Once it’s done, he really wants to spend as much time as he can with her before he leaves. “He’s looking forward to working up until he goes away.” We hope he’s been able to do exactly that in the weeks to come. We wish Mike all the best in his continued recovery. View Slideshow: Mike Sorrentino Posts Honeymoon Pics Ahead of Prison Sentence
There’s some television news that might finally save Tori Spelling’s marriage . And it could be neat for viewers, too. A revival of Beverly Hills, 90210 is in the works. It’s surprisingly far along, and apparently plans to include a lot of the original cast. Nine months ago, Tori Spelling hinted at some sort of Beverly Hills, 90210 revival. Now, Deadline reports that this 90210 revival is in the works, with the intention of having many returning cast members from the original series. The first thing that comes to mind, for many, is that Tori Spelling would return as Donna Martin. Then we’d see Jennie Garth back as Kelly Taylor, Jason Priestley back as Brandon Walsh, Ian Ziering as Steve Sanders. We’d also see Brian Austin Green as David Silver and Gabrielle Carteris return as Andrea Zuckerman. For fans of the original series, this is exciting. For those who are too young to have seen it, it could be a chance to learn what all of the fuss was about. This new series is being referred to as a reboot for unknown reasons. Reboots start from scratch and do not share continuity with previous versions. Revivals, however, are continuations within the previously established continuity. As the term “reboot” became engrained in the public consciousness over the past decade or so, many people began to misuse the term. Mike Chessler and Chris Alberghini both worked on The CW’s 90210 series. That show, which ran from 2008 to 2013, was actually the fourth series in the 90210 franchise. The pair are reportedly writing and executive producing this revival series with Ghen Maynard of CBS TV Studios. The show is said to be in the process of being shopped around to multiple networks and at least one streaming service. Multiple platforms are interested in making this happen. It has been suggested that this revival could feature familiar faces from elsewhere in the 90210 franchise. For example, actors from The CW’s take on the show. Could we see AnnaLynne McCord, Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stroup, and Matt Lanter again? (Matt Lanter is again lending his voice to the much-anticipated revival of Star Wars: The Clone Wars announced in July of 2018, but we’re sure he would have time for both) As you may recall, McCord hated how the series ended with such gusto that she filmed her own alternative ending . With that kind of passion, we’d love to see what kind of thoughts she might have on this revival. While many of the names of the OG cast are familiar, one name stands out. Tori Spelling has made headlines time and time again for her difficult life, much of which has to do with her financial struggles. Though her incredibly wealthy mother continues to ensure that Tori’s ever-growing collection of children have everything they need, Tori is another story. A new revival, particularly a successful one, could spell an end — for a while, at least — to Tori’s struggle to make ends meet. That could definitely make her marriage a little easier, too. Or, at the very least, she and Dean wouldn’t be able to blame their troubles on difficult finances anymore. For now, it’s still being shopped. Just because we know who might be involved doesn’t mean that we know what form the show will take. Cast size is determined by budget and scope, not by what people are interested in seeing. Odds are that, if they take this project to streaming — perhaps on CBS All Access, maybe somewhere else — they’ll be able to afford all of the guest stars they want. Also, we’ll have to see which actors can clear their, um, busy schedules. View Slideshow: Beverly Hills, 90210 Cast: Where Are They Now?
How is this for irony? As previously detailed, Roger Mathews and Jenni “JWOWW” Farley got into a heated argument last week because the latter was scheduled to work during a time when Mathews thought she’d be helping care for the estranged couple’s daughter. This led to such an argument that Farley slapped Mathews with a restraining order . Fast forward a few days and Mathews now says he wants to appear on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. According to an Us Weekly insider, that is. “Roger has been contacting MTV to be on season 3,” alleges this source, adding: “He’s been calling them for the last week. He’s not asking to be paid, his only intentions are to film and give his side of what’s going on with Jenni. “He’s offering to give his side of the story and that he’ll reveal the truth between him and Jenni.” This has been Roger’s theme ever since his dispute with Farley went viral. He has released an endless array of Instagram videos in which he emphasizes that Farley is an emotional mess and that he cannot wait for the truth to be revealed. “This is my liberty and my justice. Jenni has more fans than me and more influence than me but what she does not have and has never had is the truth on her side,” he said in one of these videos, going on and on as follows: There is no “my truth” there is only THE TRUTH” and the public is about to see that in its rawest form. No narration needed. Just stay tuned. Justice will prevail in the end. I have nothing to hide. View Slideshow: Roger Mathews and Jenni Farley: WTH Happened That Night?!? According to various outlets, Mathews actually called the police before Jenni did so late last Thursday night, essentially calling his wife’s bluff. In this 911 call, Mathews tells his two young kids that their mother can’t control her emotions, while telling the operator that Farley will be making crap up about what transpired between the spouses. “She’s going to wait until I leave and call the police and make up some crazy story,” he tells the dispatcher in this call. “This is her m.o. and I’m just ensuring that she cannot do that.” A short time later, Mathews left the home… Farley called the police herself… and Roger arrived back home to learn his wife had been granted a restraining order against him. Mathews was escorted out of the house and then proceeded to rant about how he’s no longer allowed to see his kids. But we know this isn’t the case because Mathews shared the following photo of himself and his young son, Greyson, on Instagram a few days after the fight. Still, though. These sources tell Us Weekly that MTV has previously asked Roger to film the series, but he’s always declined in the past. “He’s on a smear campaign for Jenni right now. He has no other avenue to get his message out,” the tabloid claims . “He’s sitting on his social media airing out his dirty laundry and is trying to tell whoever else will listen.” Jenni will get final say on whether or not Mathews appears, however. She filed for divorce back in September, but the pair were then spotted out a month later, having dinner and celebrating their three-year anniversary. We thought at the time this meant they may be getting back together. But we highly doubt that will happen now. As previously reported, things have turned very ugly between Jenni Farley and Roger Mathews. The Jersey Shore star had filed for divorce three months ago, but had then been seen on the town with Mathews a few weeks later and there had been Internet chatter about a reconciliation. Early Friday morning, however, police were called to the home JWOWW still shares with Mathews… took Roger away in a cruiser… and a judge later granted Jenni a restraining order against her estranged husband . How did things get to this point? With details still coming in, we review the situation below and update followers with a strong defense of Jenni by her best friend, Snooki, along with some VERY revealing security footage from Farley's home. Scroll down for the latest… 1. Only Mathews Has Really Commented on What Transpired So Far But, boy, did he comment! The father of two posted several videos on Instagram, lashing out at his estranged wife harder and harder each time. 2. This is What Mathews Says Went Down: JWOWW had to go away for more work and the two got into an argument late Thursday night, December 13 about how much time she spends away from her kids. Roger said he took a bit of “umbrage,” but: “Jenni became completely, uncontrollably emotional like she always does and said she was calling the police.” 3. And Then He Just BLASTED Farley Over and over and over again. For example: “This is the level my ex wife takes it to after telling my kids their dad is a piece of sh-t and she’s sorry she ever had children with him,” Mathews wrote on Instagram. “She gets so emotional and irrational in her anger this is the level she brings it too. Saddest day of my life watching her tell my daughter ‘she is sorry she had children with your daddy’. The truth will come out. The truth will set you free. I will never stop fighting for my kids.” 4. JWOWW is a Faker! Mathews went on and on, blasting his estranged wife as a total selfish phony. 5. She’s Greedy and She Sucks Mathews, and his follows, think Jenni is just about fame and fortune and nothing else. 6. Jenni is Using Our Kids as Pawns! This is what Mathews alleged throughout his multi-video rant. “I’m always there for my children,” he said. “Always. And I’m not allowed to be there for my children anymore because somebody else is so hate filled that they would do that to the father of their children, to a great father to their children. It’s sad, man. It’s just sad.” View Slideshow
Jen Harley does not get along with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. This has been made evident for months now, as the two have gone back and forth on social media and Jen has even spit in Ronnie's face and also dragged him down the street by her car . But it's not also clear that Jen Harley doesn't get along with Ronnie's close friends. On the season finale of Jersey Shore , Harley called to say her home was broken into. However, while Ronnie expressed concern, most of his fellow stars expressed extreme doubt, calling Jen's story into question multiple times on the episode. Jen has been made aware of their reactions. And she has something to say about it… 1. Can You Set the Stage for Us? Absolutely. Ronnie received a call from Jen on this finale, as she informed him that the couple’s home in Las Vegas was burglarized while she and their daughter, Ariana, were asleep. 2. Really, Though?!? Ronnie was worried about his girlfriend and child. But his roommates were critical of Jen’s allegation. 3. BS ALERT! “I don’t buy it. Not for one second,” said Pauly D in response to the call and Jen’s robbery claim. “Jen is up to no good. Because the last time I talked to Ronnie, he had blocked her and I think she’s just doing this to get Ronnie to talk to her.” 4. The Situation Agreed “This is definitely a bit fishy. He had his baby mama blocked. She was moved out of his house. But now, she’s coming up with a whole new development saying there was a home invasion,” said The Sitch in a confessional. 5. What Was Taken? Only Jen’s phone and a laptop, she said. How convenient, right? 6. What Do You Think, Angelina? “She’s lying, this girl,” Angelina said very simply. “This girl is so vindictive. She’s so evil. It’s not even funny.” View Slideshow
DING! DING! DING! The gloves came off on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation this week — but not between Ronnie Jen Harley for a change. Instead, some loser/jerk/douchebag at a club insulted Deena, which brought the cast together in retribution against this loser/jerk/douchebag . Where did things go from where? How ugly and/or violent did it get? And do we have an update on Jen and Ronnie??? Scroll down to find out! 1. Keeping Things Chill Deena Cortese was pregnant and back in town early in this episode. As a result, the ladies decided to do a low-key, “classy” wine night. What could go wrong from there, right? 2. No, He Didn’t Mean Phat Together, they drank, they ate “17 pounds of cheese. And they laughed. And they had a fun time overall. However, on their way out of the restaurant, some dude in white linen pants slammed as Deena fat. 3. Take It Away, JWOWW! “Oh, hell no!” Jenni told the camera. “You can come after me all day, but the moment you talk about my friends, game over. I will annihilate you.” 4. What the Eff is Wrong with You?!? JWOWW then charged at the dude and asked him: “Were you just making fun of a pregnant girl?!” Without missing a beat, he replied, “I was. I did. I called her fat.” 5. And Then It… Was… On! BOOM! “You’re a piece of shit! You’re a f-cking bitch, bro!” she yelled in the loser’s face. White Linen Pants Man called Jenni a bitch and suggested she should go party with him. 6. Wanna Get Whooped?!? “You wanna get whooped by a f-ckin bitch?! This is what’s wrong with America. Piece of shits like you going after pregnant girls,” Jenni added before the girls managed to pull her away. “He’s lucky that I’m full of brie and have Louboutins on.” HA! View Slideshow
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino may be headed to prison . But this Jersey Shore mainstay made a rather and romantic important stop on the way to the clink: We’re talking about the altar! As difficult as it may have been to believe just a few years ago, The Situation is now a married man. This former heavy drinker and fist pumper exchanged vows on Thursday with Lauren Pesce at The Legacy Castle in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. Those in attendance included many well-known names to long-time fans of Jersey Shore and its ongoing reboot: Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Deena Nicole Cortese, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagnino were among the guests. Sources have even confirmed that Farley and Polizzi’s four-year-old daughters, Meilani and Giovanna, served as flower girls. And, yes, Ortiz-Magro’s on-off girlfriend, Jen Harley, was also there with the couple’s six-month-old daughter, Ariana. As far as we know, she didn’t assault a single person during the ceremony or reception. “We are so incredibly excited to begin our journey as husband and wife!” Sorrentino and Pesce told Us Weekly, adding just a couple hours ago: “We are each other’s best friend and together we can handle anything. “Thank you to all our family, friends and fans who have supported us every step of the way. “Gym, Tan, Laurens is the new GTL! With Love, Mr. & Mrs. Michael Sorrentino.” Sorrentino popped the big question to Pesce on Valentine’s Day when she visited him in Miami while filming season 2 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. He spoke to producers ahead of time about his plan to do so. “I let them know, ‘Listen I really want to do this. This show is really special to me,” The Situation explained in April, adding at the time: “This is the show that introduced me to the world. It was really special for me to do this, to get down on one knee on Jersey Shore.” The newlyweds have a challenging several months ahead of them now. On January 15, Sorrentino will begin an eight-month prison sentence after he and his brother, Marc, were indicted in September of 2014 for tax offenses and conspiring to defraud the United States. They were accused of failing to properly pay taxes on $8.9 million in income from 2010 to 2012. In April of 2017, both siblings were indicted on additional charges including tax evasion, structuring and falsifying records. Then, earlier this year, Sorrentino pled guilty to one count of tax evasion and was sentenced to his jail stint on October 5. “He just wants to get his time done, come home and start his life over,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “The wedding has been a great distraction for him. He really wants to spend as much time as he can with her before she leaves.” We send our best wishes to the new husband and wife and we commend them on the greatest hastag any couple has ever come up with for a wedding. Indeed, folks, guests who posted about these nuptials on social media did so by writing about… you can guess it, right? #TheHitchuation.
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation did not kick off on Thursday night by playing the theme music from Jaws. But it might as well have. When we last left off these drinking buddies, they were preparing for the arrival of Jen Harley, who Ronnie invited to hang out despite the fact that she had (allegedly) just dragged him down the road from a car . (NOTE: This episode was filmed months ago, prior to the latest assault accusations against Harley .) Moreover, the last time Harley was part of the group, she (allegedly) got physical with Ronnie and got thrown out of Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. So, as you might expect, tension was running a bit high for her arrival in Jersey. The stars were out to dinner when she got to Atlantic City. After she delivered a few casual side hugs to everyone at the table, there was a whole lot of awkward silence untill JWOWW broke it hilariously by uttering: “Your mug shot — you look hot!” We’re not sure if we agree (see below), but the ice-breaking line worked and dinner commenced without incident. Following the meal, the team got all ready to watch DJ Pauly D do his thing. They were all staying at Harrah’s, but a Caesars Group hotel rep showed up and asked to speak to both Ronnie and Jen. As it turns out, the latter was banned from all Caesars Group properties due to her actions in Sin City, but she was permitted to remain on the premises after she and Ronnie convinced the rep everything would remain calm. “We’ve been going through anger management and therapy on our own,” Jen said. Ronnie told his pals that the issue had to do with Jen forgetting her ID, although no one believes him. But whatever. It was off to the club to have some fun! And for the real drama to begin. While enjoying Pauly D’s performance, the group was dancing and laughing and drinking and having such a great time that they almost forgot how dysfunctional Ronnie and Jen could be. Correction: How dysfunctional they always are. Jen got wasted, Ronnie told her to stop drinking and then the following exchange occurred: And, with that, Jen was gone. Elsewhere on the episode, Angelina Pivarnick opened up to JWoww, Deena Cortese and The Situations’s fiancee, Lauren, at brunch. The topic? Her abusive upbringing. “My dad and me — we’re like — we’re decent,” Angelina said, adding in detail: “My childhood was not easy. Our parents didn’t have a good relationship. My father was a cheater. He was an abusive father. He was never a father to me growing up as a kid. “He met my mother in court because my father was always in and out of jail. “When I was born, my father was in jail. He only had me because it was gonna give him a lesser jail sentence, so he was like, ‘Oh, lemme have a daughter with a woman that I don’t even love.'” Wow, huh? Heavy, heavy stuff. Lauren attempted to suggest that perhaps this was simply Angelina’s “perspective” on the situation, but Angelina maintained that’s “exactly” what her father told her. “Hearing from Angelina her daddy issues is heartbreaking ’cause it makes sense as to why she’s very codependent,” JWOWW told cameras. “I feel really bad for how I treated Angelina and for how I judged her.” So while one relationship took another turn for the crazy and dangerous, at least another one was maybe salvaged this week. We’ll leave you on that positive note.
