Britney Spears’ Tenth ‘Hold It Against Me’ Preview Packed With Technology

By Mawuse Ziegbe Photo: Jive There are just four more days until Britney Spears ‘ “Hold It Against Me” premieres, and the pop supernova continues to keep the suspense high. After doling out super-short snippets of the visual to her latest dance floor-filler for over a week, the preview she gifted fans on Sunday (February 13), doesn’t feature a flash of her toned legs, or a scene where she and her dancers prepare to bust out some heart-racing choreography, but her presence is felt. In the tenth, slickly produced teaser, a lofty chamber dotted with monitors looping many of her old videos takes center stage, as the bass from her insta-smash throbs in the background. The seconds-long teasers will culminate in the premiere of the entire video, which goes down on MTV on Thursday at 9:56 p.m. ET, just before a brand new episode of “Jersey Shore.” The video, which is the first single from her upcoming Femme Fatale LP, will also simultaneously premiere on MTV.com. According to the video’s choreographer, enduring days of teasers will be worth the wait. Dancer Brian Friedman recently assured MTV News that Spears is “definitely setting the bar” with “Hold It Against Me.” “She’s showing that you have to push it as an artist: that you can’t just settle, that you can’t be calm with your choreography, that you have to make a statement,” he said. “There’s so many people out there competing in this world to be the queen of pop, and she’s definitely claiming her throne.” Even with a top-flight track record of memorable clips, Friedman maintained that “Hold It Against Me” will be game-changing. “Artistically, this video I think surpasses a lot of her other videos,” he teased. “So many of her videos are iconic, though. You look at ‘Toxic’ and you look at ‘Slave,’ even ‘Oops … I Did It Again’: People are gonna remember those videos forever. [In] ‘… Baby One More Time,’ she made school-girl outfits relevant and so popular. Britney Spears Is Ready To Work It In ‘Hold It Against Me’ Teaser

By Mawuse Ziegbe Britney Spears in her ninth “Hold It Against Me” teaser Photo: Jive Britney Spears continues to tease fans with seconds-long previews of her forthcoming video “Hold It Against Me,” and the offering on Saturday (February 2) was another lightning-quick snapshot of the vampy visual. In the seven-second preview, a cache of professional studio lighting flashes on surrounding an empty, circular, milk-white platform. Suddenly, Britney appears on the platform amid the bevy of lights in red hot pants, heels and a white top, her blonde hair falling at her shoulders and her feet apart, looking ready to groove. A team of dancers in all-white ensembles flank the pop diva in a similar stance, and with a similar intensity, looking ready to rock it. The entire video for Spears’ Femme Fatale lead single will premiere on MTV on February 17 at 9:56 p.m. ET, just before a spankin’ new episode of “Jersey Shore.” The video will also simultaneously premiere on MTV.com. Which begs the question: How does the cast feel about getting down and dirty on the first date? Good idea? Great idea? Or you-gotta-be-crazy bad idea? That’s what MTV News wanted to know when we hit the film’s red-carpet premiere earlier this week. “Terrible idea. Don’t do it!” Sandler declared. “You got to hold it back.” In fact, Sandler said that if viewers take away one thing from the new comedy, it should be, “Block it! Block it and lock it!” Aniston agreed. “I don’t think it’s a good idea,” she told us. Decker, too, approved of that keep-it-in-your-pants counsel, even if her big-screen counterpart did not. “Total no-no. A complete no-no,” the model-turned-actress said. “My character, Palmer, did it. Shame on Palmer! Make him wait. That should be something kind of special.” Lest you think everyone involved with “Just Go With It” is advising randy Americans to wait until, say, the second date to bump and grind, one co-star told us that, hey, if it feels good, go for it. “I think it probably depends. Seems like a good idea at the time, doesn’t it?” said Dave Matthews, who has a small but memorable role as an egocentric resort-goer. “If you’re both into sleeping together on the first date, I can’t think of a reason not to. Britney Spears Battles Herself In New ‘Hold It Against Me’ Teaser

Fans will get two Britneys for the price of one in ‘HIAM’ video, which premieres on MTV next Thursday. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears in her eighth “Hold It Against Me” teaser Photo: Jive It looks like Britney Spears is in a throwdown with herself in the video for “Hold It Against Me.” In the latest, very brief teaser for the video, one Britney knocks down a second Britney (or Britney look-alike) with a blow to the face. The teaser opens with a shot of two sets of feet, perfectly accessorized in high platform shoes. The camera pans up to show that one blond woman, dressed in a flowing gown, is punching another blond woman, also in a flowing gown, sending her flying through the air and onto the ground in slow motion. The two versions of Britney appear to be in some sort of battle for Britney supremacy. Brett Loewenstern Sends a Message to Bullies, America

American Idol contestant Brett Loewenstern is done being a victim. But he isn’t done impressing the judges and millions of viewers across the country. During last night’s Hollywood round, the 16-year old admitted he was “shaking in his pants” prior to singing, but he calmed his nerves, belted out a version of “Let It Be” that advanced him further on season 10 and told the camera: “I would like to say to the people that tried to bring me down: Bully me, backstab me, whatever. Jersey Shore Recap: She’s Finally Outta Here!!!

This week’s Jersey Shore marked the departure of Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola. A permanent exist, we think – and hope – after the fight to end all fights. As much as we aren’t sorry to see her go, we’ll give her this much – she went out in style after a blowout with Ronnie Magro that exceeded even their standards. This comprised most of the memorable Jersey Shore quotes and scenes from the episode, as we’ve broken down, as always, in our trademark +/- recap below: BOILING POINT: Ron wants Sam’s stuff out of here … with her on top of it. Ronnie confronts The Situation for violating guy code. Funny how, like Sammi pointing the finger at JWoww and Snooki, they always blame others. Minus 5 . Able to see the big picture (take note, Ron), Sitch “takes the high road” and apologize to ensure it doesn’t end in a brawl. Plus 4 for his surprising maturity. He hits the boardwalk to cool off, unaware that Sammi is also heading there with Deena, who “loves single Sammi!” Who loves anything Sammi!? Minus 6 . Sam tells Ron that she’s “never been so hurt” in her entire life as she was in Miami. Ron politely tells her he’s done paying for that and to suck it. Plus 8 . “I’m going to go out there and find the hottest guy in this bar and get Ron back for talking to a girl,” says Sam. Minus 5 for sounding like a petulant, whiny b!tch and Minus 12 for the fact that the “hottest guy” may be a homeless man. Plus 11 for JWoww’s porn star getup here: SEXY JWOWW : Snooki likely isn’t the only one with wood. Snooki: “Jenni looks so hot. Like porn star hot. If Roger wasn’t here then I would probably have sex with her.” Snooki may actually be a man. Plus 8 . She actually asks if she can watch, too. Gross. Minus 5 . Roger sums it up nicely: “Awright, let’s go push.” Plus 9 . Ronnie: “What I did in Miami, at least I had enough respect for you to do it when you’re not around.” He’s right, that totally makes it better. Minus 6 . Pauly notes that Ronnie has kind of a temper. That’s like saying Pauly has kind of awesome hair or The Situation kind of has a six pack. Plus 4 . Things boil over between Ronnie and Sammi to the point where they both have to be physically restrained. Minus 5 , because this is just getting sad. Until Ronnie starts TRASHING HER STUFF and threatening to start boning up a storm with girls in the smash room. Now that’s more like it. Plus 27 . Minus 9 for Snooki’s bed/stairway/Vinny schlong analogy, though. SAYING GOODBYE: It’s been real, Sam. Please don’t come back. Sitch: “This was probably the worst fight I’ve ever seen. Like a five-car crash; horrible, but you can’t keep your eyes off it. Plus 10 , ’cause it’s true. Minus 14 for this metaphor by MTV: “Everything is destroyed of mine,” she says. “Everything is broken and ruined.” Her emotions AND her stuff! Get it??! The roommates hug it out as Sammi departs. We’re actually a little bit sad saying farewell to one of the original cast members. Okay, that’s over. Plus 7 . Pauly could have at least hollered “Cab’s Here!” in honor of her exit. Minus 3 . Ronnie: “I miss her and I love her and I definitely regret all the negative $h!t I’ve ever done. Definitely more now than ever.” Aww. But WE don’t! Plus 9 . TOTAL: +25. SEASON TOTAL: +177.

Ali Larter had a kid and nobody cared cuz she’s only been on one movie…. Well maybe that’s not entirely true cuz I guess she’s a real person with a real family and has a real man who is really screwed cuz now his woman’s got a kid, the worst kind of STD, but I guess you can’t live your life in a negative place and sometimes you gotta look on the bright side, and in this case the bright side is her front side, cuz pregnancy has finally given her the tits she’s been waiting for since she was 12, sure it came with a price, like sacrificing her stomach and ass, but at least for now she’s like fucking a new chick to the baby daddy and that should keep him around a few more months…. Not that this matters in any way whatsoever…
