This father needs his azz beat. What father thinks taking nekkid pics of his daughters is ever okay? According to The Sun Sentinel: A South Florida naturalist, arrested on charges that he helped take freaky photographs of his three young daughters and shared them with other men, is putting on an unusual defense. Brian Martens, 53, who was living at a nudist colony in Palm Beach County, is arguing that there is nothing freaky about the pictures and that they are regular family portraits of a naturist family. Federal prosecutors say they believe several of the photographs are clearly inappropriate and the final judgment call should lie with a trial jury. A grand jury has already voted there was enough evidence to indict Martens on one count of producing child pornography and one count of receiving child pornography. U.S. Magistrate Judge Bill Matthewman agreed with the U.S. Attorney’s Office after reviewing the photographs during a hearing Wednesday in federal court in West Palm Beach. “Several of these photos the court has reviewed are lascivious. … They are, in the court’s opinion, sexually explicit,” Matthewman said. The judge ordered Martens detained without bond pending his trial — on the grounds that he is a serious flight risk and poses “a clear risk of danger to the community, and specifically to his daughters.” Marten’s attorney James Eisenberg agreed that one of the photographs is inappropriate — one the judge described as a close-up shot of one of the girl’s genital area — but said his client did not know the photograph was taken and never gave his permission for it to be shot. Martens hired a professional family photographer to take family portraits, Eisenberg said. “The girls have no clothes on … but they’re not doing anything of a sexual nature,” Eisenberg said. “If they were young ladies who had clothing on, no one would consider them freaky.” “Totally au naturale … is the normal state of all the people who live there,” Eisenberg said. “In the context that everybody in this family are naturists … these photos are not lewd or pornographic in any way.” Martens, who was arrested Oct. 29, would face between 15 and 30 years in federal prison if convicted of the child pornography charge, and five to 20 years if convicted of receiving child pornography. Jill is gunning for that Oscar. Jill Scott To Star In James Brown Biopic We all know Jill can sang and we’re sure she can act circles around singers who try to act, so this should be a good movie. According to Rolling Out: Get On Up, the upcoming biopic about legendary soul singer James Brown, has added two more notables to the cast. Dan Aykroyd and Jill Scott have joined the production; Aykroyd will play Ben Bart, president of the agency that represented Brown for almost 50 years and Scott will play one of the Godfather of Soul’s wives. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the role was written specifically for the singer-actress. Brown himself will be played by Chadwick Boseman, star of 42. The film begins shooting this month and follows Brown’s life from childhood through his influential, and often-turbulent, career. Legendary Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is co-producing the project. The film had been in limbo for more than 15 years, but the project has been fast-tracked since producers finally secured the rights to Brown’s musical catalog. During the long road to getting this film made, superstar Eddie Murphy, director Spike Lee and numerous others had been attached to the movie. Brown himself was assisting with getting the film made before his death in December 2006. Viola Davis, Oscar winner Octavia Spencer and “Walking Dead’s” Lennie James are also featured in the film. Tate Taylor will be directing. Taylor directed The Help previously. Co-producer Brian Grazer told Rolling Stone, “I like to make movies about mastery and genius, and it’s hard to find great subjects. And James Brown is a visually dynamic subject.” Will you be buying your popcorn and tickets?

Jackson Says He Was Not Drunk During Flight US Airways needs to chill with trying to make Brandon the villain…they’re going to fawk up and walk right into a lawsuit. According to TMZ: Brandon T. Jackson says 13 people on his US Airways flight will back up his story that a flight attendant hurled the “N” word at him and made another racial comment. Brandon’s rep tells TMZ … the incident Monday did not go down the way the airline claims. The rep says he was NOT drunk, NOT loud, and NOT disruptive. Here’s the way Brandon says it went … He was running lines for a script he had with some random passenger who was sitting next to him. The flight attendant then accused them of being too loud, but Brandon says the noisy ones were actually in the row in front of them. So the “Tropic Thunder” star claims he then went to the back of the plane for sandwiches, and the flight attendant confronted him, told him she didn’t care if he was Obama’s son and he needed to sit down. He also says she hurled an epithet, “seemingly in jest.” He claimed earlier she used the “N” word. Brandon says the flight attendant beat him to the punch and complained to the pilot and when they landed he was questioned by authorities, who determined he was NOT intoxicated as the airline claimed. Brandon says he has 13 passengers who waited around to back up his story. The airline tells us they stand by their story … Brandon was being a disorderly, drunken douchebag. Bodies Of Boy, Mom And Stepfather Found From the beginning, this looked like it would not end well. What a messed up way to die. According to The Huffington Post: A Mississippi man was arrested in connection to the deaths of a 7-year-old boy, his mother and stepfather, after their bodies were found Monday. Jaidon Hill, 7, Atira Hill, 30, and Laterry Smith, 34, had been missing since Friday. They were last seen driving in their vehicle, which was found burning and upside down in a ditch near Carpenter, in the central part of the state. An ensuing investigation led Copiah County Sheriff’s deputies to 42-year-old Timothy Lydell Burns, who was arrested in Jackson on Tuesday, WAPT reports. The man reportedly led authorities to the bodies, found in an old house near the car’s location. All three had been shot. Police wouldn’t provide a connection between Burns and the deceased family. On Monday, investigators were seen collecting items — including bloody clothes and Hill’s ID badge from her job at the University of Mississippi Medical Center — from a Dumpster at a Shell gas station in Jackson, Yahoo! News reports. Penny King, a relative of Atira Hill, spoke through tears when she told ABC News about the family. She described Jaidon as an “energetic, all-American boy.” “He’s full of energy and full of life. He worked in the church,” she said.. “He just didn’t deserve this at all.” Police didn’t immediately release more information about the bodies or the suspect. This is a tragedy all around, but the boy had his whole life ahead of him and the coward murked him too. Sad.

According to The Ledger: Police have arrested a 48-year-old man who they say poured gasoline on his girlfriend, threatened to burn her and her son, and then knowingly exposed her to HIV. Glen Davis of Winter Haven is facing two counts of first-degree arson, two counts of domestic violence sexual battery, two counts of domestic violence aggravated battery and criminal transmission of HIV after the Saturday incident, according to Winter Haven police. Davis and his girlfriend, who is not being named because of the sexual battery charges, were dating for a few months and, according to his arrest report, shared a home together with the woman’s teenage son. On Thursday, Davis tried to keep the woman and her son from leaving the house by threatening to light the pair on fire, an arrest report states. Davis and his girlfriend argued Halloween night over whether she had cheated on him, the report states. The argument escalated when Davis grabbed his girlfriend by the neck and poured gasoline on her, according to the report. He then threatened the woman and her son with a pair of gardening shears, poured gasoline on the kitchen table and a pile of clothing, and lit the table and clothes on fire, the report stated. Davis’ girlfriend was interviewed Monday by The Ledger’s partner, Bay News 9. She spoke of a terrifying scene. “I seen my life flash before my eyes right there,” she told Bay News 9. “The house filled up with smoke. Fire and smoke and we couldn’t get out.”The woman and her son feared Davis would try to kill them and were forced to stay the night at the house, the report stated. So disturbing. He had to watch his son burn and they shocked him…. people ain’t isht. Police Shock Man To Stop Him From Saving Son They could have asked the man to fall back while they tried to save his son. This was extreme. According to Raw Story: Relatives say police officers used a stun gun repeatedly on a Missouri man to prevent him from going into his burning home to save his 3-year-old son. Firefighters were called just after midnight Thursday to the fire in Louisiana, Missouri, after Ryan and Cathy Miller awoke to find smoke in the recreation room where they’d fallen asleep watching television. They were able to escape through a rear door and call 911, but the boy, Riley Miller, was still in his bedroom. Ryan Miller tried to go back into the burning building to rescue his stepson, but police officers shocked him with a taser three times to keep him from going inside. The boy was later pronounced dead from injuries he suffered in the fire, which investigators said was sparked by a faulty electrical circuit. Family members said they were outraged by the officers’ actions. “It’s just heartless. How could they be so heartless? And while they all just stood around and waited for the fire department, what kind of police officer wouldn’t try and save a 3-year-old burning in a house?” said sister-in-law Emily Miller. Authorities said a firefighter in full protective gear tried to go inside, but the flames were too hot. The boy was found near the doorway from his bedroom to the front living room, investigators said. Another son was not home at the time of the fire. This is so sad. What we did get was a lot of what the situation has been like for Khloe. “Lamar has been having a really tough time lately, and it’s not just black and white. There’s a lot of emotional issues,” Khloe said. “It’s really scary when nothing’s really working and then you know, if you give up, no one in his life would be able to help.” At one point, Khloe was seen defending drug addiction to Bruce Jenner, calling it a disease. As for Lamar, he was acting paranoid, calling Bruce’s phone to check that Khloe was where she said she was, among other strange actions. Parents Confront Children On Bus Every parent loves their kid, but dayum. According to NBC Philadelphia: Parents trying to confront their child’s alleged bully landed behind bars in Pennsylvania last week. Chris and Christina Gring of Montgomery County were arrested and charged for allegedly threatening students by climbing aboard a North Penn School District bus and yelling “Who made my son cry?” according to a police affidavit obtained by NBC10′s Chris Cato. Christina Gring is accused of heading to the back of the bus, questioning students and threatening physical harm if they continued to pick on her son. Some of the kids on the bus were as young as 6 years old. Shanice Garcia, who was one of those passengers, told NBC10 that it was terrifying. “They were crying and hiding under their seats,” Garcia said. The mother, who has been released from jail, told NBC10 that her 8-year-old son has been bullied since the beginning of the school year. Last week he got off the school bus in tears, shes said. The mother said when she asked the bus driver what was going on she was told her to talk with the student safety monitors, which is why she got on the bus. She said she never threatened the kids. “I think it’s because my husband has a record and they needed someone to take the fall for this, because the district wasn’t doing what they were supposed to be doing and the bus driver wasn’t doing what he was supposed to be doing,” Christina Gring said. The North Penn School District is conducting an internal investigation about how its driver handled the situation. The district says it has not received any prior bullying complaints from the family. Chris Gring is still locked up. The couple will appear in court on Nov. 5 to face charges of making terroristic threats. “We’re not monsters. We didn’t mean to scare kids.
