Damn this is so sad it almost makes us want to adopt him ourselves… Orphan Davion Only Pleads With Church For A Foster Family Via ABCNews The adoption agency handling the case of a Florida orphan whose church plea for a family to “love me until I die” has garnered national attention has been inundated with inquiries about him and offers to adopt him. “We have received a tremendous response from Davion’s story!” Eckerd posted on their Facebook page today. The agency has created a call center “to respond to each and every call” about 15-year-old Davion Navar Henry Only. “We ask that folks be patient, we are incredibly grateful for the outcry of interest in Davion and we will get back to everyone as soon as we can,” they wrote. “We are nearing 1,000 inquiries already! #secondchances” The agency has been so overwhelmed with calls that its voicemail has been filled to capacity, which has some people reporting problems. They are assuring people that the call center is working hard to respond to every call and message. Only, 15, has been in foster care his whole life, but has never had a family. On a recent Sunday, he stood in front of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in St. Petersburg, Fla., and made a public plea for a family. “I’ll take anyone,” Davion said. “Old or young, dad or mom, black, white, purple. I don’t care. And I would be really appreciative. The best I could be.” The plea has garnered national attention that Davion hopes will help him finally find a family. There has been an outpouring of support online for Davion, including on Facebook, Twitter and ABCNews.com. We are waiting for a call back from them,” reader Denise Aponte Smith Kline wrote in the comments section of the ABCNews.com story. “We are foster parents and we have had 13 children come through our doors over the last 5-6 years. All of them so very special.” “We would be willing to adopt Davion if there isn’t another family, locally in his county, who doesn’t come forward,” Kline wrote. “Trusting the Lord to work this all out in Davion’s favor. No child should have to ever make a plea like that.” “Wow. I hope this kid finds a loving home,” another reader wrote. “It breaks my heart that so many children grow up in foster care. And when people adopt, they want babies or toddlers, not older kids or teens. Those kids deserve just as much love! His wife has reached her limit. Master P’s Wife Files For Divorce Love don’t live here anymore. According to TMZ Master P’s wife has had it with the rap mogul … she’s filed for divorce. Sonya Miller filed divorce docs — obtained by TMZ — in which she seeks to end her 24-year marriage based on the standard “irreconcilable differences.” The couple has 4 minor children — she wants full custody. They also have famous adult son, Romeo. Sonya wants spousal support. This one’s a little weird. Back in 2011, Sonya went to court to get child support. At the time we thought they were already divorced, but now we learn no one ever pulled the trigger and filed divorce documents. So she did it now, but we’re told they’ve been separated for a long time. M.P. has clearly moved on … because a woman he was rumored to be dating threw him a surprise, flash mob birthday bash in Santa Monica back in April. Republicans Say Obama Planned Shutdown No, what caused the government shutdown was the Republican party wanting the Obama administration to fail so they can further their agenda. According to Raw Story Less than a month after engineering a deeply unpopular government shutdown in an ultimately unsuccessful attempt to derail the Affordable Care Act, Republicans are already trying to shift the blame. Various right-wing media outlets are picking up the claim that President Barack Obama deliberately lured Republicans into a trap planned by his senior advisor Valerie Jarrett. The claim originates with author Ed Klein, who wrote a provocative and widely criticized biography of Obama called The Amateur, in addition to The Truth About Hillary, a similarly received book on the Clintons. “(Jarrett) convinced the president that a government shutdown and default offered a great opportunity to demonize the Republicans and help the Democrats win back a majority in the House of Representatives in 2014,” Klein told The New York Post. Klein said Jarrett told the president that voters would blame Republicans for the shutdown and “devised the no-negotiating strategy” that ultimately forced the GOP to end the 16-day shutdown with Obamacare still intact and to extend the federal government’s borrowing power to avert debt default. “Valerie also came with the idea of using the words ‘hostage’, and ‘ransom’ and ‘terrorists’ against the Republicans,” Klein said. Republican threats to shut down the government dominated congressional coverage for weeks prior to the start of a new fiscal year on Oct. 1. But enforcement of one aspect of the partial shutdown proved to conservatives the shutdown had been planned in advance – by the president. “They already had barricades, cones, from New York to California, Utah, Arizona, South Dakota – they had worked out in advance that they were closing these things down,” said Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) during a Wednesday afternoon Fox News interview. “Somebody in the Senate had to have given them the heads up, we’re not going to take up anything, and that’s the only thing that explains why they would turn down our initial proposal and then compromises, including one that was just capitulation that night before the shutdown started,” Gohmert said. Rep. Michelle Bachmann (R-MN) also blamed the president for Republican tactics, accusing Obama of taking the nation to the brink of default to advance his political agenda. “Republicans were the adults in the room, offering compromise after compromise and urging the President to come to the table and do what’s right for our country,” Bachmann said Thursday in a Facebook post. Even if the government shutdown was a trap set by the president and one of his closest advisors, some Republican lawmakers seem eager to step into it again. Rep. John C. Fleming (R-LA) voted against the House measure that reopened the government until Jan. 7 and raised the debt ceiling until Jan. 7, and he said he’s already looking forward to the next shutdown. “That will get us into Round 2,” Fleming told The New York Times. “See, we’re going to start this all over again.” The Republican party will self-destruct soon. SMH Detroit Mother Says Pastor Winans Refused To Dedicate Her Son Born Out Of Wedlock Famed pastor Marvin Winans is facing backlash in his community after one woman says he refused to dedicate her son at their church because he was born out of wedlock. via MyFox Detroit -Charity Grace lives on the east side of the city with her 2-year-old son, Joshua. The two recently started to attend Perfecting Church under the leadership of Pastor Marvin Winans. On Sunday, a special blessing is planned at the church on East Nevada Street. They are having a dedication service for children two years old and under. Grace was looking forward to having her only child receive this blessing. “I want to instill values and morals in my son based upon the word of God,” said Grace. She called the church on Tuesday to make arrangements. “I told them I was not married and that’s where everything just broke loose.” Grace says she spoke with a woman who told her Pastor Winans’ policy is that he is not to bless children of unwed mothers in front of his congregation. “I’ve never felt so degraded and disrespected in my life,” said Grace. According to TMZ Timbaland’s wife has filed for divorce … TMZ has learned … and she’s not only demanding that he foot the bill for their kid, she wants him to pay for a kid he didn’t even father. Monique Mosley says in her divorce docs — obtained by TMZ — that although she and Timbaland have been married for 5 years, they’ve been a couple for twice that time. In addition to their 5-year-old daughter, Monique has a 10-year-old from another relationship. So why, you ask, is she asking for child support for both kids? Monique says Timbaland is the daddy by default, since he’s “publicly and privately proclaimed this child as his own.” But that’s not all. Monique wants alimony, life insurance, private school, vacations, summer camp and other expenses. She says she’s so strapped for cash, she had to borrow money from a friend to pay her lawyer. She wants Timbaland — who’s worth around $80 mil — to foot the lawyer’s bill. One more thing. She wants to get Timbaland coming and going. In the alimony department, she says she wants money while divorce proceedings are pending, she wants a lump sum, she wants “rehabilitative alimony,” and permanent alimony. It’s like she’s trying to cut him down like a mighty tree in the forest — TIMBA! Dayum, she’s hitting him up for that gwap ski-mask style. Damn Adrian Adrian Has Another Secret Child We feel bad that the guy met his son while on life support , but more secret children? According to TMZ Adrian Peterson fathered a 4th child — his 2nd secret child — and the mother was a waitress at a popular Minnesota nightclub, TMZ has learned. We’ve confirmed … the child is a 3-month-old little girl who’s living with her mom in Minnesota. Sources close to the situation tell us the child’s last name on her birth certificate is listed as “Peterson.” On the day Peterson’s 2-year-old son Ty passed away, the mother of AP’s 4th child posted an emotional message on her Facebook page about the situation. “Today has been a long day finding out my [daughter’s] brother passed away and knowing that she never even got to meet him.” Sources connected to the situation tell us … the mother of AP’s 4th child first met the NFL star while serving him as a VIP waitress at a place called Seven — a steakhouse, sushi joint and ultralounge all wrapped in one. It’s unclear how involved Adrian has been in the child’s life — but the mother recently posted a photo showing the child decked out in Minnesota Vikings gear, so we’re guessing they’re cool. Peterson has fathered 3 other children — a 6-year-old daughter, a 2-year-old son and another son, who died just months after AP learned he was the father. We called AP & the child’s mother for comment — so far, no word back.
