9-Year-Old Boy Reportedly Kills Sister Over Video Game This is so sad. An unnamed teenage girl was rushed to the hospital yesterday in the Arberdeen area of Mississippi after a fight with her brother over a video game turned lethal . According to local news outlets , the 9-year-old boy shot his 13-year-old sister in the back of the head. Their mother was reportedly in the next room feeding their siblings lunch where it happened. the injured teen was rushed to Le Bonheur’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis fight for her life. Hours later, she died from her injuries. Authorities say they don’t yet know how the boy got the gun. The circumstances are still being investigated.

Image via Scott Olson/Getty Shooting At L.A. High School Leaves 2 Shot Today, a Los Angeles high school has become the third school to have a shooting in the past week or so. There was the shooting at the Texas high school on the Jan 22 and the shooting at the Kentucky high school just two days later. According to NBCNews , a 12-year-old girl at Belmont High School has been arrested for shooting a 15-year-old boy in the head and a girl of the same age in the wrist. The boy is listed in serious condition. A woman and two other students were taken to the hospital for minor injuries as well. A girl was seen being taken out of the school in handcuffs, it isn’t confirmed that she was the shooter, but it’s pretty likely from what we can tell. Prayers up for the boy who was shot in the head. A Hit-And-Run Victim Ends Up Dead At Same Hospital Of Woman Who Hit Her A nurse in Queens, New York claims she had a “weird feeling” that the ice she struck on her way to work was actually a person, but nonetheless, she never went to the cops — even after her victim died in the hospital she works at. Geum Min has been accused of slamming into a 77-year-old Jum Sim Yim just after 7 a.m. Wednesday on her way to work. She has been charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident. Yim was walking home from church when the nurse’s Toyota Corolla hit her, later dragging her body 193 feet, according to prosecutors. Min who works at nearby hospital, and kept driving before clocking in at her job–the same hospital her victim was rushed into by paramedics, and later died. Min said about the incident, “I got to work and heard about a pedestrian who was coming into the emergency room. I then learned that the pedestrian was hit on Parsons Blvd. and 32nd Ave…I remembered the bump and the thing that got stuck under my car. I had a weird feeling all day that it might have been the pedestrian.” Continue reading →
Anne Farrar/The Washington Post via Getty Images Target Takes Offensive Party Game Out Of Stores Following Complaints You’re probably already familiar with the boundary-pushing game Cards Against Humanity; but if you’re not, their slogan, “A party game for horrible people,” is enough to educate you on what kind of content the popular game consists of. The famous stack of cards has made a name for itself by being offensive and poking inappropriate fun at almost anything and everything, which is why people get such a kick out of it–but not everybody is into what Cards Against Humanity is pushing. One shopper took to Twitter this week to post pictures of a special “Chosen People Pack” thats on clearance at his local Target. Within the pack is different cards all about Jewish people, with phrases like, “Torturing Jews until they say they’re not Jews anymore.” This definitely got Twitter user Mike Lieber outraged as he posted the photos, and got the attention of Target as well. We apologize for any disappointment as it is never our intention to offend our guests with the products we carry.” Though some are outraged along with the poster of the pictures, others who are fans of the game insist that this offensive nature is the whole entire point of its existence. People in replies have also been very quick to point out that the creators of the game are Jewish, which I guess makes everything okay…. The cards were on clearance anyway, so it seems like users weren’t really feeling the “Chosen People Pack” to begin with–but party-goers definitely aren’t going to stop buying one of the most popular games any time soon.

Gun control will be the topic of the week after 20 innocent people’s lives have come to a violent end. 50 people have been reported dead and over 100 are injured after a crazed gunman opened fire at the Mandalay Bay hotel around 10 PM last night during a concert according to DailyMail . The shooter is said to be dead, but the police are actively searching for a woman named Marilou Danley who is described as 4’11” and 111 pounds. Says Las Vegas sheriff Joseph Lombardo: “We have not located her at this time and we are interested in talking to her” Marilou Danley is being sought for questioning re the investigation into the active shooter incident.
