Chicago Man Accused Of Dismembering 2-Year-Old, You Won’t Believe Why This is one of the most awful stories we’ve reported on the site EVER. After being taken into custody Monday by Chicago Police, 41-year-old Kamel Harris is facing charges of felony first degree murder, felony concealment of homicidal death and one felony count of dismembering a human body. His alleged victim is a 2-year-old boy named Kyrian Knox. According to WGNTV.com reports last Labor Day a foot was found in Garfield Park Lagoon. After the original discovery, Chicago police divers discovered another foot, the child’s hands and a decapitated head, but even after the lagoon was drained the child’s torso was not found. A sketch was created using the head, in hopes someone would come forward about the child’s identity. When 2-year-old Kyrian Knox was reported missing in Rockford Illinois two weeks after the discovery in the lagoon, the FBI discovered his DNA was a match and his death was ruled a homicide. According to police, Kyrian’s mother moved to Iowa for work, leaving her child in the care of Harris, who was a friend of a friend. “Based on third party statements, the baby, apparently, ingested some milk and the baby was lactose intolerant and kept crying all afternoon,” said Commander Kevin Duffin. “And he just snapped and couldn’t deal with it anymore.” Police say Harris reported the baby missing but they didn’t have evidence of foul play until they searched the man’s car. “Once we took the vehicle with a search warrant, we tore out the carpeting and recovered the baby’s blood in the vehicle,” Commander Duffin said. After a long, difficult investigation, Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson praised the department’s work. “Back then we said we would not give up until we brought his killer to justice. Today, I’m proud to say we have kept our promise,” he said. Horrifying right? To kill a child because he cried over a milk allergy, then to dispose of his body in such an evil way. This man deserves the worst punishment that the courts can dole out, then some old fashioned prison justice on top of that, then an eternity burning in hell.
