SMH. Sounds like someone forgot to take their meds: A racist, pistol-packing ex-con was gunning for the head of the Anti-Defamation League in New York when cops caught him in Arizona last week, police said. They said Danny Lee Warner, nicknamed “Tombstone” and a leader of the Silent Aryan Warriors during his 10 years in prison in Utah, had been plotting against ADL national director Abraham Foxman. The suspect told his wife he was “going to New York to kill some people,” one source said. He sent her a letter while on the lam in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, saying he was “headed down South to kill some n—ers and Jews until the government gets me — hopefully, I’ll get enough to make it all worth it before I go.” He was charged with a parole violation, gun possession and possession of stolen property. The feds also hit him with ammunition charges. Let’s hope they catch this crazy person, pronto!! Source
Hold up, waaaaaaaait!! For years, the 44-year-old mother of two was a star in the fantasy fetish community that worshipped the overweight and the feeding that led to it. Simpson had a website where men paid $19 a month to watch her eat. She flew around the world for various events. And she became famous in the British papers. But as the year winds to a close, Simpson has moved on. She left New Jersey earlier this year after her romantic relationship with a man ended and returned to her hometown of Akron. She has turned away from the fantasy world, replacing her pre-recorded videos of her with a blog about her journey to health. She already has lost about 85 pounds, and she hopes to join a gym soon to begin walking in a pool. She has modified her eating, as well. “I realized that I was their fantasy,” she said. “Here I was getting bigger and bigger, and they had their thin wives, with 2 1/2 kids and a picket fence.” Being that she is 600 lbs. Simpson doesn’t believe that she will ever be a Victoria’s Secret model, but she did go through some pretty dramatic model-esque lengths to lose weight… “I’m not trying to be a size 4,” she said. “I’m not trying to be a thin-mint. I just want to be normal and more active.” She has struggled to lose weight for years. She weighed about 200 pounds when she attended Springfield High School in Summit County. Simpson often ate an apple a day along with a weight-loss drink. She said she even smoked crack cocaine for a few months several years ago in an attempt to shed pounds, though she says she didn’t become addicted. “All it did was make me clean my house really, really fast,” she said. This is such a horrible tragedy. Police in a quiet Fort Worth suburb worked Monday to piece together a family history after a man dressed in a Santa Claus suit apparently shot six relatives and himself on Christmas. Grapevine police spokesman Sgt. Robert Eberling said the shooter showed up in the costume shortly before gunfire erupted and that the family appeared to have been opening Christmas presents. Police responding to a 911 call found four females and three males dead. They also found two handguns. “We think he was just inside there celebrating Christmas with the rest of them and decided for whatever reason that’s how he’s going to end things,” Eberling told The Associated Press. Investigators worked through Sunday night and into Monday morning, meticulously searching the apartment where the bodies were found, along with vehicles parked outside. Police said they believe the victims were related, though some were visiting and didn’t live in the apartment. Eberling said investigators were assembling a “family history,” and that the apartment was leased to a woman and her two children, one age 15 and the other either 19 or 20. He would not give other specifics. “We’re getting a clearer picture, but we’re not ready to go on the record with anything until we find out from the medical examiner absolute confirmation of identities and the manner of death,” Eberling said. Autopsies of the shooter and the victims were being done Monday by the Tarrant County medical examiner, but it would probably be Tuesday before their identities were released, he said. Roger Metcalf, a spokesman for the medical examiner’s office, said the victims have been tentatively identified, but the office couldn’t confirm the names because the state driver’s license fingerprint database wasn’t available on the holiday. “In addition, we need to locate next of kin before information can be released, and our investigators are working on that as well,” Metcalf wrote in an email to the AP. Late Sunday evening, police intently searched a sport utility vehicle parked outside the apartment. The vehicle is registered to a man who listed his residence as a home two miles away in the neighboring suburb of Colleyville. Thomas Ehrlich, who lives near the home in Colleyville, told the AP he heard from neighbors that police went to the house Sunday. He said he believed the man and woman who once lived there were estranged. Records show the couple had financial problems and that their home, most recently valued on the county tax rolls at $336,200, had been sold in 2010 at a foreclosure auction – although it appeared the man was still living there. “I actually saw him out doing yard work just last weekend,” Ehrlich said. Spa manager Leah Langford said she became concerned when the man’s wife didn’t show up for work Monday at the business where she had been employed for four years. Langford said she got no response when she called the woman’s cell phone, nor could she learn anything when she went to the Colleyville home and the Grapevine apartment. “For somebody who’s always early to work and who never misses a day of work, we expected the worst,” Langford said. The shootings Sunday were the first homicides in Grapevine in more than a year and a half. Police and firefighters rushed to the Lincoln Vineyards complex about 11:30 a.m. after receiving a 911 call in which no one was on the other end of the line. Because no one responded on the phone, police went into the apartment, located at the back of the complex. They found the seven, aged 15 to 60, dead. Many of the nearby apartments are vacant, and police said no neighbors reported hearing anything on a quiet Christmas morning when many people were not around. It sounds like divorce and foreclosure drove the guy over the edge — combine depression over that with the holiday season and he just lost it. R.I.P. to the victims… Source

Ladies and gentlemen, the isht has officially hit the fan. Via CNN.com : The death of Robert Champion Jr. , the 26-year-old Florida A&M University student and drum major who died last month after a suspected hazing incident, has been ruled a homicide, according to a medical examiner. The Friday afternoon announcement came just as Florida Gov. Rick Scott wrapped up a meeting with James Ammons, the university’s president, whose suspension he recommended amid an investigation into various issues at the university — including Champion’s death. Orange County officials said in a statement that Champion died November 19 because of “hemorrhagic shock, due to soft tissue hemorrhage, due to blunt force trauma sustained during a hazing incident.” He died in Orlando, where the band had been playing. Associate Medical Examiner Sara Irrgang performed the autopsy on Champion, overseen by Chief Medical Examiner Jan Garavaglia. According to the release, they noted that Champion was “previously healthy (when he) collapsed and died within an hour of a hazing incident during which he suffered multiple blunt trauma blows to his body.” He complained that he was thirsty and tired immediately after the incident and, minutes later, lost his eyesight. “These symptoms are consistent with hypotension or shock,” the statement noted. Some band members have said Champion may have died after a rite of passage called “crossing Bus C.” One member, who spoke on condition of anonymity, explained students “walk from the front of the bus to the back of the bus back backward while the bus is full of other band members, and you get beaten until you get to the back.” The autopsy found that Champion had “extensive contusions of his chest, arms, shoulder and back.” There was no evidence of “natural disease except for a slightly enlarged heart.” The young man’s father, Robert Champion Sr., said, “We are pleased to find out what caused our son’s death.” “Now, we need to move forward, so this doesn’t have to happen to any other kid,” the father said in a statement. Damn, it turns out pedophilia is just running rampant in sports. And the stuff this guy Dodd is accused of is just sick. The Amateur Athletic Union announced that it has contacted Memphis police and launched its own investigation after ESPN reported on Friday that the organization’s longtime president, Bobby Dodd, allegedly sexually abused two young basketball players during the 1980s. Ralph West, now a 43-year-old who lives in Miami, and a man who requested anonymity told ESPN they independently confronted Dodd about the abuse last month after former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky was charged with sexual abuse. The second man said Dodd, 63, apologized for the abuse during an eight-minute phone conversation on Nov. 11. The men say the abuse occurred between the ages of 12 and 16, when they played basketball for Memphis-based AAU teams directed by Dodd. The men say Dodd fondled them and masturbated in front of them while they were in their teens. Neither man reported the abuse to the police. When an ESPN reporter contacted Dodd, the AAU’s top official since 1992, for comment, Dodd’s assistant responded with an email that said Dodd had cancer and had retired from the AAU on Nov. 29 for health reasons, the network said. Other AAU officials, however, said his departure was news to them. The sports organization said Dodd would not return and named an interim leader. West and the other man told ESPN that Dodd kept hundreds of photos of players’ clothed backsides and crotches in filing cabinets. He also had bags filled with dozens of pairs of teenage boys’ underwear with names and dates on them. Dodd also had samples of boys’ hair that he kept in envelopes or affixed to the dashboard of his car with petroleum jelly. West said he once found Dodd hiding in the attic of the coach’s home, in his underwear, with a video camera. Dodd, who had told players they could use his home to party with girlfriends because he would be out of town, was apparently trying to record West and a girl. The former player said Dodd offered him $1,000 if he agreed to let Dodd perform oral sex on him while he was blindfolded and bound. The anonymous player told ESPN that Dodd had plied him with alcohol and drugged him one night, and he believes the coach abused him while he was passed out. West said he had sent an email to the AAU’s compliance department on Nov. 9 alleging that Dodd was a pedophile because he was concerned the AAU leader still had access to children through his Memphis AAU club and as the head of a national organization that serves more than 500,000 children. Nobody followed up, he told ESPN.

We’re pretty certain there were other ways this fool could have gone home to prison. Fueled by dangerous paranoia following his release from prison, Damel Burton, 34, carried out a psychotic 15-minute spree that left two people dead and sent terrified passengers stampeding off a Q111 bus, police sources said. The madman told cops he believed the commuters were plotting against him. “People on the bus were on the phone and he thought they were talking about him,” a police source said. Burton began his horrific spree by fatally shooting Keith Murrell, 18, in the chest in the apartment they shared with Murrell’s mother on Foch Blvd. in Jamaica, police sources said. The gunman, who had grown increasingly unhinged following a seven-year prison stint for armed robbery, then boarded the bus and randomly shot innocent commuter Marvin Gikes, 36, in the back of the head, police sources said. He collapsed on the bus’ rear steps and died. Next, the gunman blasted commuter Jojuan Lipsey, 29, in the face as screaming passengers ran for their lives, sources said. Lipsey, a state-employed counselor for developmentally disabled patients, was heading home from work to see his wife and kids when a bullet tore through his mouth. “He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time,” said his mother-in-law, Catherine Baynes. “You don’t expect anything like that to come so close to home.” Lipsey underwent surgery at Jamaica Hospital and is expected to survive. The bus bloodbath came shortly after Burton and Murrell got into a confrontation in their second-floor apartment, their friends said. After Burton blasted him in his chest, the dying teen stumbled into his room and locked the door to get away from the crazed killer. Murrell managed to leap out the window and run to a nearby Royal Fried Chicken store to get help. He collapsed outside the chicken joint and later died at Jamaica Hospital. “He was running over here and he fell to the corner,” shaken store clerk Ali Nasery, 27, recalled. Burton raced out of the apartment after his first killing, but police sources said he dropped a damaging clue — an identification card, which police found along with several 9-mm. bullets. Fewer than 15 minutes later he boarded the bus, opening fire as it rumbled near the intersection of Archer Ave. and Parsons Blvd. Chaos erupted as the gunfire sent about 50 panicked passengers rushing for the front of the bus and screaming for the driver to open the doors, the rattled driver told the Daily News. “They just wanted to get out,” the 57-year-old driver said. “It was panic, crazy. I couldn’t believe it. “It sounded like the Fourth of July,” he added. He said passengers were screaming, “Let me out, let me out,” as they ran for cover. After unleashing the insanity, the suspect ran off the bus, but only made it a block away before police captured him. He was still carrying a semi-automatic 9-mm. Ruger pistol, the sources said. Police charged him with second-degree murder, gun possession and assault. Can you imagine how that poor boy’s mother must feel about bringing this psycho into her children’s lives?? Source
We know this lady is about to get a hefty payday for this one: It was supposed to be a routine outpatient surgery to remove some growths from Kim Grice’s head. But something went horribly wrong during the Tuesday morning procedure and a flash fire seared Grice’s face and neck. The 29-year-old mother of three was rushed by helicopter to the University of South Alabama Burn Unit with burns to her face and neck. “At 8 a.m. two patients were back there,” Ann Grice told the Crestview (Fla.) News Bulletin. “One was my daughter. At 10:20 emergency medical and the fire department pulled up and there was a fifty-fifty chance that they were coming through the doors for my daughter. I went to the desk and no one would tell me what was wrong.” When hospital personnel finally explained that Kim’s face had caught fire, Ann was stunned. “I am in shock,” she told the Bulletin. “This is not what happens with a routine outpatient surgery. She had headaches and the doctor was going to remove three cysts and biopsy them. But something went bad wrong and my daughter is now in a burn unit with burn specialists and I still don’t know what happened. No one will tell me why or how this happened to her.” What happened to Kim Grice was not an isolated incident. Experts estimate that each year 650 fires flare up in operating rooms around the country. Some patients recover with scars and emotional damage. Some die from burns and smoke inhalation. North Okaloosa Medical Center issued a statement with an update on Kim Grice’s condition, promising a full investigation of the fire. “The hospital deeply regrets today’s event in which a patient sustained burns during a procedure in our ambulatory surgery center,” the statement read. “The staff took immediate steps to respond, including moving the patient to the hospital’s emergency department. The patient was fully alert and able to converse with the ED staff during the examination and initial treatment. She was stabilized and then transferred to the University of South Alabama Medical Center for further care. Experts say it shouldn’t be a surprise when fires flash in ORs. All the necessary ingredients are on hand to spark a conflagration. The FDA launched a new initiative to prevent surgical fires, noting that though these are rare events, they are also highly preventable. The agency convened a special workshop to look for ways to stop fires from ever happening and to give medical personnel the tools and knowledge needed to deal with a fire if one occurs. Wow.
