Christian Slater: Engaged to Non-Lesbian Brittany Lopez!

Christian Slater has finally tracked down some true romance. The actor announced on Jimmy Fallon this week that he’s engaged to Brittany Lopez, sharing a hilarious story of how they met and what he thought of his now-fiancee at the time. After witnessing Lopez get down on one knee in front of a woman at Little Palm Island Resort near Miami, Slater explained: “I thought I had just witnessed a nice lesbian engagement, so I was coming over to say congratulations, but it turns out it was her aunt, and she was just trying to help her aunt capture the beauty and the romance of the moment. She was making a joke, and I witnessed it, and it intrigued me, and the next thing I knew, we were hanging out in the Everglades.” This will be the second marriage for Slater. He shares two kids with ex Ryan Haddon, Jaden, 13, and Eliana, 11.

Get ready to feel really, really old. Bill Cosby and Tempestt Bledsoe from the classic The Cosby Show reunited last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Blledsoe, who played Vanessa Huxtable on the show, was a guest on Late Night promoting her new show Guys With Kids. The show, which is also produced by Jimmy Fallon, talked about her television husband and awkwardly intro’d a clip about her having relations with her husband next to her longtime television father. Fiddy Says That Copyright Lawsuit Ain’t Nothin’ But Some Bull

50′s claiming the guy who’s suing him doesn’t even own the damn song anymore!?!? According to TMZ : 50 Cent doesn’t own the 1970s song he recently sampled — but in court docs obtained by TMZ, he claims the guy suing him for copyright infringement doesn’t own it either! As TMZ first reported, a man named Robert Poindexter sued 50 … claiming the rapper hijacked a sample of his Persuaders song “Love Gonna Pack Up and Walk Out.” Robert claims 50 used it on his track “Redrum,” which he released for free online. But in recently filed court docs, 50 says the suit is TOTAL B.S. and claims he never violated any copyright laws. In fact, he says Robert doesn’t even own the rights to the allegedly-stolen song because he signed them over to Warner Music Group awhile ago … therefore he can’t sue. 50 is asking a judge to dismiss the case ASAP. Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas: Married!

Alec Baldwin is once again a married man. The actor married Halaria Thomas on Saturday in front of family and friends in New York City. There were no Alec Baldwin-photographer incidents on the way to the service. Ireland Baldwin, the groom’s 16-year-old daughter with ex-wife Kim Basinger, was in attendance, along with stars such as Jimmy Fallon, Lorne Michaels, Tina Fey, Mariska Hargitay, Woody Allen and Alec’s brothers Billy and Stephen. Matthew Hiltzik, a friend of the couple, announced the news on Twitter: “Hilaria Thomas and Alec Baldwin were married this evening in New York City, sharing the occasion with family and friends inside the Cathedral, and Alec warmly receiving congratulations from well-wishing fans on his way into the service.” The bride wore a silk magnolia trumpet Amsale gown with cap sleeves and a keyhole back neckline. The 30 Rock star groom donned a tux from Tom Ford. The bridesmaids wore eclectic miss-matched dresses, some in black, gray and turquoise, others in bold turquoise-and-purple tie-dyish prints. The venue was decked out with bridal-white roses, hydrangeas and calla lilies. Baldwin, 54, began dating Hilaria Thomas , 28, last summer and immediately seemed smitten.
